Dark Classical Academia Volume 4 You're Studying at an Oxford Library at Night 📜 is out now! th-cam.com/video/gvvy2zjTb0k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7CEvna1qu8pv2CUn
I am so glad I found your page. I am studying for a licensing exam, and have been struggling for motivation and focus. Looking forward to listening to more of your playlists, and hearing your tips regarding studying. Thank you for creating this content. It is precisely what I needed.
I read about 3/4 of a novella to this, took an hour long nap then finished the rest of the book all with this still on in the background. I'll say waking up to this music and picking up a book where you left off is some of the greatest immersion I've ever experienced
A wonderfully balanced music and white noises, it's awesome to hear rain that does not sound like someone's frying ice cubes. AND IT'S 7 HOURS! Thank you!
I've been rewatching this video a lot, but even though I've read this comment many times the "frying ice cubes" makes me laugh to read it every time I click back on this video
hey please never ever take this down. I sleep to it every night and leave it on all day, it is the background soundtrack to my life, I must have replayed this 50 times since discovering it. So peaceful, perfect for reading and keeping the house vibes calm.
Please consider downloading and keeping a copy of it on your computer somewhere while still supporting the chanel. Not long before I also have a music video like this which I put on everyday but one random day I just can’t find it anywhere anymore. Eventhough I managed to downloaded some of the songs in the playlist, having the video taken down was still such a huge loss.
I have discovered that classical music can be played in the background when studying literally any subject and it never diverts my attention like pop songs. its amazing
I went to the description to look at the composer because I loved the music. I assumed it was a famous piece from the 18th century I'd never heard before, but YOU WROTE IT?!?! That's incredible!
I'm convinced 4am is the time of day most people are asleep. Most people go to bed before 4 and wake up after 4. It's the most calming and quiet hour of the night.
I love 4am. Waking up before 5 is pretty awesome. I used to do 330 and go to the gym. That gets hard after a year. Its like a strict time diet. 4am is nice.
I battle lupus and there are times I struggle to get moving. Music is truly my therapy. This playlist takes me away to lands far away from pain and sadness. Thank you💜
I suffer from fibromyalgia caused by brain damage in my pain center, as I am a stroke survivor. This mix of light piano and rain is going on my FOREVER LIST. I don't function well or sleep at all unless I have pink noise like this to help me detach! God bless! 💚🍀
I used to love walking home from the bars in college either after a light night of partying or after getting off work. It would be 3 AM and only a couple souls even moving around in town. You had the whole place to yourself and it just seemed so different. I miss that freeing feeling a lot these days.
Over the past three years, I've consistently played this playlist, marking the beginning of a lovely autumn season. It sets the ambiance for activities like cleaning, cooking, baking, with candles adding warmth, and the delightful scents of pine cones and cinnamon. There's also the delight of my kids playing football and precious family moments, it’s like stepping into heaven each time.
FINALLY I have one of those videos people say "omg this video helped me write so much last night" that I can _also_ say that about. I have no idea what magic you worked with this one, but there's not a single piece that brings me out of the zone. I feel more focused, more driven, more patient, and ready to keep writing. Thanks!
I’ve taken such a long break from reading.. so when I checked and saw I’ve read for 42 minutes. It made me feel happy. Now, that might not seem long but Ever since I got more advanced tech I’ve been obsessed with video games like Roblox or just texting in general. Never ever continued my love for reading. But now that I have free time.. I just feel like I’ve missed a lot in the reading world. I love books so much.
This Dark Academia Playlist is top-tier from the various ones I have listened to. It is more subtle, but still noticeably catered to the Dark Academia genre with a great balance of soft and gentle rain. Love, love, love it! 😁
Recently on the mend from a potential life threating condition, my eyes, ears and overall sense of the world have changed and this is my go too every night before sleep. Wanna thank you for being part of my recovery and re- awakening!
Wonderful pacing and by far the best ambient track I have found. The music is no too simplistic but also does not demand overt attention. It’s very soothing and cozy too. Well done!
I left myself behind tonight, took a walk trough the dark alleys of my mind. Watching you sleep so soundly, smiling, breathing calmly. You are like a guiding light, all those shimmering stars in your eyes. Oh, nothing can match that brightness, you're fearless, walking beside me. And maybe I can find myself tonight laying by your side. Perfect video for writing. ❤
I want to spend some time with the hubby but it’s his gaming with friends day. So I am listening to this playlist watching him play and reading my book and I feel like I am in a wholesome little movie. Love when you can just be with your best friend in a room but you’re both doing what you love.
Who would've thought I'd turn into a reader! Had some free time and realized I haven't read a book in a while. Watched a bunch of TH-cam book recs but felt overwhelmed. Lucky for me, I found "7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens". Not only was it my first non-fiction book, but it was also filled with interesting stories and valuable lessons. I was so into it that I read 4 hours a day and finished it in just 3 days. It changed the way I think, helped me prioritize, and improved my communication skills. I was blown away by the impact a book can have on your life. Currently reading "How to Win Friends and Influence People" to understand people better. Bottom line: just pick up a book that interests you, no need to finish it. Focus on understanding and applying what you read.
Absolutely beautiful; I struggle to listen to audiobooks/podcasts without some music or white noise in the background, and this is precisely what I've been searching for!
Aside from its help to improve focus, the best thing about a long playlist like this is it help to gauge how much of my time is spent actually being focused. Because I know if I'm not focusing this playlist is paused.
This is what I am feeling while hearing the first 30 minutes music this.... like a flash back of my childhood, those Happy days in my teenage, the dream life with my future partner who I don't know him yet , and a meaning full life that we are blessed with ,no matter what problems we face at the end just a small soul in this massive universe...🥺eyes are filled with tears ....the time I spent with my parents❤
Thank you. Currently writing a few papers on divinity. This helped me so much with concentrations and inspiration. For anyone out there needing to hear this; you are loved, you are cared for, and you belong. Take Care and God Bless
Don't forget the addition of a cheese hostess from the mall in the story. An essential addition to any good novel. Talking dogs were good back in Gogol's time, but that was over 100 years ago. Modern novels cry out for a cheese hostess to make a cameo.
I love your Dark Academia music since last year so I've been listening to since then and till this day, at the moment I have it running. :) I've told my mom about your music production and she likes it as well, thank you StudyMD for providing this music for us to listen to, and thank you for your amazing Study with me content. 🖤
This is beautiful, I've got issues focusing but I was able to lock in and write my whole paper thanks to this video. Felt like I popped a Ritalin lmao. Thank you!!
I find it difficult to read in complete silence so I love listening to instrumental music while reading. Just got Wuthering Heights and I'm finally going to start reading it while listening to this 😁
@@azrani2023 Thank you! It's quite interesting and I'm curious to see who Catherine is and why Mr. Heathcliff and the other residents of Wuthering Heights are so cold and hostile. I'm still getting used to the flowery and antiquated language that's being used but I knew to expect it going in considering the novel was published in 1847.
@@ajromero3692 I know what you mean. 😁It's been years since I read it, but just like other classics it definitely has a different language from nowadays fiction and that collides with what we're used to ... anyways, have fun on your read! :)
To whoever is reading this, I hope you heal from the things you don’t speak about. I hope you find peace within your day. If all you did was get out of bed today, have a glass of water, or even just did whatever you could, just know that’s the best you could do at that moment and that’s okay. Everyone sleep well and I hope the waves of relaxation wash over you. Sending love and healing and light to all of you.
No way! I've been playing your Original Dark Academia upload along with a different video of rain noise for a few weeks now. This is EXACTLY what I wanted. Thanks for the mind read ;-]

This soundtrack is so relaxing. I am currently studying for an exam and this soundtrack really helps me to focus and study. Also, I sometimes listen to this when I am bloated or constipated. This soundtrack really helps me to release some gas lol - the relaxation is key.
The piece that begins at 55:17... I feel like I've heard this before. I feel like I've played it before, but it's different and makes me smile. Beautiful.

While lisiting I like to imagine I'm in a huge library insides office an old mansions filled with every book and it's raining outside, and the library is almost completely empty but maybe I'll see someone once in a while to explore a little with or have a long conversation over with with hot coffee
I’m reading(doing late precalc homework) in an 18th century library(a modern local library branch at a park) and it’s raining outside(its hot and sunny)
Reading Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness. All the other playlists felt too lighthearted to read it to, but this playlist has a perfect neutral reading atmosphere. I’m quite certain I’ll be coming back in the future for many other books throughout my classes.

I’m reading(doing late precalc homework) in an 18th century library(a modern local library branch at a park) and it’s raining outside(its hot and sunny)
Love this 😀
Reading Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness. All the other playlists felt too lighthearted to read it to, but this playlist has a perfect neutral reading atmosphere. I’m quite certain I’ll be coming back in the future for many other books throughout my classes.
