Well, well, what a nice place for residing. Loved the stately mansions as well & the leaves of the trees fluttering in the wind. Appreciate your work. Thanks dear for this superb video🎉❤🎉
I used to live in Hampstead. It's beautiful with a lot of charm. But the way somewhere looks wears off quite quickly. It used to be a very creative place, full of artists and the literatti. But now it's full of bankers. I would say it's lost a lot of what made it a lovely place. Still like going to Louis though!
It’s so beautiful. I wish you would just slow down and point the camera on those beautiful homes and beautiful landscaping. However, thank you for at least taking the time touring us❤️
@@jackjames3190 the streets I walk on are really beautiful and the houses too! I strive to capture the beauty of London while not intruding on people's privacy. I hope that makes sense :)
Excellent video quality. It’s nice to see the influence by London’s architecture upon local areas such as Piedmont, north Berkeley, Kensington, and especially the UC Berkeley campus.
It’s disorientating how similar the Sykes were right up until the 1920s. After the First World War there was huge social change in Britain and the class structure began to properly give way for the very first time - there’d been so much Death in the war that afterwards there was a social movement for a fairer society and that started with “homes for heros” council housing for the returning working class soldiers and their families - beautiful mansion blocks or red brick neo Georgian 1920s blocks that look like they’ve been picked up from New York’s upper east side and carefully placed in London - they’ve aged well and still look stunning and somewhat “American” they also remind me of Harvard
Nice walk, but could you do one in the more central part of Hampstead, around the High St, Heath St, Well Walk, Church Row, Holly Mount, Keats Grove, Downshire Hill etc?
I lived on Haverstock Hill for a while in the 60s. Much nicer with way fewer cars and new ugly buildings. The most spectacular houses around here are on Eton Avenue, towards Swiss Cottage. I sped the video up to 1.5x, I thought that was a more comfortable pace.
oh awesome! Thank you for sharing your memories! ❤️ I make the videos slow deliberately so the viewers feel immersed in the experience. But glad you found the speed options! You can watch all my videos at that speed! 🏃🏻♂️
The council shouldn't allow " OF STREET " parking in such a beautiful area , it will affect the value of the other properties in the vicinity ... maybe the owners should take legal action to prevent it from getting much worse!!!.❤️🙏🇬🇧
Pay all that money to buy a postcode & listen to constant construction works, loud traffic, & emergency sirons all day.. Might as well save it & move further out, somewhere more peaceful - the air quality there nowadays must be horriffic. Money doesn't buy everything. Hampstead used to be really beautiful, but the pace of the modern world has spoilt it imo. Thanks for the video though, it was still nice to visit virtually again..❤
Here is a list from google: Elizabeth Taylor, Stephen Fry, Harry Styles, Jonathan Ross, Anna Pavlova, Slash, Sting, Sam Smith, Lord Byron, Ian Fleming, John Keats, Emilia Clarke, Dame Judi Dench, Ricky Gervais, Jim Henson, Boy George, George Michael, Tim Burton, and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Boy George lives in Hampstead and did George Michael live there as well as Goring?
George Michael didn't live far his place was in Highgate Village about two miles a way
What famous people live in that area

this is a very residential area only the billionaires live there so you will not see many people is no a commercial area
it has hardly changed over the years the only real change is the increased traffic
