Almost finished to buy all the items for this build and have a question, why don't you cap physical as fire/elemental damage? With Watcher eye you could cap it. Then armour shouldn't be necessary.
So the reason is that if u check the PoB and look how damage from trauma mitigates, you will find out that the mod "phys damage from HITS taken as fire" doesn't mitigate dam from trauma. I don't know why, but it really works like that. Only general mod "phys damage taken as fire" mitigates it. So we get around 60% mitigation with a perfect shield and our body armour. The rest is on our armour and endurance charges. You really can't skip the armour part, believe me. I tried. I even made a post on the forum asking why the hell this mod doesnt mitigate the damage, but I got no answer. What's left is just to believe what PoB says. That's why I added armour to the build, initially there were no armour obviously.
With progenesis you can be literally immortal, ye. But I died because of the countdown, nobody can survive that. It's the mechanic which forces you to leave before the countdown ends, so yea.
