Hello everyone! I actually found quite a bit more than was shown in the video. Such as, 2x empower, prism guardian, 100+ unmaking, 200 regret orbs, 300+ chisels, 50+ GCP. 8+ 21/20 gems
I got 2 magebloods from Ultimatum at two different occasions. One raw Mageblood and one from an Inscribed one that required an Astramentis. In trade, Ultimatums are very profitable if your sample size is big enough to give room for lucky drops which WILL happen eventually. The looting style of Ultimatum is very similar to TOTA. Do enough of them and you will eventually find a jackpot. Other things I've found were several double corrupt uniques in the 2-15 div range, stack of 8 Raw Divines(Duped to 16), Enligtened Support, a bunch of Inscribed Ultimatums giving 4 additional divines, 3 shields from the boss and of course the Magebloods amongst other things. Some thoughts on Ultimatum. If you're a build that is able to deal damage while moving around like Minions, Totems, Dot Builds, Cyclone et.c. the Keystone is absolutely broken. 50% less damage taken in Ultimatums enables you to do 10 wave Ultimatums in T16 in trash gear if you know how to avoid the Ruin stacks. If you're constantly on the move, you basically never get Ruin stacks as long as you avoid the blue swirly thing that occasionally appears giving Ruin if you touch them. Survive and Stone Circle event are much better than the Defend and Kill events. This is mainly due to one set of mobs that can spawn which seems bugged. There's a wave of monsters that spawn blue diamond shaped crystals that wont move and a bunch of construct monsters. This monster configuration spawns VERY few monsters and extremely slowly. If you get the kill or defend the altar Ultimatums with this monster setup the Ultimatums become INCREDIBLY slow because they spawn 1-3 monsters at a time. You can often spend 2 minutes alone one wave because nothing spawns while you're just looking around for monsters to kill. For this reason I suggest only speccing into the Stone Circles and Survive events. The Limited Area mod is completely unhinged and needs to be gone. If you get it, it's an autloss. You can't complete an Ultimatum with the passive tree and limited Area becuase the Area becomes so small that you can't fit inside the circle. Definitely flew over the devs head before playtesting.
I got 2x The Nurse on round 9 and a couple of binding orbs on round 10. So random. They need to do something about which reward is given at which round
Instead of the complete trash corrupted items it should just give you useful corrupted stuff, like lvl 21 gems, influenced maps and such, that would always be useful to some degree. They can lean into the "corrupted" vaal aspect more.
The "trash corrupted items" are fine to be honest. You only need to hit 1 double corrupted stat stacking item to be rich all league. Its an all or nothing mechanic and if you do ultimatum enough, you will eventually get an insane item.
true, also lvl 21 gems and influenced maps would probably be an overkill; at the same time, if you drop a useless corrupted item with amazing implicits, you can always have fun with tainted currency like chaos and mythics
@@mp7311 Even then, it's still a worse ritual. In early mapping, I got 2 divs in uninvested ritual and I only came across them a handful of times. Also, 6 links and generally better stuff. Also not to mention, seriously juicing rituals can print mirrors probably even better than sanctum. I still don't do it, cause you need to massively invest and be prepared to take a loss but ritual even at base is still better imo (with the very real potential of literally printing mirrors). Did a dozen or so ultimatums to 10 in t16's and I was really unimpressed. I wasn't heavily specced or anything but still, it feels bad. It really could use a revision. Again, maybe I just didn't give it enough time, but like, sanctum came back and you knew after just 1 run, it was great. It's just sad, cause I really wanted to mess with that mechanic on league start, but got quickly underwhelmed.
I think a specific ultimatum build that can handle all modifiers so you can take up to 13 levels would be the way to go. Some of those rewards can be insane if you can handle it. I also like doing this method because it requires 0 input and you just run in a circle for a few minutes. Not nearly as good as wisp juicing but a lot simpler.
Some mods are impossible and autobricks the 13 Ultimatum like the Limited Area one. Got it a bunch of times when I tried to farm 13 waves so had to remove it.
Well I can with my build. I have 90% dmg mitigation and 90% all res with 3k regen 5k health on my chieften build. I rarely die. The seals sell really good too and they drop almost every time
i can understand that they removed the loot drops from monsters in ultimatum (because of league mechanic) but they could have compensated that with better rewards. i ran it the moment the patch went live in standard and got 5 divines from a very early run. i think they nerfed it after i posted the picture in reddit.
raging dead and the lightning strike one are overtunned 90% max res all ele flask setup and CI+incadescent and they still chunk with no dmg mods on i dont understand lol. also does anyone know why inscribed ultimatums are 70c+ c each just at the minimum? is it just cause of challenges?
Looks like it has issues common woth blight - it stops you on tracks and requires full attention. On top it also requires quite a specific build to handle its mods, aside from blight encounters which are mostly about "stay aside and blast". And while being comparable to harvest in time investment - it doesnt scale with juicing mechanics. And it has less player agency, despite being about theme of "challenge of a choice", where sanctum seems to be more interesting.
Yeah, i can't really see where the choice hiding - because for me choice between leaving and keeping up is not a choice. Would be cool to have choice between two items, for example something like trash unique or 5 alchs)))
i have been running a lot of ultimatum in trade league as a boneshatter slayer, it got me all the way to a mageblood (+essence). the inscribed ultimatums are good money here because people buy them at 60-70c for the challenge. I also got a lot more of the higher catalysts than you, maybe its the quant on the maps which i run alched or the extra round from gilded scarabs which you probably do not have enough of in ssf. The boss was really unlucky for me though, got him only twice in ~150 ultimatums and the first one killed me. most notable drop was 2x i see brothers.
Perhaps the double corrupted rares you find in ultimatum are bricked uniques? It would make some sense in that case that they are corrupted items that are not well rolled. And thank you for doing all this work, and sharing it! As you say, wisps have overshadowed ultimatum so much that there is very little large scale information about them that I have seen!

By the time I had 17 tainted catalysts, I also had 70 prismatics and 480 intrinsic. Must have gotten lucky with prismatics and unlucky with boss spawns
I think you are right about the fact that the Ultimatum is fine (maybe with some adjustments to the rewards) but it is totally overshadowed by the league mechanic
I think this whole league is about "Overshadowing" everything, like literally, no one doing simulacrum in comparison to last leagues - people just abandon those farm strats for 2000000 div per hour bulsht we have this league.
My build is tanky as hell and I keep dying trying to complete ultimatum challenge. I fucking hate it. I don’t wanna log in anymore. Its rippy, unrewarding and unfun. I respect those who farms catalysts, hats off
The problem with this league is that everyone wants maximum possible rewards per min (Dopamine per second) and the wisps are actually way too busted right now and its insane to me GGG hasnt done a mid league chance to this since it is just ruining the economy for anyone who isnt, and its extra stupid because it only works with one specific league mechanic, otherwise the wisps just make rares into uber bosses and drop extra wisdom scrolls
By one specific league mechanic do you mean delirium, incursion, beyond, legion, harbinger, blight, breach, or abyss? Because its very good with any of those, even in isolation. If the rares are like Uber Bosses to you, I’d recommend staying in yellow maps- the only loot you’ll miss out on is Valdo’s Boxes.

a mechanic in a Arpg wich doesnt drop loot and xp from killing monsters is not fun! the fun part about Ulti was the loot explosion we had after finishing it! since they removed that completly it makes no sense in trade to just do one ultimatum!

can you give us an update about how chieftain compares to jugg or inq in ssf? does he feel tanky?
Jugg is definitvly more tanky. You can pretty easily get 150k+ ehp with 50k+ max hit against everything

Yesterday í did juice t14 map, corrupt with over 100quant. On round 10 í got t1 map😂. Not always better with later rounds.

I skip it without even thinking about the mechanic. It's shite
