I'm looking to get into New World, I'm a PVPer from way back, at first I thought you were just dodging and shooting but then I seen the abilities being used sequentially and it's like oh ok damn, the bow switching at 4:56 with the high DPI fps wiggle around your target was pretty entertaining, I really want to use a bow now.
@@happystash imma be honest man. it was an amazing game for the 2 years i played it, but it's unfortunately gone pretty downhill recently :/ they changed the movement system in season 5 and it's very clunky. alot of new bugs too with no pvp content :/ population is very very low atm so i'd possibly wait a little. it's not super beginner friendly. u cant rlly make money by pvping unless you're already a top pvper. so your only real choice to get money is to grind pve/lifeskilling or RMT gold :( i go over alot of the negatives in this video if you're interested th-cam.com/video/47STszM4nxI/w-d-xo.html

One of the few bow players I won’t tea bag when I kill. Though we hardly ever run into each other and I don’t think I win the straight 1v1. You just have the dodge timing down perfectly, it’s like waiting for you to mess up so I can eat
@@christophnewberry2429 with light gear you are low hp if i remember correctly i had around 8000 health but the mobility was amazing you do few hits then roll and when you are low hp use berserk ability that makes you invincible for few secs, i won many 3vs1 fights while everybody was playing meta heavy armor and big axe
I still play heavy melee and consistently get top ten. Most light players are not good. You on the other had pushed the skill ceiling for light. Good job.

Been seeing more people go back to Riposte over FnF. Also seeing a lot of Flurry around for more Rapier focused builds. What are your thoughts on Bow meta so far in S4? Also, no Rapid Shot? How come?
Rapid shot not that good for 1vX and 1v1s imo. best for wars when you're often focus firing people that aren't directly looking at you. Riposte is better for 1vX and group combat for survivability while FnF and flurry are more 1v1 focused skills. I'm personally not a fan of flurry at all but FnF has it's uses and is generally more "skillfull" to play around with

@@recks1313 competitive pvp is now dependent on turning off and on target lock for tech and using unlocked movement to cancel half the animations in the game. the average player wont notice a difference but pvp is ruined for any vet
@@DeityVengy while these things you listed are true, the game is far from ruined for a vet. I have 5k+ hours on this game and still 1vx just as you do in this video. Almost all, if not all people who utilize exploits or the aimlock are not good players. Even with all the bugs and exploits, the combat in this game is far superior to any other, allowing players with high skill to shine.

we've 1v1ed twice for fun with a center obstacle and ended it at 1-1 bow/rapier vs spear/rapier but that was a longggg time ago. back then we had 5 min+ fights so I'm sure neither of us would be able to kill each other now. if theres no center obstacle in the duel then i win

Defiently a aim assist going on camera movement changes when your aiming it starts to flicker to a opponent compared to none aiming which implies thats not your mouse doing the moving

i was a top player in both bdo and new world winning multiple tournaments and can rightfully claim that new world takes more skill. bdo is fotm class2win and ping2win and also has a huge hacking problem where a large percentage of top players use a paid speechack to boost their animation speed by 5-10% and also cause their characters to desync when CCed.

Have you ever dueled/fought a guy named xKrazyd or similar? I've seen him a few times in races and he just does not die. I think he uses spear/rapier.
