I love my pro r it's my first utv I've ever owned and first I've ever driven lol so I don't know how they were before but I know it's bedazz everyone keeps telling me to get a cage and switch out the a arms and trailing arms and I told them they are insane for thinking that I love the cage and arms and I'm glad to finally hear someone else say the same exact thing. I used to live right between the hammers and Baja but now I live next to sand hollow and it's also a amazing rock crawler. It's a jack of all trades and I'm glad I waited instead of buying the 2022 can am x3 rc because side by side there is no comparison. I have 35zillas on myn and your right it feels like the car was supposed to come with them it feels WAY BETTER all round. Great video and beautiful ultimate man it looks sharp love the wheels.
Good detailed review. Nice to see the next evolution of the utv but they are definitely getting crazy expensive. Looking forward to what Can-Am has in store for the 24 model as I'm thinking they will have a response with a turbo motor, which I prefer for elevation.
I owned 6 utv’s. Most recently a 2022 turbo rr x3 smart shock. And now a 4 seat pro r ultimate. Comparing the 2 head to head. The x3 is quicker in a drag , and rides more plush in comfort mode. The pro r has amazing brakes , great in the whoops , and torque in the low end. The x3 had crappy belts and horrible in the whoops. The pro r is the next level/ generation of utv’s. The 2 door pro r cage is not bad. But my 4 seat cage is ugly. I feel like I am in a jungle gym in my 4 seater. Getting a custom cage built now. And regarding the power steering. I feel the power steering is overpowered on thr R. On the x3 I could adjust it myself. I felt a bit nervous with how the power steering was a little loose for me.
I agree with the gas tank size! And the motor is good but could still use more power for the dunes, there is something funny with the throttle too… it’s small but I wish it was quicker, seems like doesn’t let off as fast as my foot. Drive by wire life, but hopefully the aftermarket comes through with a cable operated throttle or a tune/ pedal commander that makes it more realistic feeling I guess… overall I love my pro r ultimate thou. Great review man👍👍
I think I'm going to go with the cagewrx spare tire carrier it just came out I've used it their products before on my turbos and I like them. They're very high quality and it allows you to keep your storage boxes or fuel underneath 😎👍
Have you fixed the bracket that vibrates on the CVR cover? Seems like a thoughtful design in a lot of ways, if they have solved belt/heat issues with the larger belt system, you shouldn’t need to have such quick access to that area, so that’s good. Often wondered why the last gen machines are using the smaller CVT and belt, when it’s always been clear they are undersized even at stock power levels, let alone aggressive driving and higher HP. Hope to see more in-depth details here.
Yes I did fix that bracket and that help with some of the noise. I also think there's some stuff underneath the truck bed that is vibrating which I'm going to address. thanks for the comment😎👍
just turn up the tunes. I used a rubber window moulding between the aluminum bracket and the clutch case. Also under the bedcover used 4 tapscrews to bolt the bed to the frame. So its not just floating on it. I think with the 4 cylinder your going to get harmonics either way
I'm contemplating a Pro-R, hard to find and get one w/o ordering. What sort of radio/communication does the Ultimate come with - do you still need to go with a Rugged Radio setup?
Yes I put in a rugged radio setup and it worked great but I forgot to use a grounding strap and also wire it directly to my battery so it was a little fuzzy in my videos
@@pmutah Okay cool, for some reason I thought Polaris was offering something pre-installed into the Ride Command now. Nothing against the Rugged, but a bit of time to keep the noise to a minimum
I just ordered the Sena headsets and they are suppose to be compatible with the ride command and automatically turn down the music volume and work with all functions. I’ll let u guys know when I receive them.
@@Aba199-c9b the belt on the ProAir works extremely good. You do need to do some work on the primary clutch. The inside clutch sheave needs to be replaced with a billet part. And then the transmission clutching are pretty much bulletproof
The Walker Evans are very comfortable and they are a decent shock. but if you like to go on crazy harsh terrain I like the fox shocks better with Dynamix😎👍
@@pmutah that’s the machine I really want .it’s out of my budget.I ride in pa and West Virginia I can rarely get to 60 mph for more then a few minutes .there is not enough room to enjoy that buggy where we ride
The sound of the engine is terrible compared to the turbo machines. The X3 has such a low tone when you fire it up then when you get on it you hear it scream and pop when you let off. This machine is next level in the suspension but they should have still added a turbo needs more power for this weight.
Mike it blew me away in the desert. those were my thoughts on it I'm super impressed and it's going to be hard to drivr anything else after spending a thousand miles in the pro r.

Great review!! I’m thinking about getting the Turbo R. How did your buddies Turbo R do out there and what’s your thought about It?
I'm really impressed with mine to great machine for sure
My brake pressure switch went out on it, typical RZR issue. With dynamix its definitely something that needs to be addressed
Interesting I will take a look at that on my pro r 😎👍

What trim level did you get
@@skeim5620 I ordered the Pro R Ultimate
So watched another video and a bracket above the clutch cover bracket was loose for them.
Great review. You've packed on the beef though bruv!
Thanks for watching Dan. yeah it's probably time for a diet😆🤦
What are your thoughts on a spare tire? Did you carry one on the machine in Baja? Thanks for the review!

Great video, what toyo tires are they? Just sold my turbo s and got a pro r.
Their Toyo Open country 35 inch sxs tires 😎👍
give a review when you get 10,000 miles on it please
Thank you for that! Well done! Time to pony up I guess!
Do it you won't regret it it's a great machine 😎👍
Brandon how tall are you. Im about 6ft tall 260 and think they are tight . Did you do any modifications to the seating position.
I'm 6,3 275 I fit in it great there is some adjustments on the stock seat to get it lower😎👍

Gotta say, only hear two cons there. Are we just too excited at the moment not to talk about the cons or does it really that flawless?
