    I forget where I saw this but a young man said he showed his grandma at Christmas time his modular rig. She said that’s interesting but can you play a real song! Lol, he was crushed! Great job! I love spaghetti!!!

    Clear and entertaining explanations on how to achieve a pleasant sound with Eurorack. There are too few channels in my opinion that give extensive hands-on, useful for beginners like me. Liked and subscribed.

    Excellent demo! I got a few of these Behringer system 100 modules and a Cre8audio NiftyKeyz for my first (and only so far) Eurorack rig. They work great!

    very good...
    further more you can transpose the 4 step-sequence with slow LFO at the mod-Input of VCO with very slightly turning up the attenuator, as you do manual at 21:00.
    Does also function with a midi-Keyboard as it holds the voltage for some reason.

    Thanks, very helpful. I'm so tempted to buy these modules, but I'm still worried. These videos certainly help.

    Your jack insertion close-ups are making me laugh every time 😅
    I watched and liked all your System 100 demos! I own a full balanced System 100 set for over than 6 months now (it's 2x140, 2x182, 2x305 and 1x for all other modules). However, I think that the time I spent watching your videos is actually higher than the time I spent playing my own system so far 😸
    I agree that Behringer's System 100 modules are pretty handy when it comes to adding extra modulations and CV sources to each module because of its triple inputs with attenuators. It would be cool if they release some simple BBD and (spring?) reverb with similar design just to match the rest of the system. I know that there were no BBD or reverb in original 100M, but it would make the system much more self-sufficient. I think, almost everyone would agree that delay or reverb is a must-have for synthetic timbres.

      Yes indeed, I really never want to miss these effects. But I don't think that Behringer will extend the series any further, as that would mean they have to invent their own System 100m modules that weren't available in the original. Btw. the 172 module offers an audio delay, not quite intended to be used in a classic echo config, but still it's a BBD.

    Superb. I really like the sound of the System 100, and what you do with it.
    That outro was starting to remind me of La Chasse Aux Microbes by Michael Bundt off his 1977 Just Landed Cosmic Kid album. Something about the sound and the sequence pattern just hinted at something similar.

    I really enjoy your System 100 and 2500 video too, thank you for making these and sharing such good information. In this video, I notice you are using the 297 module for mixing audio. As I understood it this is DC Coupled CV mixer and wanted to ask if there is any issue in mixing Audio or AC Coupled output?

    • @synthesizer83
      @synthesizer83  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is fine, the DC mixer in the 297 is bipolar in the +/- 10V range. Usually DC mixers work for audio and cv, while AC mixers only work for audio.

      @@synthesizer83 that's what I thought, but thank you for clarifying. I am finding the 297 a very useful module, mixing CV or Audio, it's a great tool

    I'm kinda new to modular. What is the controller you are using?

    • @synthesizer83

      I use an old Arturia Keystep and a few sequencers, the Korg SQ1 is probably the best for the start.

    And for the cost you can get a 4 voice polyphonic analogue synth

    • @synthesizer83
      @synthesizer83  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah but that's true for all modular systems and series, and with most of them you get much less for the bucks - at least in terms of quantity.
