Took my wife on her 1st cruise the Liberty and now the Freedom. Ships are similar but hoping she will still have a blast.
I feel like the Freedom actually has more venues so I personally like it more even if the funnel is missing. Hope you two enjoy your cruise, if you have any questions feel free to ask!

@@BoatBreakersNJ I have been on the breeze a few weeks ago, and the sensation some years ago. Do you think this one is better? It definitely looks like it gives you more options of bars and time.
I do think it's slightly better, however I was on a Fourth of July cruise sooo everyone was there to have a good time and I took full advantage of my Cheers package ☺️

Very nostalgic watching this as Freedom was the first ship I went on back in 2012, and there's been some updates to it since! I believe Club O2 was where Red Frog Pub now is haha

That’s a great video idea! Off the top of my head I’d say a fan and an extension cord for this ship specifically. It has a dryer built into the room but it wasn’t the strongest. If you have any specific questions let me know!

We sail on the Freedom the 1st week of December. Having sailed on both the Valor and the Liberty, the Freedom looks very similar. I love the decor of the Habana Bar. I do sort of wish Habana Bar was the "Havana Bar" like on the Carnival Sunshine. I gather the Habana Bar is the equivalent of the Stage Bar on Liberty.
Hey River Pirate (love the name), yes you would be correct it’s the same thing as the Stage Bar just some different decor. I was excited when I heard someone say Habana bar thinking it was the fun Latin cocktail bar but no dice 🙃
@@BoatBreakersNJ Thanks mate! Im a Pirate of St Augustine so usually wear my Pirate garb (or partially) on our cruises while on board. Lol! My wife likes karaoke so I know we will end up in the Habana Bar at least once! Thanks for doing this video mate, gives me a good idea what to expect on the Freedom.

Amazing video, this might potentially be our first cruise next summer! Also, was there a restaurant called “Tandoor” on the ship? According to some websites that Indian restaurant is on this ship as well as a couple other carnival cruise’s.
There’s typically Indian food in the buffet daily but a dedicated restaurant is only on the carnival splendor!

Heyyy ☺️ I don't want to set the wrong expectations but you make it what it is!! As per some of our recent comments on this video, there is a pretty bad sewer smell in some areas of the ship. Other than that, everyone loves the ship! Go see our Favorite bartender Eka! He's the man 🥂
@Boat Breakers we intend to make the best, but a big downfall is there is no pool on Serenity deck, Mardi Gras had one. Which bar is Eka at?
Oh yes!! It will be a great time regardless, I feel your energy. I'm not sure what the bars name is, but it was on Lido at the rear of ship right in front of the Pizza Pirate ☺️ Tell em Pete & Kyle sent ya 🥂

Of course, we did a day pass at the RIU in Nassau! You can google it, but all you can drink all you can eat with great pools and beaches I think it was $115 per person but we thought it was worth it.

It looks like it has more public space compare to Sunrise. Was there a bar on the starboard side of Deck 10 (opposite the smoking section?)
Hey John, there is no bar on Deck 10. The closest would be the one on Deck 9 aft.
that bar that you were not sure about was originally a Sushi bar when the ship first came out, then became the Taste bar (samplers from specialty restaurants). Both of those have been eliminated. for Sushi as we now know is Bonsai Sushi ($).

Pete went on the paradise a few years ago and really liked it! The smaller ships are intimate and you usually get better service !

No pool on serenity deck for adults?
Hey Iscohrs, that would be correct serenity does not have a pool on the Freedom, they do have hot tubs on deck 14.
Will be on the Freedom from September 7th to end in Barcelona and then the return trip arriving on November 6th. Is there a secret area around the theatre? Loved it on the Splendor.

Honestly for the price you pay, still a good value cruise.
Just came off the ship yesterday ..let me be honest..
1.place your bets in casino either 1st or last day.
2..food suks if u ask me nothing taste real..from drinks to food.
3.sumthing is up with the alcohol.i drank all nite and still was able to do backflips 2 nips from the corner r stronger..
4.the excursions r pricey..but it was a great time..
5.they up charge everything from room service to drinks ...it can get expensive fast..
6..it's hard for late nite couples to have time cus everything except pizza that u wait for for like 3hrs is closed no hottubes no pool just casino which u will leave crying is closed at 11.12 ...
....other than that enjoy.tell me what u think if u been on this ship....
Liberty & Freedom are sister ships. Looks like Freedom is the more updated of the two.. what do u think was the biggest difference?
Honestly the red frog pub was a big difference, other than that pretty much identical food and layout wise

hello! i’m at the age where i’m too old for the kids activities and a year too young for the adult activities and was wondering what your recommendations are for people my age
If you’re under 21 I do know exceptions are made to get into clubs 02. There’s also plenty of activities on the daily itinerary for all ages.

Probably not a priority because they’d have to take her out of service, might never get fixed.
Is the freedom a better ship than the Sunshine out of Charleston?
Everything is subjective but I think the sunshine has more new features than the freedom.

Carnival definitely is the best for this! They have a bunch of teen and kid clubs all the way up to 17 yrs old! They will have a blast!
