I'm 99% certain that we will get another new Pokemon that we have yet to see, even if it's exclusive to the Indigo Disk similar to Glastrier and Spectrier
Something I think people miss a lot, the original regi trio are very likely to be made of arceus plates since in Legends Arceus we unlock the temple using the plates, while in Diamond and Pearl we unlock it using the regi trio.
I really love this idea of all regions being once a giant pokémon, but I'm kinda scared that it might end Pokémon's core series faster than never alive regions.

Ok, so, Imagine this: you casually start a battle with, say, an aipom, and miss your pokeball. Your face turns from calm, to terrified as the island you currently stand on quickly recessed into your pokeball, plumitimg you and everyone else into the vast ocean it used to lay on, chances are this ball will never be seen again. But, congratulations, Kalos was caught!
I finally finished TotK, so I caught up on your zelda theories yesterday, and now a pokemon theory today, I love it! Top notch as always, love your content, man!
There's one thing these type of videos seemingly choose to ignore and that is the fact that NONE of the games lore is connected to one another in the games themselves. There's references sure but that's about it
I'm really curious to see in what world NONE of the games' lore connect to one another without outside sources. NPCs directly mentions other regions and other NPC by names through in-game dialogues. You have canonical siblings living in different regions talking to you about each others. You have long-distance friends telling you how the other's inventions or improvements are/were revolutionary. You have games canonically happening simultaneously with each other through news announcements. I mean, the whole Team Rocket plot and your rival's motives in Gen 2 are directly ties to the events of Gen 1.
I feel like it’s worth pointing out that the lore of the creation myth implies that Mount Coronet was the very first part of the world ever created, before the Giants appeared… which is why Arceus’s Hall of Origin can only be found above it. So, I would doubt the possibility of it being part of a defeated Giant.
I absolutely adore how you put effort into these and the overall quality to them. Honestly its so refreshing after seeing daily videos from other youtubers of supposed "leaks" - they're tiring. You really elegantly explain your theories!
In support of this theory. Considering that the name Terapagos is obviously a portmanteau of terrapin (and tera type) with Galapagos I've always thought Ogrepon was a portmanteau of Ogre and Nippon, Nippon being the Japanese word for Japan. So they may both be named after a landmass that inspired the location they represent
I was just thinking the same. The regions are basically Titans. And their bodies create life, people and Pokémon. Also Kind of an interesting parallel between Pokémon and Trainer, with Driver and Blade. 🤔 The games are becoming more open world. When can I start slashing Pokémon with a sword? 🤣
I can't believe it's taken this long for someone to do a video on this. It's so obvious in the trailer and then no one mentioned it at all. I was flabbergasted.
There was an episode of Pokemon where we did in fact see not 1 but 2 Pokemon that were the size of a small mountain. It was a Gengar and Jigglypuff. So it's not entirely out of the question that this could be true.
I pointed out the connection between the 6 Regi- Titans AND the "Giant's" locations in Galar on another Toby video. It's a strange connection/coincidence to be sure...
Mainland Galar: • Giant's Seat - The Giant Rock Spire • Giant's Mirror - The Lake with a Rock Spire • Giant's Cap - The Rock Dome The Crown Tundra: • Giant's Bed - The Den of Regigigas appears here • Giant's Foot - The Old Cemetery (I actually thought there were 6 "Giant's" locations. There's ONLY 5 of them. 4 of them have objects that identify them, the Bed ONLY has the Den where Regigigas appears.)
Personally, I’m not convinced at all of the “region-sized giants” theory, not for Galar and not for Paldea. It seems way too fantastical with not nearly enough evidence to support it. As for the mountain in the DLC, it’s probably just a mountain. I feel like there are similar mountains in other franchises, maybe Zelda?
I have a theory that Kitakame is the location of the Sinjo ruins, or at least near it. This also works with Toby's theory that next up is a Jhoto remake.
I like to think of this theory, like "Pokemon regions are like the Boiling Isles of The Owl House" where the whole place was once a Titan that felled, and now gives life to many creatures
Kinda reminds me of the origin story of kaiju where they ruled before dinosaurs existed when there was a lot of radiation being produced around pretty much the whole world
I had the perfect idea: hear me out.... sinjoh ruins isnt just a sub-area of the johto region up north... its part of a different region, where there are long-forgotten pokemon that are evolutions and descendants of many johto and sinnoh pokemon...
What if the Regies are the hearts of the giants and after one of the giants fell regiesgigas made a regie out of the heart to help him make the reigns kind of what lockston did with his regie fakemon
Despite all of the Gen 5 / Unova rumours... I still think this all ties back to the Kanto region. Liko in the Horizons Anime is now confirmed in English to go to the Indigo Academy in Kanto, The Indigo League is in Kanto, I agree that we are heading back down south in the pokemon world. Not only that in the Japanese anime and games, Kyogres Blue orb was called the Indigo Orb. Another item from down south. Perhaps the indigo disk has ties?
Obviously, the mountain is Giganta Primal Regigrassi... Taropagos is Giganta Primal Regiaqua/Regilantis And a certain volcano is Giganta Primal Regicrago/ Regicano I've told lumiose before, that the Galar region IS the knight/king statue... with its Crown, Armour, Sword, Shield... note, the Crown being on the bottom, and galar being upside down from the actual version. Rotom aren't naturally there... just like the mysterious machines you buy... they are from the time space rifts... a natural hisui rotom would be like the Willow wisps that... go... into... a keystone... wait, has anyone ever done that theory? What if the beta pre evo litwick flame is like a Primal Rotom? What if you forced 108 rotom into the same machine?😮
Interesting theory and a nice video! Really gets you thinking. How would Groudon and Kyorge fit in? It is said that they created and control land and sea, respectively. Are they just manipulating the remains of these fallen pokemon? Do they create or destroy land/sea?
The time from which they were born is a primordial era when primal energy flowed. If primal energy is the energy of these giants than perhaps they expanded the sea and earth around thier fallen bodies. Unsure atm
Gamefreak is planning something big I theorize I think recently they are testing the waters by removing features and re-introducing them with each game they release testing seeing if the fanbase likes or doesn’t like some thing and then I think they’re going to make the ultimate Pokémon game. Everything is coming together they’re planning something big they have so many stories that they look like they’re revisiting they’re setting something up huge maybe we should back off and just let them cook!

@@BirdKeeperToby planning another fakemon region or theories on what region that gen 10 would be based on so far 3 Europe based regions 2 USA based regions and 4 japan based regions
This theory is really interesting and I could see it even as true at it's very core, given Pokémon draws inspiration from real world legends and lore. What you secribed with Arceus felling the giants of the past and thus creating the world humans inhibit ties to greek mythology and how Zeus felled the titans and thus made a world in which humans live and thrive possible. It also connects Arceus (who has "Zeus" in it's name) to the christian God in thus it was - lore- and history-wise - once one under many and rose to power by somehow defeating other gods. And before christians roast me in the comments: That is EXACTLY what happens when Moses tries to convince the pharao to let his people go. Look it up. 2 Mos 7,20. Back on track: This would make Arceus not the first being, with the whatever giants preceeding it. Just how the greek gods where born from the titans. Pokémon wandered deep into religious territory with Legends: Arceus especially and I would love to see them play it out in the future. This generation definitly has some potential. Edit: About Rotom: It's not technically advanced. Rotom is sentient electrict energy, just because it can possess technical devices easily dosn't make it unnatural oder technically advanced in any way. Electricity is a natural phenomenon almost as old as earth itself. Harnessing that energy was a technical advancement, not it's mere existence (which would be Rotom). The real odd Pokémon in the Highlands is Magnezone, which is somewhat man-made and tied to younger times, as shown with it's pre-evolutions only existing in the distortions.
My prediction is that the Ogre Mountain Pokemon in Kitsukami will rise out of the ground or something during the story (being a threat), and Terapagos will get bigger and to its final form, maybe being under Paldea/rising from Paldea in some way, and the two giant Pokémon/Titans fighting in the ocean while ur on the side of good and commanding giant Terapagos in this Pokémon battle. This would make a great finale
