I liked each layer as a finished piece. Meaning I loved the first layer by itself and could have stopped with that, and could have hung it as finished. Same with the two next layers.
Hello Sharon, thanks for the thought. If I do that the plate will no longer stick to the printing table. Having it stick to the printing bed is critical for accurate registration especially in large format printing.
generally I pick opposing colors on the color wheel for maximum effect. i.e. red vs blue, green vs orange, black vs white, etc. I find that talking about it is a waste of time as compared to doing hands on actual art making. Experiment!
Nice I love this. Great idea with blown up QR code and blown up lettering. When you print those off does the ink from printer bleed? Or what type of printer do you use? Laser? Or ink jet? Mine is ink jet and the ink bleeds as I gluethe collage pieces down.
I have a cheap b/w laser printer which uses toner, an ultra fine carbon powder. Ink jets use liquid ink which can smear when wet. This is not necessarily a bad thing if you want watercolor effects.
I ❤like the paint over the collage pieces, pushes them back a little.
Another wonderful video. Just incredibly inspiring. Thank you again..
Quite a transformation. It has helped me to decide what to do next with my current print!
Just amazing! ❤️👏👏👏❤️

Thanks so much!
That is absolutely stunning, LOVE the color combination ❤
Pretty Cool! 👏💙💛❤
Thanks !
Love this
Yes, I like it too. Great you added a layer on top of the collage. It makes it very interesting and unifies the work !!
You could use your cheat sheet when removing all the stencils to make sure you get them all! Love your work and its complexity.
Thanks so much!
Spectacular
Thanks so much!
I lovethe formula; print-collage-mask print. I will try it, and see what theme I can choose and what shapes I can come up with.
love it! Surprising result - a pleasant one!
Stunning!
You are so creative. Love that you are experimenting with colors, shapes, and contrasts.
Thanks so much!
Love this experiment! Can't wait to try Collage + Print! Yours certainly worked. Thanks as always!
More of this coming, stay tuned!
Fabulous work 👍🏻
Such good instruction! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Love it.
Thanks so much!
Though you could then slide the cheat sheet back out and let the plate stick again. But maybe it is not a big deal the way you did it
Since your plate is transparent, you could put your guide under it. Might be easier to place pieces.

would you please talk more about how you choose your colors.

Where do you buy the acetate sheets you use for a cheat sheet. Love this idea I want to try this technique.
They come with the gelli plate package, but if you need more you can find them at any art supply, or Amazon.

Waw!!!!
As always, it looks great. Do you ever make a mistake or something you really don’t like?
Ha ha! I make mistakes all the time! But when I do I find ways to "fix" them. th-cam.com/video/bX-oxZ__a8Y/w-d-xo.html
Interesting ... Is this collage/print process a type of Chine colle?
Yes, if you want to call it that. I find the term very eurocentric.
