hello Erika, (I rarerly leave comments on videos), but I wanted to say that you are one of the few youtubers that I get so excited about their new videos.. like I run and watch them hahah Thanks for sharing your thoughts. As a 20something year old myself, I truly relate:)
Would 175 of us who liked this comment pay on average €10 per month to keep her videos going? I hope so! Then combine that with sponsorship and once off type payments to get up to 3-4k per month and it could be viable
Traveling is like MSG. It intensifies the flavour of your life. So if you are little bit depressed then it makes you more depressed. Or if you are happy, it makes you more happy.
This video perfectly sums up what being in your 20s feels like. Everyone I know is at a different stage with different priorities. I don't know where I belong, where I want to live or what exactly I want to do. But I do know I want to see the world. I'm yet to find a place that I think I will settle down in, but I think that's okay. I have time. You are a very big inspiration to me and I think knowing when it is time to move back home for a while is such a brave thing (that I have had to do before as well). I wish you the best of luck on your self discovery journey and I hope your future travels go well!
Hello Erika, So sorry that Germany is loosing you and that your job didn’t work out. Thanks so much for sharing your struggles with us. I’m keeping my fingers crossed… and hope that Germany can offer you the future you are looking for 😉 In the meantime, I look forward to hearing about wherever your journey takes you.
This is perfect. The experience, the emotions and the look of your videos. Especially because you're sharing what seems to be your personal thoughts which makes it intimate. Please keep making these videos.
This video was truly moving and felt so real. Finding a purpose in life is such a challenge, and even when you think you’ve found it, there’s always that uncertainty about whether it’s the right one. I guess a good approach is simply to try and do at least one thing each day that brings a bit of joy to the soul.
And she is being herself. She is not being fake and over the top youtubers that shout in every single video, while giving you a creepy fake smile. That is why I enjoy her videos, she has a calm demeanor and she is real with her audience.
This feels so real, and I think it strikes close to heart for a lot of people in their 20s. I don't know who I am, who I wanna be, where I wanna live, what I wanna do, and it's nice seeing that I'm not alone in this. Hope you're doing okay and that the process of finding yourself isn't stopping you from being happy, because that's what really matters. Thanks for this video, I don't think I've ever watched something closer to home.
i think realising that everyone is just dealing things day by day, is beautiful. and I agree that as long as you made choices that are true to you, you will be just fine
I am 23 years old. I left my home in Brazil at 17 to travel around the world, starting in Canada, then Spain, and later the UK. Now I've found myself in Tallinn. It can sometimes feel hard to find your purpose and your path. It took me six years of traveling, experiencing both good and bad times, to get here. I don’t know you personally, but in each video, I feel that you are genuine, which is becoming increasingly rare on the internet these days. I hope you find your way! P.S. I’ve traveled a lot to Riga and Sigulda-such an amazing country!
Mine is midlife. Going to every darn Christmas market beginning next week. What I love about you is your sense of humor, make sure that doesn't change. Good luck!
I love the mix of wholesome travel impressions and deep, existential dread rearing its head throughout the entire video. Judging by the rest of the comments, these 20-something-crisis-feelings are not uncommon, I definitely share them too. Jumping into the YT game full-time seems like an obvious choice for somebody in your position, but as a viewer I would much rather see the occasional video from you that you really enjoyed making, as opposed to a regular program of typical "traveler influencer" content. I'm glad for everything you put out. Watching your videos has encouraged me to take on more solo travel this year, just going to cities I've always wanted to visit and learning how to rely on myself a little bit more. Thanks for that! I hope that no matter what you do next, you'll have fun doing it. So have a good time on your next trip! If, after your public exile from Germany, you ever dare set foot in the capital of Niedersachsen again, I'll buy you a coffee. Take care.
Why people watch you is because you have a close to the ground personality. and great sense of humor. your videos are not scripted all the way through. it's all natural.
Hey Erika , as a fellow 20somethings person, just know it's common to feel that way and most of us go through the same. Your videos are honest and naked in a way that makes me wanna believe in people and travel the world. Take your time and keep posting your authentic Lifestyle. Much love ❤
Girl let me just say that you're not alone. And probably everybody is telling you that but I am feeling the exact same. Writing you this from my hostel somewhere in rainy Thailand, trying to escape my quarterlife crisis. I don't know what I'm doing. I've been feeling like this for about 5 months and I kind of tried to let go of the feeling that everything is perfect and controlable. I feel like only time can tell what we need ;-)
I really like your videos because they are not perfect, but very relatable. It feels like you tell the whole story - the good and the bad - and don't frame anything like other TH-camrs often do.
I’m sorry to see you’re moving again, hopefully we’ll see more blogs from Riga. Envious that you are considering being a travel vlogger/writer, even if it’s only part time. I hope what you are going through passes soon. You’ve got a special charm and humor you don’t see in yourself. I loved the Black Forest by the way. Wishing you the best of luck with whatever you do. But hope whatever it is, it’s in front of the camera because I very much enjoy watching your videos.
Your videos are so nice and give out a cozy vibe if it makes sense, also i think they're the most down to earth, feeling burned out is normal, sometimes you just gotta take some time to yourself. Figuring out what place you want to call home is a very important decision that's also very tough to work out so I'd say to take your time and dont overthink it. If youre drawn to big cities but at the same time the chaos of them seems like a little too much i recomend living far away from the city centre (but with a tram/metro line for conviniece). This is the conclusion that I've come to and honestly i think that its the best of both worlds.
9:16 those other dozen videos never got me soo hooked up that it's 2.30 AM and I still couldn't get enough of erika's beauty and the wholesomeness of her vlogs don't stop ok, that's all I gotta say, do whatever you'd love to do and just be yourself cuz you are Fking AMAZING!!! (you get that right?AMAAAZZZIING)..and don't overthink about so many thingss man, idk if i should be telling you cuz im just a 17 yr old myself, but i heard somewhere that everybody has their own pace, their own life and their own story yk, while we may think that they've got everything figured out and we havent..sometimes it's NOT, cuz the grass is always greener on the other side yk..nvm, just stay relaxed..dont force anything and hope you have a great day/night/weekend/whatever idk. (+ i Loooovvee your videos and im literally liking all of them)
Hello Erika, let me give you the cheat code. You are incredibly charming. People are drawn to you, doesn't really matter what you're making a video about. You are your own secret weapon.
Erika, thank you so much for being this honest on your videos. It's crazy to think how much I can empathize with how you feel, even though we live complely different lives. That's what always makes me come back to your channel. Thanks for uploading this lovely video, greetings from Argentina ☺️🇦🇷
Im 30 yo from Chile, and even though we are so far away, it's incredible how exactly similar your worries and conclusions are to mine in the last weeks. That only proves how true it is. Everybody is going through their own struggles, and trying to enjoy life and its experiences in the best way possible. That IS the beauty of it. I hope this new chapter in your life helps you find ways to accept and embrace that search. Pretty sure I'm finally getting better at it :) Ps. I really love your videos and cool style! Traveling content creator or not, you do an amazing job 👌😊
Hello dear Erika ❤ I hope you know we enjoy watching your videos no matter the content. People connect with you easily! You have an unique personality, always very clever and funny without forcing it. I trully believe your channel is underated! It should be way bigger than it is, but it will be in the right time. I felt the same way when I was your age (I’m 35 now) - it did took me a while to find out my place in this world and I still always keep my heart and mind open to discover new things about myself and my aspirations in life. Don’t be scared! It will get better, I promise! 🙏🏻 Best wishes from Brazil 🇧🇷
I watch a lotta youtube and I mostly dont even like what i watch , but you're stuff is like the goodold youtube that i miss , its REAL , please continue.
I just want to say, your videos are incredibly helpful and inspiring. They made me have a sprinkle of hope to move away from my asean country for a better and fuller life.
You are a very promising content creator. I like your vision and your storytelling. I would love to see the world through your eyes. If you change your backpack and shoes, your trip can be less tiring. Good quality, lightweight hiking backpacks and running shoes are much more comfortable.
It's a blessing to go home and regroup! Living on your own is expensive. If I was a young person, I would happily live at home. Promarily because I could travel and save! You're blessed while you figure it out. I loved living in Southern Bavaria. I hope while going through you're content I'll see my old stomping ground Nuremburg.
You're such a wonderful human being! I used to think that people around me have it all figured out as well. It's weird how others think the same about me, and im sure a lot of people think the same about you. Taking a break to smell the flowers helps. What you're doing will help you get the answers you seek, I promise you.
This video could not have come at a better time! I’m from a farm in Australia and have always wanted to travel and live in Europe. Well I finally did it, and after 2 months on the road, I was absolutely exhausted. My dream of being able to travel for long periods of time didn’t seem realistic anymore. After settling into the Netherlands for the foreseeable future, life has become comfortable (while newly exciting) again. Also, you partly inspired me to move here so thanks! It’s a great place to live so far. This has been one of your best videos, you’re so genuine in it and that’s not common for TH-camrs these days! Looking forward to future videos!
Finding all answers will never satisfy! It would be boring. I think struggeling, feeling stuck, is part of the journey. Just do what feels good for you, dont try to fit in. just be yourself and enjoy EVERY part of the journey. Even the bad parts will help you to find yourself!
I really like to watch your videos and find out about you interests and views on things. Because you're one of the few youtubers that come across so authentic. Your videos are full of personality and your individual style, your humor is also a big part of that. So whatever you decide to do, I just hope you'll be happy and that there will be occasions you decide to record some snippets for us.
Come visit North America. From Mexico to Canada it is super, very interesting and often beautiful and then you'll see how life is 100x better in Europe for someone with your life values and then be grateful forever
gosh i wish i can also visit those pretty places like you do. but soon!!! Cheer up erika. i'm also the same age as you (maybe the reason why you're my favorite vlogger haha) i finally moved out and got a place of my own for 4 months now. my life is literally going to work that i kinda hate, eating, sleeping and then waking up to go to work again. The feeling of being lost, and reviling myself for not achieving something great. fear of the unknown. ugh quarter-life is really a crisis haha! but erika, i really wish you well... and this travel vlog is 10/10 for me. not biased. not biased at all haha. it's absolutely ok to pause for a bit. we don't have to figure it all out for now. all the best.
Keep on keeping on Erica! Life finds a way (at least, I hope), we just got to live it, I guess. Thanks for inspiring me and making me realise that we don't have to have things figured out. The stress that comes with that hasn't taken me to very good places. And on the contrary, not thinking about my social life too much, and just enjoying it as I go feels much more pleasant. Safe travels!
erika, follow you since... last year! found you while looking for tips on Strasbourg i think... ? anyway, i travelled the world extensively, spending even a year traveling nonstop. and the tip to not feeling tired, of course, is to stay longer in each destination. 20 days to 2 months even? i know u have to make content and keep traveling but use a city as a base -as u are doing with your dad's and do small trips around making video about places around you . doesn't matter the place, what we like about your video is the way you write, your funny comments, the little things you enjoy seeing - the city is not really levant because you can get stone out of water, this is your talent. report on tiny places and make it fun just because you're so special. good travels! ps: take vitamins!
I really miss those times sometimes from when I was young when things wasn't as planned and fixed, as it is now. The times when work, the home and all the other commitments kept you staying in one place for a long period of time. When free time came and plans was made then and there and ended up being one of the best experiences of my life. Although I wish I travelled more, like you, because I was never at home anyway. Always crashing a friends couch or something like that. My goal was always, like your thoughts, to settle down and get a home for yourself, but looking back and seeing your video, I think you should know that there are people who have what you seek that are a bit envious of you and the "uncertain" life. It feels less unstuck and free. Loved watching your video with your personality shining through and the feeling/atmosphere it had. Subscribed straight away.
Wow, i am speachless, i mean it's not a lot but that's the type of content i miss on youtube, all the thoughts and interesting facts just by visiting some places and living live how it is. Hope you have a great future with this Channel Erika!
Hello Erika, well I didn't expect such a personal video ^^" I just wanted to comment on a couple things you've mentioned and offer what I feel like helped me. I think I mostly wanted to comment because you mentioned missing dancing. For me dancing has been one of the most important hobbies in life it's what I have been doing for a while now and I've always made sure to continue doing even when moving (in fact my last move was partially motivated by it). There's been times were I didn't do it for some time and I've always been incredibly happy to do it again! What I'm trying to express with this is that for me a place often felt right because of my (social) hobbies (not just dancing) and I think I could be comfortable in many cities (excluding "deal-breaker" ones ofc) as long as I have some weekly/bi-weekly activity. Maybe this can resonate with you too :) In regards to travel content creators: I think one needs to keep in mind that the ones that are big have the luxury to take time with their videos and travel plans - also it'd make traveling your job and personally I don't feel like you'd really want that, given what you expressed? (bit of a parasocial comment) Oh and lastly: I can always recommend going to therapy, even if you maybe don't feel like you're doing "bad enough" it can always be at least a helpful experience! Otherwise I hope you will find some arrangement you're happy with. I think the sad but also possibly positive reality will be that you won't find it by expressively looking for it, it'll more likely happen without you noticing. Anyways I wish you all the best and I'm looking forward to more of your videos! :)
What a nice video again, Erika! Cute and unique as always. Thank you for sharing your personal thougts and struggles. You're not the only one with these problems, I know those really well. Please keep doing videos! Wish you all the best. Greetings from Cologne. :)
love how open and real you are! i am also planning to leave germany and move back in with my mom for a while. it took me 1.5 years to find my new career path, but i am really happy i left my career to explore other possibilities. i felt stuck for a long time. good luck, and, in any event, i think a lot of us already consider you one of the best travel youtubers! :)
Hope you'll at least keep finding moments in your path that make you happy. I for one enjoy that I can share in the moments you care to share with us. Don't think anyone has ever said that life is easy, and really believed it themselves. The thing is that your own struggles always seem bigger than those of other people. Human nature I guess.
Heyho, so, i am new to your channel, just started to watch a few videos today, but from what i have seen til now, the german City of Freiburg im Breisgau might be something for you. Great for biking to work etc, easy to travel to, very friendly people, a nice calm city with amazing landscapes surrounding it, but still many things to do and new stuff to try.
I do love your videos, Very insightful and heartfelt. My mother was Latvian(from Liepaja) She had the same practical insights that I have noticed most Latvians have and love and appreciate that so much.
I LOVE watching your videos over all other travel videos. It's because you're just real. You always tell a great story that's just about you. You don't do cinematic, but that's what makes you awesome. 100% authentic you, and I love it! Keep doing what you're doing. We'll all be along for the ride, and thank you! 🙏❤
Hello Erika, I would like to say that your videos are so REAL I love your personality and your honesty about your feelings , that's why I would rather to watch your videos than any other cinematic Contant creators. You make me feel like you're my friend how shares her thoughts with me. And I always get so excited when you make a new video. Thank you for sharing your real thoughts and experiences with us. I wish you find happens and purpose in your life.
I know how you feel, it's hard to find ourselves and what we want to do, I live on my own as well and I am 34 and being always on my own can be tough at times, I am a foreigner in UK so yeah thanks for sharing this and being open with us about how it is to travel and to move about far away from home. I'm sure things will be better soon Erika, I'm certain you will find your own route and perhaps even a life companion you know. sending you a hug from here, stay strong girl!
I wouldn't be hard on yourself, this is an exploration of a possible new chapter in your life. I've always enjoyed your content, you have a natural way of communicating and very funny. You'll find what you want 🙌✨
Hello Erika, I really love your videos, I am planning to study in Europe and your videos make me really wanna go there. If you feel lonely, always remember there are people here who will always be with you. Never stop making these videos, Much love.
I understand the last part of your video so well. I always long for that one journey, but it’s likely that the journey won’t give me back what I expect from it: a feeling of completeness or clarity about my future.
Me and my Fiance recently went to Denmark for holidays. It was amazing. Very modern, clean and safe. People are open minded. Its expensive but I guess with a danish salary its alright. So maybe Copenhagen or Odense might be a good fit for you to live in :)
I feel like I'm in the same boat as you, I love watching your videos and I've decided to travel to Switzerland and Austria in the summer of 2025. I'm thinking about walking from Geneva to Vienna and streaming it, I hope you continue making videos as they are fun to watch and honest. I also hope to find what feels missing.
Wish you the best in your search. I always enjoy your videos. They always come across as low key and approachable and the rhythm of your delivery is a perfect match to your sense of humor. Plus, I also share your love of peanut butter. I honestly feel sad for those with peanut allergies.
Hello Erika, I don’t usually leave comments, but I really needed to this time. Cheer up! You are amazing and doing a great job. While finding ourselves can sometimes be challenging, it is perfectly possible to do it, even if we feel something is missing. I am reading a book which you might find useful, and I’d like to reference (cuote) one phrase: “What we really want, even with all the things we go after, is a sense of appreciation for who we are”. Book is called: 30 things to do when you turn 30. You have inspired me to travel 😊.
Indeed, I have been doing this myself a bit. Tomorrow I'm off to Bulgaria, doing a short trip through Greek Macedonia and North Macedonia. Next month, I'll find myself in Romania... And then I go back to Portugal. Been living in Estonia for 2 years. Got a lot of friends here, got into a medium-distance relationship with a Latvian girl... Moving back to Portugal will be a bit scary. Let's see where life takes me 👉👈
Hello Erika, your videos are so real and relatable, like chatting with a friend. Your mix of humor and honest reflections is inspiring. Thanks for sharing your journey-you’re one of a kind!
I think the hardest truth for me is that any place can become home once you stay there long enough. Even the gloomiest city ever. And yet after it becomes home you will still complain about it. It's just that way, this is always about getting used to and non stop minor annoyance about something, even after falling in love after years of struggle. And it's harder to get used to something not knowing the language, constant battle
I need to point out that I only visited Basel because of your video on it. I very much liked it and would definitely move there if the opportunity presents itself so, despite the city agency nagging, to me you did a great job promoting Basel.
Hi Erika! I'm not good at writing comments or giving compliments, but I want simply to say that I'm always waiting for your new videos. It feels cozy, peaceful and always giving me positive vibes. It feels like we are friends I don't know how to describe this feeling :))
hey Erika. of course this is because of your personality, not video quality, not places you visit and show in your travel vlog. I mean we watch your videos since we find you interesting and nice person. keep on keeping on!
Pressure of modern world and striving to achieve as much as possible in many fields, cause stress. Content creating - the quality one- is tough so navigating it will bring challenges. Anyway, keep being positive, energetic and with the excellent sence of humor we all know. Best wishes from mid of Germany
You know, I've gone through a similar crisis. I graduated last year and have been moving a lot for internships and jobs, and I am really craving a place to call home. I had to move back home the last couple months, and I'm moving again for another job, blah. The social aspect is rough, had a breakup and moving away from friends is always hard (I commend you on visiting them!). There is a bright side though! I'm applying for PhD programs and most of my friends will be around the same area (some even in the same field!), so I'll hopefully have them in the future. I wish you luck in getting through this period of your life :)
Here's the thing. It doesn't matter where you live. A house is a house. A country is a country. What makes a place your home (and you can see it in this very video) is finding love.
Moving through different countries made me realize that I get confused more and more where I do belong. There is a lot of pressure coming from the social media that you need to do something or you are already behind. Strange times…
This is only the 2nd video of yours that I've watched. I like the realness of your videos, so I've subscribed. In both of your videos, you come across as having a very Swedish vibe. I live in Sweden and love it here. At the beginning of your video, when you were wondering where to move to next, I thought she'd totally fit in Göteborg. Then you went there! Haha! I hope you liked it.
Our story could not have started more different if we tried yet we ended in the same emotional place. This video sounds like everything i want to say outloud if i had someone to say it outloud to. I am a retired 32 year old in the United States. But i'm going through a midlife crisis of not knowing what I want to do, where I want to do it, and so im just running away by traveling and hiking into the mountains. Yet I feel so exhausted doing these activities that once used to bring me joy and should bring me joy yet I come back home and crash out emotionally spent. I've watched a good amount of your content and usually for laughs or entertaining information type of way. But this video is my personal journal come to life. I keep thinking if I do a big travel in Europe for couple months or even a year, that'll rejuvenate me. See family, some extended friends, and so on. That'll bring me back to being happy but I think I would end up just feeling how you felt at the end of this video. How is it that we can't find purpose or definitive path?
Thanks for sharing Erica! I always recommend choosing the path of happiness! If making travel YT Videos don't make you happy take a break. We do enjoy them though! We’re Americans moving to Europe in January and one of the main reasons is to do something like this, travel around and experience all the cultures, countries, cuisines, etc. (once we have our residency sorted) Keep your head up!
Your videos are absolutely amazing and so entertaining! This one felt very real love it as I'm going through the same thing. No matter what you do its going to be great !
Just found your channel tonight, this being the 2nd video of yours I'm watching.... "I wonder if she'll go to Strasbourg? (a bit later) "Oh shit she did!". Glad you enjoyed it. I moved to Strasbourg earlier this year from Colorado in a bit of a (hopefully early) middle-ish life crisis (I'm 41). Now considering taking a job and moving to Copenhagen or perhaps returning to the US to spend more time with my parents in their retirement (a lot of mixed feelings there). Anyway, enjoyed the video! Best of luck in your journey!
Just want to say that I love your videos and they inspire me I hope one day I will be able to travel like you Like even though it’s exhausting it’s such a dream of mine So thank you for reminding me of the world of travelling ❤
Your videos are made for humans not profit and so it is difficult to make real money out of them,, but they are so good and i wish you'd only continue
she made me fell sorrythat i watched that video only once
real content from a real person instead of the 100000nth "only [verbing] [thing] in [place] for 24 hours" video.
hello Erika,
(I rarerly leave comments on videos), but I wanted to say that you are one of the few youtubers that I get so excited about their new videos.. like I run and watch them hahah
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. As a 20something year old myself, I truly relate:)
aww thank uu 🥺
Would 175 of us who liked this comment pay on average €10 per month to keep her videos going? I hope so! Then combine that with sponsorship and once off type payments to get up to 3-4k per month and it could be viable
As a 44 years old myself, I can relate as well 😂. Or at least makes me nostalgic. Been there. I wish I had these videos back then.
33 but similar opinion. Fell in love with her channel after watching her series of moving into to her german apartment
Traveling is like MSG. It intensifies the flavour of your life. So if you are little bit depressed then it makes you more depressed. Or if you are happy, it makes you more happy.
What a way of putting it forward😅
This video perfectly sums up what being in your 20s feels like. Everyone I know is at a different stage with different priorities. I don't know where I belong, where I want to live or what exactly I want to do. But I do know I want to see the world. I'm yet to find a place that I think I will settle down in, but I think that's okay. I have time. You are a very big inspiration to me and I think knowing when it is time to move back home for a while is such a brave thing (that I have had to do before as well). I wish you the best of luck on your self discovery journey and I hope your future travels go well!
yes 😮💨 exactly! And thank uuu
Thisss!
Hello Erika,
So sorry that Germany is loosing you and that your job didn’t work out. Thanks so much for sharing your struggles with us. I’m keeping my fingers crossed… and hope that Germany can offer you the future you are looking for 😉
In the meantime, I look forward to hearing about wherever your journey takes you.
This is perfect. The experience, the emotions and the look of your videos. Especially because you're sharing what seems to be your personal thoughts which makes it intimate. Please keep making these videos.
We all go through our phases, dont rush. Enjoy the moment. Even "wrong" decisions can turn to great adventures!
@@Donquixote56 that s true 🫶 thank u
This video was truly moving and felt so real. Finding a purpose in life is such a challenge, and even when you think you’ve found it, there’s always that uncertainty about whether it’s the right one. I guess a good approach is simply to try and do at least one thing each day that brings a bit of joy to the soul.
I would watch your Basel video over others because you are the host in the video, not some random other youtuber I don't care about.
Good luck!
The shots, the color, the snappy editing, the narration, the details. This channel is nice to have on while I make breakfast.
I fell in love with her content after watching her moving into her German apartment series.
It was exactly like this.
Hi Erika, the clip about basel is actually how I found your chanel. Keep going! You have your unique style.
You are the more realistic escapism type of channel I know of. Thank you Erika
I cried a bit at the end and this is rare. I wish you the best of luck.
9:16 those other dozen videos never got me soo hooked up that it's 2.30 AM and I still couldn't get enough of erika's beauty and the wholesomeness of her vlogs
don't stop ok, that's all I gotta say, do whatever you'd love to do and just be yourself cuz you are Fking AMAZING!!!
(+ i Loooovvee your videos and im literally liking all of them)
Erika your channel is authentic, with cool graphic design touches, I feel like that alone makes you stand out. You are being authentic to yourself!
Hello Erika, let me give you the cheat code. You are incredibly charming. People are drawn to you, doesn't really matter what you're making a video about. You are your own secret weapon.
she is really sweet🤗
Pretty sure I'm finally getting better at it :)
Ps. I really love your videos and cool style! Traveling content creator or not, you do an amazing job 👌😊
Hello dear Erika ❤
I hope you know we enjoy watching your videos no matter the content. 🙏🏻
Best wishes from Brazil 🇧🇷
I watch a lotta youtube and I mostly dont even like what i watch , but you're stuff is like the goodold youtube that i miss , its REAL , please continue.
I just want to say, your videos are incredibly helpful and inspiring. They made me have a sprinkle of hope to move away from my asean country for a better and fuller life.
I was in Riga for 1 week this August I loved it! Greetings from Sofia, Bulgaria Erika!
I mss Holland. Teared up a bit watching this. Keep exploring and soul searching. Maybe Portugal soon for pastel de nata?
Love watching your videos! You have such a great energy and personality.
So whatever you decide to do, I just hope you'll be happy and that there will be occasions you decide to record some snippets for us.
amazing video, the instrospectives perspectives of a person are always really cozy, keep on it, u’re doing great
Come visit North America. From Mexico to Canada it is super, very interesting and often beautiful and then you'll see how life is 100x better in Europe for someone with your life values and then be grateful forever
Your English is easily good enough to get many jobs.
gosh i wish i can also visit those pretty places like you do.
You're better at this than you give yourself credit for. Follow you're heart.
erika is a rare gem in this world of content. can't wait for more videos
Wow, i am speachless, i mean it's not a lot but that's the type of content i miss on youtube, all the thoughts and interesting facts just by visiting some places and living live how it is.
Hope you have a great future with this Channel Erika!
Hello Erika,
well I didn't expect such a personal video ^^"
I just wanted to comment on a couple things you've mentioned and offer what I feel like helped me.
Maybe this can resonate with you too :)
In regards to travel content creators: I think one needs to keep in mind that the ones that are big have the luxury to take time with their videos and travel plans - also it'd make traveling your job and personally I don't feel like you'd really want that, given what you expressed? (bit of a parasocial comment)
Oh and lastly: I can always recommend going to therapy, even if you maybe don't feel like you're doing "bad enough" it can always be at least a helpful experience!
Otherwise I hope you will find some arrangement you're happy with. I think the sad but also possibly positive reality will be that you won't find it by expressively looking for it, it'll more likely happen without you noticing.
Anyways I wish you all the best and I'm looking forward to more of your videos! :)
Erika is great. Looking forward to seeing whatever content you want to make at whatever pace suits you best.
What a nice video again, Erika! Cute and unique as always. Thank you for sharing your personal thougts and struggles. You're not the only one with these problems, I know those really well. Please keep doing videos! Wish you all the best. Greetings from Cologne. :)
Keep doing your great work Erika. A wisp of wonder a drop of charm.
Always welcome back here in The Netherlands, you should come check out Groningen!
Moi
love how open and real you are! i am also planning to leave germany and move back in with my mom for a while. it took me 1.5 years to find my new career path, but i am really happy i left my career to explore other possibilities. i felt stuck for a long time. good luck, and, in any event, i think a lot of us already consider you one of the best travel youtubers!
My God Erika, this is compelling stuff ❤️.
PS: that Fernando crossover is always a W😂🫡
I know how you feel, it's hard to find ourselves and what we want to do, I live on my own as well and I am 34 and being always on my own can be tough at times, I am a foreigner in UK so yeah thanks for sharing this and being open with us about how it is to travel and to move about far away from home. I'm sure things will be better soon Erika, I'm certain you will find your own route and perhaps even a life companion you know. sending you a hug from here, stay strong girl!
you'll make it, soon Erika. Sending you hugs and whising you the best, I love your videos! don't stop make them, pls
I'm a new viewer, but your videos are very entertaining. So I'm sure whatever you decide to do, it'll be worth watching.
I love how your videos made me realize that life isn't such thing as a race. It's something we should enjoy and figure it out along the way ;)
I understand the last part of your video so well.
Love your videos
Great video... Thank you for pixelating the cats bum hole! 😂
I'm Southamerican, and I moved to Asia after a lot of years living in Germany.. Best decision I made in my life..
Oh myy gosshhh erika i missed you!! good to know you're doing fine!!
Hope you had a great time in Poland or will have if this travel is coming. Poland has a variety of great pastries and cakes, so I hope you enjoy!
Pressure of modern world and striving to achieve as much as possible in many fields, cause stress. Content creating - the quality one- is tough so navigating it will bring challenges.
Anyway, keep being positive, energetic and with the excellent sence of humor we all know. Best wishes from mid of Germany
Lovely video - wishing you all the best on your journey and can't wait to watch more of your content! Keep doing you. ❤
It is the best beginning video! 😊 I feel like you start something more important, more meaningful for your future
Hi Erika, I wanted to wish you good luck on your journey in life and that I really enjoy your work
Thanks for sharing Erica! I always recommend choosing the path of happiness! If making travel YT Videos don't make you happy take a break.
We do enjoy them though!
We’re Americans moving to Europe in January and one of the main reasons is to do something like this, travel around and experience all the cultures, countries, cuisines, etc. (once we have our residency sorted)
Keep your head up!
I don’t have a specific reason, but you are my fav you tuber from the very first day! I guess I love your storytelling😅
Best of luck in your journey!
quarter life crisis is very relatable - best of luck with your journey
I love your videos! Best of luck as you move forward, you are doing great!
Just want to say that I love your videos and they inspire me
I hope one day I will be able to travel like you
Like even though it’s exhausting it’s such a dream of mine
So thank you for reminding me of the world of travelling ❤
