She is the one who searched Dark Pit to kill him just because he has Pandora's powers and when he reveals he isn't siding with anyone, she still wants to eliminate him. Even Pit said it: "he's not with the Underworld army, I don't have to fight him". And Palutena still doesn't change her point of view, saying he's wicked and destructive at the moment where Dark Pit's just attacking the people who chase him It's like he said "I want to be free" and Palutena gets angry saying "you dare to defy me?"
I think it's because she finds him as a threat, I mean have you seen all the accomplishment pit has and that's just him, him alone as her other angel aren't exactly.... you know.

But now this newcomer, who just helped take down Pandora a moment ago, suddenly turns around and attacks her angel *and* steals Pandora's powers. So now she has a rogue angel, with the power of limitless and (seemingly) unassisted flight, as well as all the skills with weapons that pit has. So while dark pit isn't allied with the underworld army, that doesn't mean he couldn't try and attack randomly during a mission (eg: the moon base). So palutena was in the right when she sent pit after him here.

So, it's probably not that Pit's wings don't "work right", but he lacks the power to fly himself and use the weapon he currently has at the same time, unlike Dark Pit, who absorbed the remainder of Pandora and her power.
I don't know much about it, but I think there's a conversation where Hades asks Pit why he can't fly and Palutena says that his wings don't work right, and Pit can only fly for five minutes with Palutena's help. Dark Pit can only fly after absorbing Pandora's powers, and I think the difference is that Pittoo took all of Pandora's power and energy so he can fly longer without his wings burning, whereas Palutena is only able to give Pit so much power and that's why he has a limit and a consequence
We really didn't get enough of Medusa's dialogue in this game. Her speculative demeanor, cunning attitude, and seductive behavior would have been interesting later on in the game.
I love the dialogue in this game at times. Literally I just imagine Palutena and Medusa just sitting together on a couch watching a TV broadcasting Pit and Dark Pit's fight and they're all just in a phone call. Parents cheering on their kids in battle. Palutena definitely drinking some Goddess wine and Medusa is just fed up with her drinking. Which is why they're fighting. Not really the story but that's how I love to view it.

If you ask me, Dark Pit is actually USING Viridi. He knows he can't fly by himself anymore, so he needs to get it from Viridi. That's the only reason Dark Pit's in the Forces of Nature. However, Dark Pit isn't exactly loyal to Viridi. Once he finds another way to fly by himself, I'm sure that Dark Pit will desert Viridi, and might even double-cross her.
