Massey also uses external lift cylinders vs internal which the Case uses. The external has a higher lift capacity. I love my Massey and don't want anything else.
The only question that I have is: "Have you ever bent or broken the parts that were different in the these measurements?" We have never bent a 3 pt lift arm or draw bar on a Case, Farmall, Massy or John Deer. These things are usually built tuff enough for any job that the tractor can do.
I think you could say that years ago when things were overbuilt you're correct they wouldn't break. Also if you're a weekend warrior or hobby farmer you're probably fine. However, yes I've seen plenty break on the 3 point style supported from only one side. You've given me a good idea to do a video of epic fails. Stay tuned!
I’m currently in the market and looking at the Massey 4707. Can you say what the actual width is? I can’t find it on any of the tractor specs websites and our local dealer doesn’t have any on hand to physically measure. The sales guy didn’t know when I asked. I just need to know if it will actually fit on our tilt trailer. Thanks in advance.
That spec can be hard to come by due to numerous tire options and spacing configs. We sell lots of them. At the narrowest setting they’re under 7’ for every tire combo we’ve sold but I haven’t sold them all. If I remember I’ll measure one in the am. We’ve got 8 or so on the lot. Thanks for watching.
Only complaint I’ve had is pulling a load at high road speeds and up hills. As far as in the field customers are pleased. Overall customers really like the 4707’s.
Great idea!!! I ran the build and price tool on both tractors this morning. The John Deere 5075E with standard cab, 1 remote, 4x4, power shuttle and 520M non self leveling loader came out to $70,700 To add Premium Cab(closer to Massey’s deluxe cab) and a second remote to the 5075E it’s another $6,000 The Massey 4707 with deluxe cab, FL3522 mid spec loader with soft ride, 2 remotes air ride seat etc is $71,870 And after all that the Massey is still 2500lbs of more tractor.
@@prequipmentsales thank you . I have owned 5 massey’s in my lifetime . the only negative is that their are not enough dealers in my state to even work on one, so i went kubota. it’s a fine tractor , but it is light on steel.
Well, of course I’m a Massey dealer so if it seems there’s a little bias it’s probably true. However, in this video, I’m literally just doing measurements from one tractor to the other trying to keep it as fair is absolutely possible. I tried to just stick to facts to keep my bias out of it.

Glad you're loving your Massey and thanks for watching.

I dream of owning 5711
We'd love to sell you one!
Poullugh?
My dream is to be able to afford a modern tractor ☺️ hopefully one day
Massey is way stouter!
Agreed. Thanks for watching!
but isnt the case like half the price?
No. In fact they’re basically neck and neck when optioned similarly. Now the 75A is cheaper but it ain’t half the tractor.
@@prequipmentsales didn't look at the models you are right
wrong comparison.Actually 4708 Vs Farmall 85C
That would be a completely different comparison which if we will do if the opportunity ever presents itself.
How?
Is the 4707 under powered for the size frame it’s on?

Yes
Why don’t he put the msrp on both of these tractors. That ferguson is 20000 dollars more
Great idea!!!

Oh and it’s worth mentioning the Massey sells thousands below MSRP so it’s not 70 anything.
Not biast at all 😂
