    Lumber is really really bad right now. Have to make do with farmpacks and my sawtable...
    As for the bench, it's very pretty, but lots of room lost for storage, innit?
    I'm building for a family of 5, so every inch counts. Love the design though, it's very cool.

      Every seat is open for storage underneath, I probably didn't need as much structure as I put in these guys but they are hearty and work well.

    This is awesome! I am a Pilates teacher and need to have space to teach virtual classes. We were thinking of how to make the sofa from modular chairs that we could separate & move around when I need to teach a class. Do you have plans or is there a way to get the plans for these?

    First love it. That is a great idea. The 2 middle sections…. how will you keep the entire section from sliding out while driving?

    • @AdventuresWithBoog
      @AdventuresWithBoog  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The cushions we built are like pushed tightly into place and have an MDF backing that holds the middle sections in while driving have driving about a 1000kms with no issues yet.

    Yes...lumber prices have gone through the roof! Any thoughts on keeping those middle sections on place while rattling down the road? Stuff goes flying on our bus when not anchored down!

      We will be added hinges to the corner boxes as well as magnets recessed in the top and the frame to hold the lid in place!

    Hey guys! Great design! For the "no-factory-edges" boards, make a quick tapering jig/sled to run it on your table saw tracks. This way, you'll be able to get one straight side and then get the rest parallel and square as needed. Cheers! 🙌

    I am curious to see how the table will work between the booth, how are you going to do that ?

    • @AdventuresWithBoog
      @AdventuresWithBoog  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The table will fold up and be stored on the opposite side of the bus under our extended counter. When we are using it it will be mounted to the wall and have a folding leg that supports it. When the table is in bed mode the table will hang on the edges of the couch and then the cushions across the table. We have yet to build the table but an update on the couch will be in an upcoming episode.

    The lumber you used to frame your interior walls, 2x3?? I am framing with 2x3 lumber, but am concerned about electrical outlets fitting...are 2x4s necessary to accommodate electrical boxes?

    • @AdventuresWithBoog
      @AdventuresWithBoog  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2x2 you can get slim fit electrical boxes they are hard to find but they do exist.

    • @gillardpetry7492

    Very nice couch area. I’ve never seen it done that way before but that is such a good idea. Where is your table going to go when you’re in couch mode?

    • @AdventuresWithBoog
      @AdventuresWithBoog  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The table well go against the wall underneath the bar style kitchen counter we have on the opposite side of the bus.
