Been keeping up with your videos! Love that you're showing the progression of your mods, including letting us know what works/doesn't work for you. Excited to see what new wheels you get if you go that route. If you do decide to get rid of them, I'm in Tampa with my 2022 IS350 and I'd be tempted in buying the Enkei wheels if I'm able to rid of my stocks lol
Bro, you have no idea how much your likes, comments, and views mean to me. I just want to bring you guys good content. Fun stuff that we can all learn from. You'll definitely see more in the upcoming videos. I'll hit you up when I do get the wheels. Again, many thanks.
if the vehicle curb ride height was never changed from the OEM setting. The 20mm spaces, would set the vehicle’s curb riding height just right?. What do you think about that statement.
Yeah, definitely. Makes sense. If the ride height was not changed, the camber would probably make it look like it was lowered send it to change the total length of the axle due to the spacers.
i have a 2022 is500 also on swift springs. I read other comments, and i don't understand by what you mean by saying "excessive camber"? doesn't the spacer just push the wheel out? or is it because the HUB is already cambered stock and by installing spacers it creates more camber? I just received my BONOS and now im having 2nd thoughts because i like to drive my car hard.
The way it was, without the spacers, there was already a fairly obvious negative camber set from the factory that you can not adjust. Putting the spacers in (20mm) made the rear wheels stick out further, which visually accentuated that camber. The 15mm were not so obvious.
Greetings, Question about your wheel spacer mod, do you think by lowering your vehicle you change The camber and the curb riding height. Which change your camber in the rear.
From what I've researched, the factory camber is already "aggressive." So, sticking them out 20mm further on each side, changed the COG further out, therefore squatting the car a bit more.
@87SixShot Not available anywhere. Been looking since the initial install. Asked the forums as well. The solution for most are wheels that specifically fit that will load the inner rim vs outer.
if you don't mind answering I noticed you used the term 'excessive camber'...is there a mechanical concern or precaution why you don't like the camber brought by the spacers?
@tubedude92 From the research that I did, they said that it could technically increase the load on the wheel bearings, especially the outer ones. Which can cause them to fail prematurely. But so far, that is inconclusive. I used to term "excessive camber" because to me, any type of negative camber that is noticeable would be too much for my liking.
I was thinking the same thing. But someone commented on this or another video that a 2014 and up Lexus IS350 camber adjustment arm would work. So I went ahead and bought one. We'll see.
Will do, bro. I'll definitely post a video. I'm hoping everything works myself so I don't have to change wheels. I love the stock wheels of the 500. The whole design really works with the car.
@@Hyper_Boost One more question. What lowering springs did you go with and how much did it lower the car? I'm thinking about going with Eibach Pro springs. It's only a slight lowering of .9 inches in the front and .5 in the rear. Not sure I want to get too aggressive with the springs. It's all about finding that balance.

Just get wider rims for front and back as a staggered set up so the wheels are flash with the fender. Would obviously need new tires but o well.
That's the plan. Just gotta find the perfect offset.

Wheels are NEXT!!!❤

Giddens wheel repair can paint the wheels hyper silver if you want ???
Hey Jersey Joe! Long time no see bro! Yeah, I know you guys are the best! But I can not have wheels for a week! Gotta get me a spare set first!!!
Ganda ng Lexus IS500 mo Ser !!! 😊
Salamat talaga, bro! "Anak ng pawis" yan! 😆
..and in case theres any questions, the wheel spacers perfomed flawlessly. I just didnt like the excessive camber.
I'm pretty sure an off set rim will do the same thing. You need a camber kit.

@@Hyper_Boost hm interesting..guess it maybe time to look into getting wider wheels haha
So you still have rear camber issues with the springs and no spacers ?
It's pretty much back to stock camber now. Barely noticeable. But it's just my OCD😀. No abnormal tire wear so far.
Did your abs bracket on your front struts line back up ?
It didn't really shift.
I wonder if 15mm on the back would also create that camber.

@@Hyper_Boost keep me posted. I'm looking to purchase a IS350 and definitely wanted to lower it and add spacers. It just makes it look so much better.

Good luck with the 350! Lexus makes them so well.

Sharp eye, bro! Yes, EBay, dry carbon. Really nice weave too!
