The last time I heard such an aggressive book written by McNutt was when he was with the Cadets in 2013, I believe. That was a Sanford year. This group has ALL the earmarks…💯

Probably the best bass 1 & 2 combo I've ever heard. The whole line is stellar, but those two are SOLID.
The perfectly executed split-snare roll at 17:56 is exquisite and I've watched it about 20 times by now. 😂
How is this not the best drum line ever? I could list so many reasons why they are. Still some time left too. This is insane.
Thank you for giving us all so much access to this line. I especially enjoyed the rbass/george collins footage of the rehearsals with the tech's feedback.

Legendary Line , Legendary Book , Legendary Year ‼‼
Legendary drum corps and this probably the best in a long list of drumlines in the history of the most influential corps in this history. This was the first corps to use a electronic keyboard in 1985, first to use timpani, and mallet keyboard 1968 and 1969. We alumni are very much proud of our young people who now wear the uniform 😀👍.eatem

Switching over to Pearls did a lot for this lines sound. They’ve had great players for a few years now, but now they’re playing on the best sounding drums and you can hear the difference
This is truly a line for the ages. We’ll forever more refer BAC 22’ in the same breath with Star 93’. The members, Colin and staff: Take a bow. I could care less about the placement absolutely NEXT LEVEL
champs in my book. Colin has been doing this since his Glassmen days. Nice to see him getting the respect he so richly deserves (as well as the BAC member and team of course). Particularly excited for our ♾️ members in the program this year. 😁❤️🎵

Hoping to see the Boston Crusaders win their 1st DCI Championship Title tomorrow night!!! Their drumline is top notch and the best of the best this season....McNutt is a genius writer...and these drummers are making this stuff seem effortless....squeaky clean like a giant bottle of Windex on a car's windshield💯💥✌💪🥇🥁....

Ever since they swapped to pearl, snares actually have a snare response (unlike 2019) by far the best sounding drumline in a long time🤝
Until I saw this video I would have said SCV will take the Sanford once again no
problem, but after watching the show music segment I can't say that anymore.
What a line and what control. Seems like all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed.
Haven't watched this with the pit and that seems to be the strength of SCV every
year-battery AND pit due to the Rennicks working so closely together.
This will be interesting for sure.
From a vocabularly standpoint this group is unreal, not many groups ever have had such difficult material and played it so well. Pit definitely seemed to be part of the issue for the sanford
Up there with the best this year, but the bass drum line is a standout. Hands down, the best out there.
As a horn player who knows only a small amount about percussion in general. You can just tell this is quality

many of the snare shots during the show parts were ... maybe the cleanest rim shots i've ever heard in a battery. they're on a whole other level of precision and control overall. magic is being made before our eyes. it's that palpable synergy that everyone can feel. also MCNUTT - g r e a t audio recording. super accurate capture of frequency response and dynamics.
This book is Tasty AF, and played extremely well!! Nice job!!

The best drum line I've seen. Like them better than Mc nutt 03', Cavs 2001, Vanguard 2003. I Marched 05 and 06 and really cool to see how high level things have gotten

Great drumline but the book is either them playing or horns playing. Very little ensemble… they’re so good I want to hear them more throughout the show!! When they are playing with horns they’re in the back and their greatness is barely audible. No doubt tho, a great drumline.
