Well done for (what I guess) is your first attempt, but your belt is a bit tight mate.
Now, this explanation is mainly for long ribbed flat serpentine drive belts but it works reasonably well on a normal V belt too, and its pretty easy to do & it is free..
    1. look at the belt from either above or from the side and find the longest stretch (or length) of the belt between any of the pulleys, this will be the part of the belt that you will use to check the tension.
    2. Now using as much strength as you can twist this longest section of the belt between your *thumb and fingers* until you can just turn it to exactly 90deg and no more or less. When it is right it will be quite hard & stiff at 90deg and when it is wrong it will be loose at 90deg. It can take a few times to get right if your new at it, so don't give up.
    Note - Orientation:
    a. If you are looking at the top of the belt when it is turned(or twisted) 90 deg you should be able to *see the side of the belt* when it is tight enough.
    b. If you are looking at the belt from the side when it is turned (or twisted) 90deg you should be able to *see the belts flat top* when it is tight enough. Works best with the flat drive belts though, but hope this helps.

Thank you mate, you are 100% right there. This belt didn't last more than about 14 months, so the next one I did some research and did the 90° rule and it worked a treat. That's great advice. Cheers man

Like a boss! Really appreciate the video. Where’d you get the powered mirrors?

@dubmasterz3261 hi, no worries. Thank you for the support. The powered mirror came on mine standard. It is the "Elegance" trim level apparently lol

@@wolf_kiff_workshop. I want to upgrade mine to use those mirrors. Maybe that’s another video you can do if you figure it out.
