I love the new Text voice recognition! For a while I lived in a place where I couldn't really speak at home, so I couldn't goad the ghost or use spirit box, let alone talk to my team if I found the bone or the ghost room. My solution was that I spent a long time recording my voice asking the questions and communicating with my team, and then put it all into a soundboard - it was a nightmare! It's so helpful for people like me. It's really satisfying that I can now use the spirit box like my teammates. My team still says things like "Yes... spooky room," and "No... find... bone" in my soundboard voice, so at least we got an inside joke out of it 😅

This was confirmed against a Moroi. I theorize that whatever causes EMF 6 changes on the board (from 0 to 6, etc.) is ending up rolling 6 - 1... which makes 5. - Because Sanity Medication restores over a period of time, you can waste multiple doses accidentally by not waiting for the full value. Multiple meds stack: Four bottles of snake oil at 25 apiece will bring you up to 100 if you chug them in the same second. But if you chug all four while at 75 sanity, you will completely waste three bottles. - The Tripod is currently a large object ghosts can interact with, making them more likely to be targeted than cameras. They produce EMF signatures when touched, regardless of a successful knocking over or not. - If you're worried about the issue of a ghost seeing you through floors due to imperfections in the models, check with a DOTS sensor (particularly T3) or UV light. They will shine through such gaps. - "Hide and Seek" on text mode is dangerous; you can not withdraw from the board while it counts down. - Motion Sensors are powerful tools to test for Banshee, Wraith, and Phantom. Sit in a corner with multiple sensors on the path to you and an EMF under your feet. A Banshee and Phantom will ping them all lighting up to you, then lighting up going away. Banshees do this VERY often, far more so than their screech, and leave no EMF, though a Phantom will leave EMF 2 and do it LESS often in general. Wraith will leave an EMF signature and poof on you, ONLY lighting up to walk away. EMF + Motion Sensor is a three-in-one test.
Another possible DOTS tip, instead of placing the T3 DOTS across the room from each other, you can place them on top of each other with like 6 seconds of a delay. they keep most of the room lit because they dont cover the same section of the room.
Insym, they make you place the cone sound sensors backwards so you can place it in the end corners of the room, allowing you to listen to that specific room and not the outside.
I know it'd be a mammoth undertaking, but I'd love a video covering the maps. Sometimes I feel the urge to play on a map that I'm not used to, only to spend forever just navigating and learning the map while also trying not to die to the ghost. There's so much nuance to the maps that I truly struggle with them, so having a guide - even a fairly shallow one that only skims the basics or most useful tips - would help to erode that invisible barrier to entry.
Cone mode on sound sensors is so good for the asylum and high school if you're having trouble finding the ghost room. Point two sensors away from each other to the east and west of the main lobby, set range to max, and listen in the truck for noises.
Something that took me an embarrassing amount of time to learn is that you can actually place the tier 1 DOTS projector. Without knowing that I was literally not capable of finding the Goryo (since I had to be in the room to hold the DOTS). It sounds like an obvious part of the game, but I actually played the game before the huge tools update and also had to re-discover what the items did. I played a few games without knowing you can place the DOTS, which was painful, thought "hey, I'm missing something here", finally decided to play the tutorial - which was less educational that actually playing the game for me since I knew the bare basics - and finally, during another round, tried placing it. I really wish they told you that in the tutorial, or like made a tutorial page in the journal where it says how you can "properly" use items (like telling you that you can't see a Goryo with a naked eye, since I haven't seen new players actually go through all ghost traits). Yes, it also says it's placeable in the item shop/inventory, but again - new players don't go to every corner trying to discover item traits, especially of items that seem obvious. Sorry for the long rant, but it just really infuriated me that I didn't know how to use such a basic item.
the tip at 53:30 (ish) was so useful, and actually happened to me the other day. i had taken the pic, gotten a 3 star, but the ghost wasnt in the photo at all. i immediately thought phantom, but was unsure because i wasnt seeing uv. i dismissed it as a bug and exited, only to find that it was a rev. this is a very good thing to know
CRAZY GLITCH! Yesterday I was playing phasmo with a full party and I had a crazy glitch, I was on willow. The ghost started hunting on the living room at the exact moment I was shaking the glow stick and killed me (I was still shaking the glow stick when I died). When I came back to the house as a ghost I could pick up EVERY SINGLE evidence item, smudge sticks, EMF, thermo... I ended up discovering it was a wraith, because I did a wraith test and placed salt while I was dead and he was hunting 😂 it was so funny.
(Auto generated chapters, might be inaccurate) 1. Headcam: Allows players to drop their flashlight and use an additional item in their inventory. It also counts as an electronic item that can be detected by the ghost during hunts. [0:30] 2. Sound Sensor: Can be set to different modes (circle, cone, line) to detect sounds from specific directions. The range displayed on the map is inaccurate. [2:04] 3. Tier 1 Thermometer: Shows the minimum temperature for ghosts without freezing evidence, helping to rule out freezing temperatures. [7:45] 4. EMF Reader: Does not work during ghost hunts. EMF level will vanish until the hunt is over. [14:19] 5. Glow Stick: Can be used to detect fingerprints without charging it up. [15:19] 6. Dots Projector: Placing two dots projectors on opposite sides of a room can ensure maximum coverage. [10:21] 7. Writing Book: Can be triggered using tarot cards or a voodoo doll, revealing messages from the ghost. [17:31] 8. Tier 3 Motion Sensor: Can be used to track the ghost's movements by replacing it and interpreting its pointing direction. [19:19] 9. Crucifix: Tier 3 crucifix can stop a cursed hunt by placing it where the ghost is likely to hunt. [20:08] 10. Salt: Can be used during hunts to slow down the ghost and leave UV footprints for evidence. [23:44] 11. Smudge Sticks: Tier 1 and Tier 2 have the same effect as Tier 3, but with a shorter duration. Can disable certain ghosts temporarily, like the Yurei. [29:50] 12. Spirit Box: Does not work outside of the room where the ghost is located. Can be used in conjunction with ghost events to get better results. [39:54] 13. Ouija Board: Can trigger a variety of responses based on the questions asked. Check the text-to-speech menu for all possible questions. [40:45] 14. Orb Detection: Orbs will usually be in the ghost room, except for Mimics, which can be found in the room where the ghost is. [41:53] 15. Flashlight: Some players experience a bug where the flashlight cannot be turned on and off when it is selected. [45:34] 16. Photo Camera: Can still be used to take photos of the ghost after filling up the evidence page. [56:19] 17. Sound Sensor Range: The range displayed on the map is inaccurate. Placing the sound sensor farther than the range indicated can still pick up sounds. [59:22] 18. Phantom: Disappears before taking a photo, and the glitching effect appears on the camera roll. [54:52] 19. Tripods: Can be used to block players and trap them in one spot, potentially leading to their death. [1:01:47] 20. Pair Mic: Can be used to hear ghosts' footsteps during a hunt and trigger Banshee screams. [1:02:17]
Another great tip for Spirit box. It does work even if you're outside of the room. Activate the spirit box, place it in the ghost room and turn off the lights. If the ghost has spirit box evidence, you will get responses even if you're not standing in the room as long as the spirit box can pick up your voice (you have to be nearby basically). 2 Spirit boxes are really useful that way!
9:42 Use the UV flashlights and look straight up, then throw them, they’ll land perfectly facing up so they can always cover a door for you since glow sticks lose power over time
Ghost: hunts You: unexpected Also you: walks around in the dark for the first 3-5 minutes, witnesses 3 ghost events, doesn't place crucifix or take meds
So for dots and orbs. I put a cam on the tripod, set up dots, and watch from the van to look for both dots and orbs. It's probably not the best way, but it's the way my friends and I do at this point. Helps with sanity loss, too, since you are in the van while looking for the evidence in the dark. This especially helps if you are first starting out and don't understand the mechanics of everything.
Thw crucifix burning making the lights turn off is so annoying but it brings back memories of the old phasmo. Keep giving us more content like this man❤
Honestly I am fine with this, it lets me know right away that I am in hunting range or I've triggered a method that causes the ghost to hunt regardless (yokai/onryo) and lets me know to immediately go to the van to check sanity, turning lights on on the way back
@ 29:20 For the tiers of smudge sticks there's a difference between the effect application window, and the effect duration window for smudge sticks. upgrading in tiers upgrades the application window, not the duration of the effect on ghosts.
41:43 that is why phasmophobia is so different from any other horror game its down to the player experience its living in the moment learning the game together sharing information and it brings a community of ghost hunter gamers together man and it's beautiful.
My brother and I are new players on the Xbox version, and on my days off I look for tips to help make us better at the game. This is my most frequented channel to watch for hints. These videos are very thorough and helpful!
In response to you talking too much: I love it. It makes the videos less awkward, and I can listen and follow along even if watching isn’t a priority when I have the video playing. Granted I did enjoy the tension during hunts when push-to-talk wasn’t a feature yet, but I’m glad you “talk too much.”
7:21 A ghost from another plane of existence apparently. My guy snaps a photo and says, anyway to continue on about his topic as the ghost CHILLS in the background. Absolute gigachaddery.
I don't know for sure, but I believe they had to add collision to the tripod and the video cam so the ghost can throw them, and that's why you get stuck since then. Love the content. Keep up the good work!
Surprised you didn't mention about the photo cam/dots combo - if the ghost appears in the dots it counts as your ghost photo. I learned this when I tried it just to test.
What I'd like to see Insym is a video on how to handle danger from ghost hunts, basically a guide on how to manage low sanity. I think most players get intimidated by hunts and that is just deogen fodder.
My favorite part of your explenation videos is that, after you find the ghost room, you just casually ignore the ghost while you're explaining things. I find it hilarious.
For ouija and text you are always stuck in the menu until you use „goodbye“, but then you cannot take an interaction photo even though there‘s still emf
42:50 imagine the look on your face when you've hired a $2000 á hour ghost hunter to figure out why your furniture is floating as he heads into your bathroom, covers the floor in salt, says "where are you are you french are you grandma" into a radio, throws his expensive equipment into the ground then takes 9 photos of the same spot on the floor with a bird watching camera and runs away with your dog's favorite bone
Another bug I have experienced with the flashlight, is that when you turn it off or on with the special button while you aren't holding then switch to it it will return to whatever state it was when you were holding it. So if you had it on, and then ran from a ghost using your lighter and turned the flashlight off with the special button, if you scroll through your items again to say get to the incense you and you scroll past the flashlight it will turn back on when you select it.
In multiplayer, if the ghost steps in the salt, both you and your teammate can take a photo of the salt if you both are holding the camera and both photos will count as photos. Idk if they'll fix that
What I do with my sound sensors is place 3 next to eachother with sides mode, at such an offset that combined they make a full circle with 6 separate sections.
you can put dots on certain ceilings making it cover a large area more consistently. for instance, in the garage, the slim support beam going over the center of the car, can hold dots. putting one on each side will cover both sides and you will have less moments were the dots are facing a wall instead of the floor.
we were getting less dots with T3 on ceiling so we changed to putting them low and we get more dots now. we think. lol. i hypothesise that the crawling/short ghosts cant quite trigger some ceiling/high placed dots. could just be biased conjecture though
PLEASE do a new map video. I can't be the only guy who basically only plays Tanglewood, but I really want to branch out and a guide would be super helpful in helping me loose way less money while I'm exploring the other maps
I would love it when the Devs would implement a "thorough" Investigation bonus for LONG Games so that your 20min and more battle against the Ghost gets rewarded. (No Exploits posible)
For a ghost guide, I say play the game and just note down the time you want to talk about and the hire a person to edit them together. Then at a schedule time release a guide for each ghost.
Map guides would probably make for a great series and should be easy to split up. The street houses in one video, farm houses in another etc. The larger maps could probably be made into standalone videos. Especially maps as complex as prison or asylum. Would be easier to spread the workload out so you don't have to spend the 10 hours it would take to go over all the maps all in one sitting.
Something I found surprising is that Yokai don't have guaranteed Spirit Box. Since in singleplayer you won't be talking much except to the ghost. So my thought process was that the Spirit Box made it so you HAD to talk to the Yokai which could potentially proc its ability to hunt early. And this information held true because never once (until recently) had I ever had a Yokai that didn't have it.
Here's my ideas on how to balance the thermometer levels since in the time I got to use the T3 in a challenge I didn't like it over the T1 I had at the time. T1 is too strong and T3 is just terrible. T1: Make it have a slight delay before changing temps maybe .75-1 second, and fix the bug of it being 100% accurate. T2: have it update every second. T3: Instead of holding for a bit to get a single reading change it to holding it for a bit to then get rapid readings lets say every .5-.6 seconds with a 95% accuracy. (Just so the temps fluctuate a few decimals of degrees for visual appeal.) The exact timing's aren't exactly what I'm thinking but more to get the point across. plus having to still hold the button makes the T1 and T2 more useful when left in a camera's view so the T3 isn't 100% better in all ways but is better like most other T3's in normal use.
You can also throw the tier 2/3 UV Lights straight in the air and they will drop below you standing up. It gives the same effect as Tier 1 UV but with 1 more step basically
The lighter can be used as a candle replacement by pressing right click + G at the same time, it will lit the lighter on the floor. Additionally you can also take a photo cam once your lighter is blown by the ghost.
About Goryo, didn't they changed dots so they have high chance to happen when player is in a room and low when they are away, making Goryo painful to see? Also, speaking of t3 Dots, I usually place them near the ground, especially against female ghosts, so the crawling ones won't hide in a blind spot that dots placed higher on a wall have. Also, as fun as they are, they have some drawbacks, since you can't really place them decently in giant rooms (like Brownstone gym) or open fields. I wish Tripods could be actually useful and allow Dots to be placed on their legs (or just tripods to be reworked into an object you could place more stuff than just cameras on them). About collision, sadly, t3 incense also have collision that forces you to go diagonally if you crouch. Be careful. And a tip towards text system - be careful with Ouija, it tends to break after one question, leaving you with text on the screen and no way to interact with Ouija (so you can't say Goodbye). It gets fixed if you turn on and off the Spirit Box, but if you go to Ouija and don't have it on hand you either have to become bffs with it and got to nearest Spirit Box or you're forced to get a hunt, losing the cursed item in the process.
Oooh I wonder if you can store multiple motion sensors at once so you can place them down whenever you want to know where the ghost is. The storage would need to be maintained in the dropped state though, but if that works that could be really cool. Definitely a bug, but really cool.
Aw man I've been playing this a lot in VR and once you get used to playing it in VR it's actually real fun and pretty easy. You can hold FOUR ITEMS, MAN it's neat. I like using a Parabolic Microphone and just aim it somewhere with my hand but I can still look around with my head. Can't do that on desktop heheh ;)
a very funny thing i love is that the onryo is basically useless because 2 firelight 2 crucifix is enough to keep it at bay but you can have 4 firelight too
What about making a series called like "no evidence tuesday" where you do weekly no evidence runs? No evidence are to me the most interesting, fun and informational videos
I have a mechanic with the para (T1) which im not 100% sure if it works or is just a bug (i think it is a bug tho): turn on para -> drop para -> switch to another item -> pick up para -> para is still "on" in inventory, similar as to how emf is on after picking up from the ground. The world around you is silenced, but idk if it actually works
side note on the tts for voice recognition, if you click hide and seek for the ouija board, you cannot exit its ui until after the countdown and it burns.
51:30 This has to be careful because there is currently a bug that DOTS ghosts have a chance to spawn transparently in ghost events. So, if you don't have a light source with you, it is really hard to tell the difference between a legit shadow model and a bugged transparent ghost. Besides the bug, you have to be careful about the grace period setting too. The ghost can happen to hunt like a minisecond before you light the last candle and remain transparent during the grace period after teleported to the summmoning circle. You can tell the difference again with a flashlight, or hearing the hunting sound, or counting the time as the summmoning circle ghost event should last for 5 seconds.
So, on DOTS... I'm not sure if this was the case when you posted the video, BUT, you can also just click on the t3 dots projector, and it will stop swiveling and remain stationary. Click it a second time to turn them off without having to take them down. Edit: Looks like that released with 0.10.0, so at the time of this video, that was not the case. Also, on item "duping," I play multiplayer most of the time, and we've certainly had our moments at the beginning of our hunts where everyone's grabbing items and two people grab the same item at the same time. It doesn't really duplicate the item, so much as it teleports the item from one player to the other when they swap to that item. It literally steals it back out of the other player's inventory, until one player puts the item down. I haven't tested this with pills, but I'd assume that, at best, it would only duplicate it once, since the player auto-throws the item on the ground upon use, meaning they could no longer swap back to it. The second player could technically "steal it back," but they'd also only get one use out of it. Not too much gain for the hassle of timing it, imo. If I'm playing in any type of crazy game mode, it's probably a no sanity, no restoration game where sanity items would be useless anyway.
1:30 Haven't used a flashlight in so long. Glowstick OP. The only use for flashlights now for me is tossing it on the ground to light up a hallway to see a ghost during a hunt.
Another thing for goryo, probably a bug or maybe just isn’t very clear. if one of your friends is in the ghost room but ur on a camera it will show up on dots only on the camera and only to you. Your friend won’t be able to see it on his camera but you can see it from the van. Really confused me and my friend one day. I assumed if someone was in the ghost room it wouldn’t ever show up on dots
In my experience, I haven't really been able to rule out any specific evidence unless it was ruled out by default. Quite often I'll be in a game for 15-20+ minutes and know exactly what the ghost is, like the yurei closing exit doors outside a hunt or event, but never get the evidence to verify. It often takes so long to get evidence that I start to question myself. Then, after 15-20+ minutes I'll finally start getting evidence after non-stop checking each piece of evidence I'm pretty sure that it is going to be in that case. It can be so infuriating.
I forgot to mention for future video ideas, I do think a map guide would be cool. Like show people where cursed objects are. Show the best places to loop and do myling and yokai tests. Show the best hiding spots or the cool make shift hiding you’ve discovered like the brown chair in the farmhouse or the o shit places that you use as a last resort. Show Breaker box locations and yeah worst and best ghost rooms and best cursed possessions like you said
I think Insym mistakenly refers to the night vision goggles as a headcam and says you can't see orbs with the headcam, but you can see orbs from the truck if one of your friends has a headcam (the lower tier headgear) on. There's not a lot of use for this outside of specific challenges, but it does work.
46:43 fun fact about ps5 launch with the tripods they glitch through the floor every time but that's been patched already so quick the devs are so good.
So question for the crucifix stopping cursed hunts… so let’s say I place it in the summoning circle, it stops the cursed hunts. So does that mean the rest of the hunts after that will no longer be cursed hunts? Or does it still switch it to all cursed hunts from then on
Late to the party and idk if it's been said, but i bet the reason the sound sensor is placed backwards is so you can place it against any wall in a room and not have it stuck facing said wall
Would love to see something like a Map "Series". Instead of a major omnibus video of every map, you cna focus on each individually. Would take longer maybe to get them all out, but better than one long 10hr video to make.
I don't know if it still happens but if you turn the flashlight off while it's not in your hands and then you switch to it, it'll be turned on. Has gotten me killed a few times.
I think the "bugg" with the motion sensor is probably becasue the gost went in the circle but didn't leave before you picked it back up. So could be that the first time when you place it, it detects the ghost being in the circle and pointing towords it. then it keeps scanning (in the code I think) if the ghost is stil in the circle. So when you pick it up but it didn't leave the circle yet it's probably stil thinking that it didn't leave the circle. So when you then place it again it doesn't detect the ghost in the circle anymore and it does a scan. Could also be wrong about it. edit* paused the video to type this only to find insym had same idea a second later.
Is it only my observation or do the light switches/secondary lights appear darker when they're off if you see them with night vision? and they'll appear brighter/normal when they're turned on? for example see the light switch in the garage 4:43 for when it's off and 5:11 when it's on

the tip at 53:30 (ish) was so useful, and actually happened to me the other day. i had taken the pic, gotten a 3 star, but the ghost wasnt in the photo at all. i immediately thought phantom, but was unsure because i wasnt seeing uv. i dismissed it as a bug and exited, only to find that it was a rev. this is a very good thing to know
CRAZY GLITCH!
Is that still possible? That sounds so fun.
(Auto generated chapters, might be inaccurate)
1. Headcam: Allows players to drop their flashlight and use an additional item in their inventory. It also counts as an electronic item that can be detected by the ghost during hunts. [0:30]
2. Sound Sensor: Can be set to different modes (circle, cone, line) to detect sounds from specific directions. The range displayed on the map is inaccurate. [2:04]
3. Tier 1 Thermometer: Shows the minimum temperature for ghosts without freezing evidence, helping to rule out freezing temperatures. [7:45]
4. EMF Reader: Does not work during ghost hunts. EMF level will vanish until the hunt is over. [14:19]
5. Glow Stick: Can be used to detect fingerprints without charging it up. [15:19]
6. Dots Projector: Placing two dots projectors on opposite sides of a room can ensure maximum coverage. [10:21]
7. Writing Book: Can be triggered using tarot cards or a voodoo doll, revealing messages from the ghost. [17:31]
8. Tier 3 Motion Sensor: Can be used to track the ghost's movements by replacing it and interpreting its pointing direction. [19:19]
9. Crucifix: Tier 3 crucifix can stop a cursed hunt by placing it where the ghost is likely to hunt. [20:08]
10. Salt: Can be used during hunts to slow down the ghost and leave UV footprints for evidence. [23:44]
11. Smudge Sticks: Tier 1 and Tier 2 have the same effect as Tier 3, but with a shorter duration. Can disable certain ghosts temporarily, like the Yurei. [29:50]
12. Spirit Box: Does not work outside of the room where the ghost is located. Can be used in conjunction with ghost events to get better results. [39:54]
13. Ouija Board: Can trigger a variety of responses based on the questions asked. Check the text-to-speech menu for all possible questions. [40:45]
14. Orb Detection: Orbs will usually be in the ghost room, except for Mimics, which can be found in the room where the ghost is. [41:53]
15. Flashlight: Some players experience a bug where the flashlight cannot be turned on and off when it is selected. [45:34]
16. Photo Camera: Can still be used to take photos of the ghost after filling up the evidence page. [56:19]
17. Sound Sensor Range: The range displayed on the map is inaccurate. Placing the sound sensor farther than the range indicated can still pick up sounds. [59:22]
18. Phantom: Disappears before taking a photo, and the glitching effect appears on the camera roll. [54:52]
19. Tripods: Can be used to block players and trap them in one spot, potentially leading to their death. [1:01:47]
20. Pair Mic: Can be used to hear ghosts' footsteps during a hunt and trigger Banshee screams. [1:02:17]
much love for my man Mysni
I love Mysni too 😮
Ohhhhh you mean insym backwards
@@banannabanna Yessir, you are absolutely correct. And I personally think it's not bad at all lol
Just wait till someone copy's insym and name their channel mysni
@@banannabannan reposted all of his vods but backwards
Another great tip for Spirit box. It does work even if you're outside of the room. Activate the spirit box, place it in the ghost room and turn off the lights. If the ghost has spirit box evidence, you will get responses even if you're not standing in the room as long as the spirit box can pick up your voice (you have to be nearby basically). 2 Spirit boxes are really useful that way!
Sound sensors can be used to detect Poltergeists big throws or double Twins interactions, but not many people uses it for that
9:42 Use the UV flashlights and look straight up, then throw them, they’ll land perfectly facing up so they can always cover a door for you since glow sticks lose power over time
11:24 Not sure if it was mentioned already, but Tier 3 DOTS if you right click on them as they're moving, it will just stop them from moving
Ghost: hunts
You: unexpected
Also you: walks around in the dark for the first 3-5 minutes, witnesses 3 ghost events, doesn't place crucifix or take meds
Keep giving us more content like this man❤
Yes! I can't wait till they fix that again. :)
Honestly I am fine with this, it lets me know right away that I am in hunting range or I've triggered a method that causes the ghost to hunt regardless (yokai/onryo) and lets me know to immediately go to the van to check sanity, turning lights on on the way back
@@ArcRaizer I can definitely see how that's helpful! As mainly a zero-sanity player, unfortunately it's just a nuissance for me.
For the tier 3 uv if you walk right up against the door and look straight up and drop the item it’ll land looking up and show the uv as well
What I'd like to see Insym is a video on how to handle danger from ghost hunts, basically a guide on how to manage low sanity. I think most players get intimidated by hunts and that is just deogen fodder.
The tip on ruling out ghosts on nightmare is a game changer!!! I just started dabbling in nightmare
Your excitement about Phasmo is so contagious it made my friend and I want to be good on this game. Thank you Insym
the shape changing mechanic is written in the base item description if you ever read all item tiers descriptions
I personally use T3 Salt to keep ghosts in one room if i don't want it to roam, since it make them turn around if they step in it
Another bug I have experienced with the flashlight, is that when you turn it off or on with the special button while you aren't holding then switch to it it will return to whatever state it was when you were holding it. So if you had it on, and then ran from a ghost using your lighter and turned the flashlight off with the special button, if you scroll through your items again to say get to the incense you and you scroll past the flashlight it will turn back on when you select it.
Yeeea it s Been like this for a long time...
In multiplayer, if the ghost steps in the salt, both you and your teammate can take a photo of the salt if you both are holding the camera and both photos will count as photos. Idk if they'll fix that
What I do with my sound sensors is place 3 next to eachother with sides mode, at such an offset that combined they make a full circle with 6 separate sections.
you can put dots on certain ceilings making it cover a large area more consistently. for instance, in the garage, the slim support beam going over the center of the car, can hold dots. putting one on each side will cover both sides and you will have less moments were the dots are facing a wall instead of the floor.
been waiting/hoping they add it so you can do this with more ceilings, when my group discovered the ceiling method for dots it was such a game changer
we were getting less dots with T3 on ceiling so we changed to putting them low and we get more dots now. we think. lol. i hypothesise that the crawling/short ghosts cant quite trigger some ceiling/high placed dots. could just be biased conjecture though
PLEASE do a new map video. I can't be the only guy who basically only plays Tanglewood, but I really want to branch out and a guide would be super helpful in helping me loose way less money while I'm exploring the other maps
love these guides, i like being the newest in the phasmo group but the one that knows loads
You can do a video about all easter eggs that you know of! That would be awesome knowing a few of them involves you.
14:49 : just pull out your little boy and wait, If the ghost blows it, you know it likes it or not
Tier 1 thermo should remain the same. Tier 2 thermo should be the old thermo.
Tier 3 should be a thermal camera.
We were so confused when a cursed hunt didn't go through and we realized the ghost used the tier 3 crucifix that was untouched inside the truck
I once had a demon who did that.
Happened to me yesterday, pulled a death card and was so confused
My voice recognition works great with everything BUT “Goodbye” on the ouija board… the text option saves lives. 😆
(Just so the temps fluctuate a few decimals of degrees for visual appeal.)
The exact timing's aren't exactly what I'm thinking but more to get the point across. plus having to still hold the button makes the T1 and T2 more useful when left in a camera's view so the T3 isn't 100% better in all ways but is better like most other T3's in normal use.
Small tip for DOTS in the Garage. You can actually place them on the beam at the ceiling.
I learn so much from your videos man it's such a fun way to learn new things while also getting a laugh out of it
Oooh I wonder if you can store multiple motion sensors at once so you can place them down whenever you want to know where the ghost is.
The world around you is silenced, but idk if it actually works
placing sound in cone mode facing you lets you put it in a corner without having to back up into said corner.
44:15 "what are we testing for? speed, speed...STUPIDNESS"
man poor yokai xd IT DIDNT CHOOSE TO BE STUPID
side note on the tts for voice recognition, if you click hide and seek for the ouija board, you cannot exit its ui until after the countdown and it burns.
I am SO impressed at how thorough your videos are!! It’s incredibly helpful! Thank you so much.
If I'm playing in any type of crazy game mode, it's probably a no sanity, no restoration game where sanity items would be useless anyway.
when Insym talks about dots movement it reminds me about the Simpsons episode where Millhouse talks about his favourite water sprinkler
I think they should make the tier 3 UV into an electric UV lantern! That has a wider range than the tier 1 UV glow stick that’d be a big upgrade!
Show Breaker box locations and yeah worst and best ghost rooms and best cursed possessions like you said
In the past few days I have watched an unhealthy amount of this guys content
Does the 9 salt on top of itself for 9 3-star photos still work?
I like to put two of those dots up and then stop them where they cover the whole room, so they aren't always making that annoying sound.
Educational videos like this one are always my favourites
I think Insym mistakenly refers to the night vision goggles as a headcam and says you can't see orbs with the headcam, but you can see orbs from the truck if one of your friends has a headcam (the lower tier headgear) on. There's not a lot of use for this outside of specific challenges, but it does work.
46:43 fun fact about ps5 launch with the tripods they glitch through the floor every time but that's been patched already so quick the devs are so good.
Tbh after watching your videos im learning alot like how to hunt ghost and what are the pros and cons of each items like. Big thumbs up bro🤟👍👍👍👍👍👍
You can also rule out some ghosts based on guaranteed evidence, for example the obake, if there is no ultraviolet evidence, you could rule it out.
pleeeease more guides ! even if you did them in parts, its so interesting to learn the technical sides to it
Thank you for making that correction about the mimic orbs. V cool and much appreciated
I woke up at 10:00AM
Insym uploaded vid at 10:06AM
My weekend morning just became better 😂😂🎉
So question for the crucifix stopping cursed hunts… so let’s say I place it in the summoning circle, it stops the cursed hunts. So does that mean the rest of the hunts after that will no longer be cursed hunts? Or does it still switch it to all cursed hunts from then on
Late to the party and idk if it's been said, but i bet the reason the sound sensor is placed backwards is so you can place it against any wall in a room and not have it stuck facing said wall
I love these videos. But I always laugh when you are TALKING HOW IT GOES FROM HIGH to low to HIGH!
Would love to see something like a Map "Series". Instead of a major omnibus video of every map, you cna focus on each individually. Would take longer maybe to get them all out, but better than one long 10hr video to make.
Ok, the Spirit box text tip is amazing
You don’t have to hold the sound sensor to rotate the mics and change the cones btw lol. You can just place it and left click on it.
You should make a new nightmare and insanity guide because all the other ones are outdated. Love your content ❤
I JUST WATCHED A 2 MIN UNSKIPPABLE AD BEFORE GETTING THIS VIDEO I LOVE U INSYM
The best thing about candle is that in the apocalypse challenge you can use candle to get the EMF objective done during the hunt.
Very nice. Good tips. I also missed sound sensor thing
Thanks for the content love learning new things 😁
Is it only my observation or do the light switches/secondary lights appear darker when they're off if you see them with night vision? and they'll appear brighter/normal when they're turned on? for example see the light switch in the garage 4:43 for when it's off and 5:11 when it's on
i counted 47 tips (probably missed a few tbh) and i didnt know 10 of them. thanks!
