@@marcussg0813 Primarily because wheelspin money has a really high chance of being either useless (because you get 50k+ and can do whatever you want basically) or useless (because you get way too little and can't do anything with it)
Idea for budget: This may sound complicated but hear me out. Start with 50 or 75k or something. Then take the car down the needle climb, take the amount of points you get and divide by 10, then subtract that from your original budget. So if you start with 50k, get 200k, you subtract 20k from 50 and are left with a 30k budget. This would allow the lower powered cars to have a higher budget, and the higher power cars wouldn’t have as much because they don’t need it.
Go to the auto show and hold *rb* and what ever you land on you have to buy it. (To make it more interesting you could choose a different filter, such as the country.) Then bring it down the needle climb and divide the points by 5 or whatever you feel is right.
Here's an idea Sir Dubs: 0-100hp, divide points by 1 101-200, divide by 2 201-300, divide by 3, and so on not sure how that'll work, the average horsepower of decent stock road cars is like 200-400 I believe
instead of using a budget limit, you could also build multiple tunes for different classes. like build a tune at top of the class the car is already in, then build a tune for the next higher class, then a balls to the wall maxed out tune.
I had an idea while watching this video, and I came to the comments and saw someone thought of the same thing. you should determine how much to divide your initial score based on the stock hp of the car. for example for this camaro, you would divide it by 6.3 since it has 630 hp stock (2.3 for 230hp, etc.). this would benefit cars that are lower hp, as there would be a smaller reduction of the budget and more room for upgrades.
Edit: new idea for a video!! I watched your auction house drift build video and it dawned on me, buy viewers cars with there drift build on it and see how many points you can get! Could be a mash up with your credit giveaway! Just an ideer I came up with.
You could pick two cars at the beginning go down the needle climb with both and then use the points of the better one to upgrade the other car and the points of the worse to upgrade the better one.
You should divide the number more the more points you get, otherwise youll barely have money when you need it but you have more than what you would need on cars like the camaro
I've got a suggestion like instead of dividing every cars score by the same amount, instead you could divide d class cars by 1, c class by 2, b class by 3, a class by 4, s1 class by 5 and s2 class by 10 or something similar
Video Idea: drift to the Top You Start with a D-class car U drift the needle climb down and take the Points to buy a new car. Then u drift this car down the hill. Same thing again and again until u can afford an s1 or higher car. The Cars That u buy Must Not be tuned, they are always Stock!
@@yannisstenger6052 that's a little more than a challenge my friend XD at least start with C class. At least then you'll be able to manage some amount of points
For your budget, I'd calculate it differently based on class.(S is stock tune score) D class=50%(S×0.5), C class=30%(S×0.3), B class=20%(S×0.2) A class and above=10%(S×0.1). This should give you a fairly balanced score-based budgeting system to build any car in a competitive manner. And I'd be a bit more on the ball with you taking your score down because the Abarth 124 stock score was 148,000(@ 20% or ÷5 is 29,600) which could have gotten you the few extra mods you really wanted
You should divide the points according to the stock class. Like for example S1 = /10, A = /8, B = /6, and so forth... It would make it more fair for all classes
I think maybe you can set up a system to devise your score based on the class of the stock car, decide less if it’s c class and decide more if it’s A class
What if you put in the variabel of doing the dividing by car start class where a D class car will be divided by one. And s1 by 5 you can fill in the blank
hey Dubs how about do a third run with those wheelspin drift cars fully upgraded and tuned so if you accidently find a decent driving car like the Abarth you can see if they can score high points ???
what if you do it be what class it is stock. for instance an a - x class is divided by 5-10 and a b class car is divided by 3-5 and a c or d class car is divide by 2
I know in FH3 rally suspension gave more angle than race. It might be the same in FH4, so you can use rally for extra steering angle... just lower the car again.
Bro I have a good idea You can divide different classes of cars on different times, for example: C on 2, B on 3, A on 4, S1 on 5 and S2 on 6. I think that should be way interesting and fair)) hello from Russia bro
@DUBS what if u divide the drift points by (stock HP /100) to get ur budget, in the Camaro case with 650hp, ur budget will be 243K/6,5=37,4K so u will get a better budget with a low power cars
You should have put the offroad suspension on the camaro, because it has a little more steering angle over the stock and the race suspension, because for offroad and rally you need that because in rally you drift a lot😅 and the rally tires, the drif a lot easier than the drag ones, and the rally engine would have been woth it, because it has a lot more torque than the stock engine
do a wheelspin and with the car you get from it you use it down the zone, and the score you get is the budget to buy a car from the marketplace to use down the zone
I have been watching your channel for a while now, and I can't remember if you are "allowed" to mess around with the settings while the car is stock in these series? Such as locking the diff etc.
A different idea for the drift builds, you could divide the amount of horsepower by 100 and then the outcome frome the drift with the car you won. So maybe you get a car with 200 horsepower you divide that with 100 so you have 2 and then you drift with the car and get maybe 90000 Points or more and divide this with 2 so you get 45000 to spend on the build.
Hey Dubs loved the video but i had an idea what in you divide the points by class so D class is Divide by 2 C class is 2 B class is 3 and then A class is 5 S1 class could be 7 and S2 class could be 10 i hope that this is a good idea :) PS: my thinking was the higher the class the less upgrades you should need and you can change the numbers if you want to.
For some reason yeah, the '17 ZL1 doesn't get Drift Suspension. But the '15 Z/28 does. Don't think the '19 ZL1 1LE has it either. If you want a modern Camaro for drifting, go with the 2015 model.
Go on a shorter run and make your budget equal to your high score minus the achieved score. That way the bad cars to start with will get a higher budget, but the good cars will get a lower budget. So if you go on a drift zone where your high score is 70k, and a honda civic scores 20k, it's budget would be 50k. A bmw M3 on the other hand might score 50k stock, so the budget for that would be 20k
Honestly the dividing system is biased against slower bad cars. Maybe base off the dividing system on the upgrade type of the car. For example A, S1, S2 etc.
i have a epic idea if u get a car the last number on the left in car class are the number u divide example if u get A Class 754 u divide the score by 7 if u get a D Class 100 u divide the score by 1 i wish u understand
divide the horsepower of the car by 100 and use that number to divide the drift score. For example 435hp divided by 100 = 4.35, lets say you get 200,000 points, 200,000 divided by 4.35 = $45,977 to spend
If you want a criteria where slower cats get more budget you should do the inverse, divide a constant, like 2 billion, by the score you get. For example, this car stock got 250k, so if you divide 2 billion by 250k you get 8000 which is a fairly small budget. If a car only gets 100k points, 2 billion divided by 100k is 20k which is a decent budget. You can tweak the constant by a bit but at least this way slower cars get a bigger budget than the fast ones
A solution to your problem with credits may be.... Take the horsepower of the car, divide it by 100 and round up to the higher number (ex. 640 / 100 = round(6,4) = 7). So points / 7 and that's your budget
You should use a random number generator with all the points u got on the needle climb like for example you get 100k points you use a random number generator 0-100k and whatever number u get that's ur budget for ur drift build
You should divide it by the horsepower the car has. For example if a car has 630 hp and you get 200 000 points divide it by 6,3 which is about 32k
