Fun fact: After the Vulcan and Victor, the Valiant is the last in a trio of astons which take their names from the “v-bombers,” a group of British nuclear jet bombers made from the 50’s and 60’s
Fun fact theres more than 110 valours being made, I know because I prepped the carbonfibre panels for the cars at a small shop in Exhall called BRS in the uk. We had the build sheet and time schedule for each car and how long we were allowed to keep each chassis on site from prep to paint before being sent to aston martin
@johnsichz from what I was told the design was made for a 1 off car for some rich guy who wanted a 1 of 1 car, aston then supposedly took the design tweaked it a little bit and used it for their 110 anniversary of the valour so sucks for that guy. But when it comes to production numbers apparently there was soo much demand and so many people applied for the car that they're making more than 110 cars. Keep in mind that this isn't 110% confirmed but it came from a colleague and main boss who was in touch with aston martin directly
That’s actually awesome Edit: a bit off topic, but if I may ask, what’s the coolest thing you’ve worked on at that shop (other than the carbon fiber panels for the Valour)?
