1. He made a song about Santa and responded to that with a disstrack by the Easter bunny and now the sandman is dissing them both.
2. They actually said that they are fu*ked up. If you translate it word for word the are singing: "we are at the ass"

Well I’m German and my step niece is 7 and thinks that santa is real. (I probably stopped believing in santa when I was 6- so a long time ago.). And a lot of other kids also think that santa is real.

I think this video you can just understand when you grew up in germany because "Sandmann" is a german TV-Show for kids (ca. 2-5 years) and the melody of the refrain is the titelsong of it. And Julien Bam and Dagi Bee did a rapp about it where "Sandmann" is laughing about Santa and the Easterbunny like "Hey, you just have to bring presents and eggs one time in the year and I have to give sleep to children all over the world, every day"

A little interesting fact: the tune that the children sing to is from a very famous TV program, called "Der Sandmann", that many parents here in Germany let their children watch before they go to sleep. They just changed the lyrics.

The series starts every evening on a kidschannel at seven o clock whereafter the children go to bed. The sandman has sand in his bag to make the kids have sweet dreams and every evening at the end of the series he throws sand at the camera for every child sitting in front of the television . 😴 wow i didn’t know it was that komplex to describe 😅

So to explain a little xD
1: The „Sandmann“ owns magic sand that makes everybody fall asleep. And the part where the kids are singing is actually a parody of a kids show that I think almost every german kid watched when they where little before they went to sleep.
2. The Sandman roasts Santa and the Easter Bunny because Ju made (I think in 2016) a rap as Santa and released it on Christmas. The Easter Bunny responded with a disstrack and Santa replied to that as well. You can say it’s a running gag on his channel xD
3. The English translation of where the kids are singing is worse than the original because in german it basically says that they are all very tired and want the Sandmann to give them a little rest.
4. Most german kids believe in Santa and the Easter Bunny in their young ages except their parents are mean and tell them from the very beginning that both don’t exist... (which I think is really unfair because Santa and the Easter Bunny were my childhood and it wouldn’t be fair if others couldn’t have this experience as well. Of course they need to tell them one day but not too soon (7-8 is a hood age to tell them I think)) That is why there’s the sentence that everybody older than 18 knows they don’t exist.

they don't sing "we're fucked" literally but it's pretty similar. in german you can say "Ich bin im Arsch" what means "I am in the ass" (supposed to mean something like "I feel like ass") and they sing "Wir sind schon wieder übelst im Arsch" "übelst" means something like "terribly" and "schon wieder" is basically "again already" or just "again"

To understand the meaning from the sandman in Germany you have to resurge it. When I was little (i don’t have German blood but I was born in Germany Hamburg) we had that tv show as 6 o’clock it was the sandman show there had short films with muppets and when the show was over there was the theme song sandman dear sandman etc. And from that comes the Vers that the kids was singing 😄 ps both of you make funny videos and I think it is very good that you want learn how to speak German and German is a difficult languages for people who don’t spoke it or hear it often.

Das Christkind ist im übrigen hauptsächlich in katholisch geprägten Gemeinden der Gabenbringer. Saint Nicholas lived where today is the Turkey. But I think Sinterklaas, who based on Saint Nicholas, came with the Dutch to America and was named Santa Claus. And Coca Cola used him for their advertising. XD
