I just picked one of these myself ( RFZ 125) .went together good and ran okay for a few minutes after its first warm up, but then after changing the crap oil for the good stuff, rode it around the yard for my first test drive and noticed the carburetor has a very bad low speed bog. So I removed the carburetor and drilled out the tamper proof brass plug over the fuel mixture screw. Which was not at the right setting. It was getting too much fuel. It was set at 3 1/2 turns out. I set it at 2 1/2 turns. Also had to add a very small washer under the needle on the throttle slide and that fixed all issues. Bike is pretty dang fast and lots of power. So far loving it. Thanks for sharing your videos. Cant wait for your next update.

@@TheUndeadGamer69 i got it from richmond motorsports, when i called, dude told me he had all models and colors in stock, in the time it took me to drive from modesto to richmond he had one keft that i got only because i had cash right there and the other guy had to go to the bank. Theres a place in sacramento called atv wholesalers inc or somthing and they usually stock them. Theyre hard to get your hands on gotta have the cash ready when they get the shipments.

WD40 both ends of clutch cable every time I ride. Once, I also put little motor oil on the clutch actuator. (motor side of clutch cable) Used compressed air to push oil inside the shaft housing. And, to clean up any excess. So no dirt would stick. Now, it is one of the easiest clutches.

I’m new to the bike scene and I’m considering getting this model. How well do you think this bike would do at a track with small jumps and all that?
I think with the larger wheelset youd do fine! If its for racin purposes, brand name bikes will just be quicker

@@AaronsEnduro on a evoque the carb is Japanese and that bike is DEFINATLY made in China so this you would have to buy an aftermarket carb for I guess
Never heard of a evoque. I know the original carbs are Chinese . My aftermarket carb is a japan mikuni

How would you compare buying a new Apollo vs a used Honda (or other big name brand) for the same price? I need something that’s gonna be reliable for enduro.

I have a 2021 Apollo dbz40 (140cc)with stock wheels 17"front/14"rear.I want to put 19" front and 16" rear wheels on it.What do you think? I see plenty available at $200 and looks to match up.Maybe with chain adjustment length needed? Any help greatly appreciated
Likely need longer front fork to prevent the wheel from touching the fender and or the frame at full compression. Ive heard you can direct swap to the 16” rear if you have the extended rear swingarm that you see on the RXF. Personally i havent done the 19/16” swap so i cannot offer any garuntee insight, only what I’ve read online

@AaronsEnduro Thanks, Aaron. Yeah, I have been looking at those 2, I'm in Ireland the 125 market is limited enough, plenty of 250cc branded bikes , but I think it's to much power for a learner, he needs to master the craft first, instead of trying to master the power. Thanks for the advice, 👍
Totally agree! I started on a 125 and 100 and it majorly helped me progress my technical skill and riding techniques which translate 1:1 to a bigger more powerful bike

I personally have the Apollo RFZ DB X15. Which is the exact same bike as the RFZ Open. He is right that it's different from the Apollo 007 and the Apollo RFZ DB X18, but I'm pretty sure my bike is the same as the RFZ Open except for the looks.
Also the motormounts are the same and the frame is the same on the RFZ Open and the RFZ DB X15.

Hey bro I bought 2 rxf bikes today and on one the rear wheel chain is really tight so what's the chain slack supposed to be? And the wheel is cocked to the left...
Need to set the chain tensioners correctly. About a 1”1/4

Its not so much in top speed, its that the carb makes the engine run better

Does your back spokes get lose when you ride with some one in the back
Your spokes naturally loosen over time! Get a spoke wrench and check em every ride!

If you’re two heavier people, you could most definitely tweak the rear rim, have spokes go outta alignment/loosen

Im 6’1 and “fit” the bike i would recommend some taller bars. Depends on what you’re expecting. If you want a pit bike this is on the larger side of them. If you want a a dirt bike its on the smaller side. I love the size

How tall are you? Anything from 5’4 -5’8 is ideal, but as you can tell a taller rider can still rip n have fun. Keep mind it will of course have the “pitbike” feel to it (aka smaller overall size)
Be super careful buying one of these used, if they weren’t cared for it’s probably clapped

If its your first dirt bike this will be plenty power and its the perfect size for you
Just do a couple mods before you go out so you dont have to worry about something breaking or falling apart etc and these bikes will take you out adventuring

With the speed mod i have and the 150 swap i can hit 92km/h on a dirt road (57mph) And thats with my smaller wheelset. I get my larger wheels soon here and will retest . Probably hit 60mph

That's too big of a cc to be a pit bike it's a dirt bike
The definition of a pitbike is a bike that has a horizontal engine. There are 212cc pitbike class races. Just because its not 50cc mini kids bike doesn’t mean its not a pit bike. This is a pitbike, just a big one.
Googles definition:
“A pit bike is a small recreation, stunt or motocross racing motorcycle. Usually defined as having a horizontal air cooled engine and an open cradle frame”
Both of which my bike is open cradle and horizontal engine. The more you know
