Really like your spray pattern. By the time you get to the face of the rim, a lot of the faraday areas are already coated by the framing. Another great video. 👌Thank you for sharing.
Can u give me some insight as to why I'm continually getting orange peel on my parts but the wheel hangers, "which are eye bolts" look amazingly perfect.?
If I bought the system. I’m trying to wrap my head around how the air hooks up. Could you use a air hose and fitting? If bot. How does it hook to the air compressor?
I run the Quincy QT54. It’s a 5 hp 60 gal with a little over 15 cfm at 90 psi. It’s been plenty of air for my set up so far. The air compressor will keep up and shut off while continuous blasting with my pressure pot.
@@royalcoatspowdercoating then you have good lab guys coz here where i leave yiu have to be very specific with them or they will destroy all your fantasies...im thinking to do the same glossy black for my blue Jag...
Great video. Love how they turned out. I'd like to do my truck the same. Is the mirror black Super Mirror Black from Columbia Coatings? Thanks for your help.
Ball valves are a weak point but cheap to replace. They last me quite awhile. The nozzles last an extremely long time. Way better to use than the deadman that they come with and a lot easier on the hand.
What does that small line on the gun control next to the powder delivery and electric lines? I have an kk3.0 gun but nothing is mentioned about it in the manual
@@Mdkayakangler it works very well. I’m also running a pressure pot into my cabinet which helps out a lot. If you haven’t done that I’d suggest it. Makes more dust in your shop but the blast time is cut down big time. I put my cabinet in a separate room to keep most of the dust out of my shop.
I change it up a lot. Sometimes I run the Gema recoat setting at 100kv and I think 12 micro amps and then sometimes I run my own settings anywhere from 45-65kv and 12-30 micro amps
great job, just want to ask sir mirror black powder from prismatic?thx

Thanks! The Gema really helps with a lot of the wrap around.
Looks amazing! What was the cure parameters for the black and clear?
The black was cured about 5-7 minutes after flow out and the clear was cured to prismatic’s specs

I would start by checking your mil thickness of the powder. You can use one of these to do so: amzn.to/3yGrUeo
Nice job 👍 looks awesome 😎. I manage a powder coating facility and I really like the end result thanks for sharing 👍
Appreciate it 👍🏼
Great video! How many lbs of black and clear each do you need to cover those 4 rims?
2-3 pounds of each will do it
If I bought the system. I’m trying to wrap my head around how the air hooks up. Could you use a air hose and fitting? If bot. How does it hook to the air compressor?
You will just use an air hose that you use on your other air tools. There is a male quick connect fitting on the control box.
@@royalcoatspowdercoating awesome. Thank you for the that!
Fantastic job them wheels look amazing. Keep up the good work
Thanks!
Gema gun is back , nice work
Been a real struggle without it lol thanks!
Great video and looking great!
Do you think 2k clear coat would stick and protect black semi gloss powder coating?
If you’d rather paint clear than powder it I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. But I’m no painter either
Wht color did use thts sick
It’s gloss black with clear on top
At what stage do you remove the high temp tape mate , cool videos
Where can I get one of them sandblasting nozzles that you are using
Here’s the link! amzn.to/3M7Ze2S
Hey man awesome videos! What air compressor are you running? I have a kobalt 60 gal but it’s just to small.

What did you use for the foundation and chrome color ?
These are just gloss black
How much would this cost to do
Something like this would start at $125/wheel
Looks amazing 🔥
I still dont understand however the way layers are applied...clear black matt then glossy then white then black glossy again 🤯
Thanks! It’s just the way the colors are formulated I guess. I leave that to the lab guys though lol

Thank you! The mirror black is from Sherwin Williams
Would super black chrome from prismatic powders give a similar result?
Hi...How tuff is that kennametal sandblasting gun is

That is your electrode rinsing air line
@@royalcoatspowdercoating ok thanks a lot, so I just blow air through it to clean it
@@kariymchristopher6986 no problem, I don’t ever clean mine, only clean air travels through it.

Which clear are you using?
This is clear vision from prismatic
What compressor and nozzle are you using?
Using a Quincy QT 54 and an 1/8 nozzle and valve from Amazon

@@royalcoatspowdercoating Do you ever get micro scratches with mirror black if you don’t use clear? I was told to clear it to prevent this.
@@NgodRules yes I get them on any gloss black I’ve ever used after a full cure. I clear will help prevent that from happening
Do you sound?
Nice job dude.
