  • In this video I walk through the process of creating some realistic effects on these Accurascale PTA wagons.
Taking a look at paint bleaching effects and typical surface dirt seen on many pieces of rolling stock on the rail network.
All effects in this video are done by using vallejo air paints.

Theses are the best weathering results I’ve seen to date. I’ll be using these techniques for sure, amazing work.

Great result Tim and a very timely video as I've recently purchased a set of the VTG livery, fantastic models. Will be giving them a mucking up following the 'Master's' techniques. Hope you're all well, regards Bobby 'T'.

Hi Tim as always a very well explained video which has great results . I have a few of the Lima versions of the wagons so might have a go but using brushes as I have yet to bite the bullet and get an airbrush. I have one of the wagons with the orange end but want the all grey version so what would you suggest is the best paint matcjh for the grey ?

Hi, looking to follow your methods on a couple of wagons. Do you let the paint dry before applying the isopropanol alcohol mix?
