What a lovely thing to see you react to! Vildhjarta can be a challenge to get into, but they are so, so good. *I've heard someone else say that the drummer, Buster, has also described the music as 'elastic'. Interesting to hear someone else use that same word for it!
It's like the sophmore Vildhjarta record is taking us back with a time machine when they were considered Meshuggah legitimate heirs. Total avantgarde/experimental masterpiece, difficult to digest but worth it. Intelligent Djent Music. Uneven Structure they were pretty cool too at the time, "Februus" (2011).
@@justin4364 ehhhh i think ur right but thats if u compare everything to the sound of meshuggah and vildhjarta man, theres a band called No Oath thats absolutely heavy as shit like those two bands but they are quite different using more synth like atmospheric sounds in their songs their new album is worth a check.
@@boykidmanboykidman5420 I listen to No Oath, I wouldn't call them djent though they're kind of making their own new sound. I guess I was confusing, instead of saying *super heavy metal* I should have said as far as *djent* bands go - Vildhjarta/Meshuggah are the kings and nobody else really comes close imo.
Yes! Do more from this album. I will watch every video you do of this band. Vagabond, Passage Noir and Paaradiso are my favorites but also Toxin and Kaos 2. haha. Could name most of the album.
These guys are the pioneers of "Thall" if that could be coined a genre like Djent was. The main difference between the two being Thall has excessive (in a good way) metric modulation and a crap ton of ambience on top of the Djent goodness. In terms of Key, they generally shift Key a bunch of times in songs by the use of effects like the Digitech Whammy. All in all, this was album of the year for me. It took a bunch of listens to fully digest all the music as there's 80 minutes of it in the album, but I loved every minute of it.
It's like just when you thought you caught what you hearing correctly and started to find the groove that was gone and you're now experiencing what you're trying to figure out where this is going and it doesn't stop until it stops.
This is very experimental and maybe not the best place to begin. But their breakthrough-album "Måsstaden" was just released as a remastered version and it fucking slaps. Check out "Dagger" from the album called "Måsstaden (forte)"
With all my love for vildhjarta, this is not the best track to start with - it's a decent song and a great vibe, but it's far from being the most interesting, be it from this album or in general

This album is easily in my top 5 albums of 2021. These guys are so far ahead of their time.
They are not for everyone …. But they are fuckin brilliant 🤘

Oh jesus Februus was such an epic record
Imo as far as the super heavy metal genres go, theres meshuggah, vildhjarta, then everything else more or less sounds like elevator music djent.

My favorite album of 2021!!! Kim is right--not for everyone, but brilliant and crushing!

Best band , best album 2021 🤘🔥🤘
This whole album from start to finish is a must. It is nothing short of a masterpiece in the genre.
Thanks for checking out Vildhjarta

Please, react to Den Helige Anden by Vildhjarta... a REAL experience and a masterpiece.
This album is bonkers
you should react to buster doing playthroughs on the drums. its amazing 🤘
I would recomend Den heliga anden or Toxin for next song
I second 'den helige anden', I feel that it contains more of Vildhjartas classic elements. toxin is a banger, though!
Vagabond is good as well!
@@MassHysteriaHD Vagabond and Sunset Sunrise are my favorite off the album but I mean every song is like 9/10
