1925 Chelsea Regeno Three Restorations - One Model 140 and two Magnet ZR-30s

We will restore three Regeno Three radios, including one Chelsea Model 140 and two Gimbel Brother's branded Magnet ZR-30 regenerative receivers. The Chelsea Regeno Three, which is a the predecessor to the Gimbel Brother's Transoceanic ZR-4 radio and Chelsea Model 122, was the last regenerative receiver produced by Chelsea Radio Company in Chelsea Massachusetts. The case is a slant face all mahogany radio that removes the terminals, headphone jacks, coil selector and provides a metal chassis to cover the inner workings of the radio. We will simultaneously restore 3 out of 4 radios that we have. This will include refurbishing the cases, face plates, parts clean-up, fabricating a wiring harness, and restoring the dual transformers and coming up with the schematic diagram. We will also discuss how it operates and witness all three receiving stations. This video was 4 months in the making, and in the end we now have 3 Chelsea Regeno Three radios back into operational status.
