Sometimes that’s the only thing that helps. Most of mine releases itself in the shower especially after a death or something tragic. The night Hurricane Laura came thru my aunt had a heart attack. She passed away 2 days later. Basically I’m an empath anyway so I feel everything deeply whether I just hear a story of someone or if it’s my personal experience. The state of our country right now has brought me many many tears. It’s heartbreaking how low mankind has fallen. Music is my escape and the Nelson family never disappoints. 🦋🦋🦋

He was also a big Willie Nelson and country music fan, and I was so very lucky to fulfill my bucket list of seeing Willie, and Lukas and Micah and Promise of the Real last year at the Outlaw Festival in Forest Hills, Queens, NYC!

This is absolutely amazing. One of my favorite artists of all time covered by some of the most talented modern artists.
This song really helped me get through 2020. I love how, in the same song, Lennon can simultaneously express deep skepticism with a line like, "They give me all kinds of advice designed to enlighten me," but also make a statement as profound and 'enlightened' as, "I tell them that there's no problems, only solutions."
The best rendition I ever heard. of course it is Willie Nelson. Not to mention, if those are his sons, they are a chip off the old block. a lot of talent in this family.
I much prefer your version over John's, it's just a magnificent song. I must also admit that Willie's voice, though not so strong anymore because of age, is something different, heavenly, special, touching your soul - a real gift from the Almighty.

I think the whole country is dealing with turmoil of some kind. I don’t think God appreciates what is happening in this beautiful country he made for us. People are destroying it. Things have to change. Everyone should appreciate the beauty that’s still left. We may not have it some day. It doesn’t take not one cent to practice kindness or to give someone who is hurting a hug.
