Seed: 1056273028 (drive down for a bit, the first landmark will be a garage)
This is a road trip game in an almost infinite random generated desert. The focus is on freedom, driving, exploration and immersion. It has minimal car maintenance and survival elements.
Infinite Desert, Freedom and Driving:
There are no invisible walls or unable to jump over small fences, or blinking red "wrong direction" signs on the hud. The car won't need 10-20 liter fuel over just only a few hundred meters, with a full tank, you could go approximately 500 kilometers. If you see a distant big mountain, you can go there and if you are capable, you can climb it. If you don't like where the mirrors are facing you can adjust them however you want or throw them away while driving at full speed. If you want to lean out of the car, or closer to the radio or near anything, you can.

i work as car mechanic and ive worked on countless engines before its mostly bodywork nowadays but i found this incredibly funny because i thought he was joking when he said he knew nothing about engines apart from "bigger is better"
and if anyone is actually wondering those "thingys you see on the titanic" are called carburetors they are a form of fuel delivery that injects fuel from the fuel tank the fuel is pulled by a fuel pump electronicky or mechanically once fuel enters the carburetor the fuel sprays out into the engine and combusts by spark from the spark plugs mixing with the air providing internal combustion making the engine run.
they were mostly used on older cars from the early 1900s up until the mid 80s they were replaced by fuel injection in the 80s and became standard on all new cars by the late 90s however carburetors are still used today by car enthusiasts who love older cars because carburetors are easy to fix and adjust with common hand tools fuel injection is not like this.
They also are air intakes too
Bud those would be air cleaners. Its hooked directly to the carburetor so it can get the correct fuel/air ratio.
@@AffureKitsune An air filter... I have never heard anyone call it an air cleaner (I could be wrong but I have never heard that). Also if it is a 2 carb engine then the carburetors have air filters on top of them... SO he was right to say that the "thingys you see on the titanic" are carburetors and you could also be right... If you meant air filters.

the game "The Slaverian Trucker" had a great feature in it I'd love to see in The Long Drive where you had a tool that would allow you to reposition vehicle components, so you could for example place wheels lower or higher to change the center of gravity of a vehicle like yours, or lift a car up higher, or even place a single wheel out the rear or place the engine in the trunk instead of the engine bay..
I wish it was in vanilla game, theres mods for that

The absolute madlad put a V8 in a Golf and drove it around the desert with 3 wheels for a bit. The only thing that would've made it crazier would be the turbo mod.
Also, did not know you could use wheels against the rabbits, that's pretty clutch.

This video was hilarious. I would really like to see you play more of this game in the future. It doesn’t have much of a goal but drive but you manage to make it fun and entertaining. I play this game a lot myself and its fun to drive more down the road to get the basics to keep the car going. But I’ve never made a makeshift car so perhaps I’ll have to try it now.

@@Pr1vateLime Well, apparently there is a limited content VR test branch of this game, though no hands tracking is implemented yet. Kind of lame for a game which is all about grabbing stuff. Hope the dev don't abandon it though.

The bus is an Ikarus 280, popular in the eastern block back in the day. Truck was an Ifa - weirder in real life. In fact apart from the VW Golf (Rabbit) you were driving it was all eastern block stuff.
