Sticking to tradition, the last cutscene prelude to the DLCs, in Wo Long case it hinted at the battle of Chi Bi, a massive naval battle between Cao Cao and the Coalition of Liu Bei and Sun Quan, and this battle lead directly to the formation of the three Kingdoms. Yu Ji is a healer in the lore, and ironically he was killed by Sun Ce, cause he was swaying the heart of the people(damn).

So Myth funny thing, from what I can find, Yuji is always prorated as a doctor or healer anyway a miracle worker equivalent that the governments hate and ended up killing him much like how the kings wanted to kill Jesus. Also I think I just figured out who Blind Boy is, so if you know the novel this time period is based on, based on what the Blindfolded Boy’s vision and character designs at the end of the game it’s safe to assume he is the character “Zhu GeLiang” who is known as “Mr. Wolong” in the novel which might be why the game is named “Wolong” as well.
This game has been an absolute delight and I love this history that this game is based on. It motivated me to persist and keep going through the whole game. I used your videos as a motivating factor to stay ahead so I could experience the whole game on my own and then enjoy how your reactions were to each and every boss! In the Record of the Three Kingdoms which is the historical document Romance of the Three Kingdoms based on, Diao Chan does not exist, she was essentially a really beautiful courtesan that both Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu liked, and the reason Lu Bu eventually backstabbed Dong. Although serving as the same role, Diao Chan was dramatized in the novel and was given a name. Either way, the bloodline connection between Lu Bu and Diao Chan is completely fictional. 2. Yes, the city XiaPi actually got flooded by Cao Cao. And Zhang Liao (last video’s boss) was actually recruited by Cao Cao after Lu Bu’s defeat. 3. Taoist in the Black’s name is Yu Ji, he was said to be a Taoist Priest. Even Confucius himself once commented on him, describing him as a manipulative, cultist character that can fool everyone around him easily. 4. Just an extra: The basic arc so to speak for this period of history can be separated into about three parts: 1. The Yellow Turban Arc (Rebellion gone wrong alerted warlords in the country to come together); 2. The Dong Zhuo Arc (挟天子以令诸侯, which translated to control the emperor control the warlords, is what Dong tried to achieve, by invade the capital of LuoYang. Hey Myth, you should play the NG+ difficulty! totally changes the game and makes it an actual challenge. also there are 3 dlc's planned already you should get the season pass and be on the lookout for them.
Lu Bu didn't have a sister as far as I know he did have a wife and daughter and a concubine in the fictional Romance of the 3 kingdoms. I just miss that he isn't a asshole in Wo Long the fact that he betrayed literally everyone is the best part of his character
Both Nioh and Wo Long often depicted most, if not all, of the non-villain characters in their story as well-meaning good guys, if not a bit tragic. Like Cao Cao here is depicted as a gentleman who won't leer at lady Zhen, and actually honorable enough to reward Guan Yu with Red Hare when it comes the time for Guan Yu to leave to catch up with his brothers. And in here, Lu Bu is depicted as self sacrificing brother to Hong Jing, although he'll probably still be known to the masses as the betrayer that he was in the source material. Most of the characters will still die in the same/similar event when their historical counterpart die though. Sun Jian dies from arrows. Dong Zhuo dies trom Lu Bu's betrayal due to Diao Chan's involvement. Lu Bu dies after besieged by Cao Cao, while Zhang Liao survived. Etc. For an example of Nioh counterpart, the story (of Nioh 2) never touched upon all the slaughtering that Nobunaga commanded, choosing to depict him as a loving husband and good lord despite his eccentrics instead. He still dies in Honnoji incident. Long after his demise, he's still known as 'someone worthy to become a demon lord', which led to his (temporary) resurrection in Nioh 1.

Would you play this game through with funny and specialized builds? Or you let it rest until the DLC's? I did a "mud" build, but im just at after the first monkey and i didn't ound any useful weapon for my stats.
If you liked the story of this game I’d recommend playing any of the dynasty warriors games apart from 9 cause it was awful. You’ll learn so much about all the characters and you’ll figure out who that was at the end of the game.
I actually wondered why we didn't get to hang with Zhuge Liang, during the series! :D That makes sense, now! Also in the Wiki I just learned that he was also called "Hidden Dragon", so there we go. His tendency to try to discern fate by reading the stars makes sense that way, too.
i havent gotten the game yet...but as ive watched this played out, i know the reason im going to prefer this game for a long while is that it plays by the rules established in the game. no such thing as unblockable or anything like that...
listen to me, go watch the Three Kingdoms 2010 Tv show so you can understand the significance of the last cutscene it's 95 episodes but well worth the time
first lu bu fight is better. i feel like the protaganist gets way too OP in this game lol. Especially if you play into your build's strengths. I had a full set of gear with a set bonus and every bonus i wanted on my weapons and armor before the end of my first playthrough. Granted i did all of the sub battlefields because that's how i play my games. The hardest fight in the game is in a sub battlefield in my opinion. At least it is what took my the most tries. I cant speak for new game plus because i went back to finish wild hearts before starting my second playthrough.
Respect your opinion, but for me honestly the game was hard to play due to repetitive maps, easy boss fights, and just over lack of creativity. The cut scenes were extremely corny and made me want to skip every one of them. I wish the builds had more of an impact as I ran through the whole game without even customizing my embedments on weapons/armor without ever being punished for it. I'd give it a 5 out of 10.
After doing every main and side mission, I must say I enjoyed the game... but to be completely honest, I would have rather had Nioh 3. Wo Long just felt too watered down in many aspects, which I understand appeals to some who thought the Nioh games were over the top. I mostly liked the parrying mechanic, but at the same time, it made other aspects of combat (using spells and martial arts) feel much less impactful. Ultimately, the game gets a solid B overall in my opinion.
I managed to get the title boy possessed by yuiji ( beat blindfolded boy unscathed ) and I did it by joining someone needing help and just spamming the spell that deters one enemy attack spammed it for the whole fight got the title 🤣if you call in help you can't get the title but if you go in and help someone your titles still count

Theres a slight boss rush mission at the final chapter, its a level 100 mission u should def do it even if u dont record it :)

You have to max out the respective persons friendship bar in order to get that persons unique stuff
