I never knew Eric Carmen sang all the songs I liked on the radio as a kid. Carmen had to die before I realized it was him singing all the songs I loved as a kid...😢 I always knew what Eric Carmen looked like. So said, I Never realized till Now 🤔...🎉
My case exactly. I didn't know that the amazing charming singer of my favorite song Hungry eyes was the same singer of " Alll by myself" the favorite song of my dad. I realized that two years ago... Neither I knew that Make me lose control was also his , yet when I heard it after his death I knew the lyrics by heart even if I haven't heard it since 1990!! I love him and I thank him for the memories❤😢
Gotta love his 80's Jewfro. Great video btw!
70s
I have always enjoyed Eric.
Oh, yes, his music, too! ❣️
Me too!
Eric was the best at what he did as well as a wonderful person! He is trulyissed
Eric Carmen is mostly retirement living high on the hog. The royalties from Dirty Dancing are still paying pretty well. Nevermind all the other songwriting and producer credits he has.
He is still around and a great patriot.
Eric Carmen 1949-2024
Met Eric in 1969.....he was frontman in band Cyris Ierie....they played big NY club the Electric Circus. The Band sounded like the Who and Small Faces....
Rest and peace ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
i demand every video have a sung intro from this point forward.
Great talent but I couldn’t help but notice the strange resemblance to Siegfried and Roy toward the end of this video.
Brilliant work with the ‘Berries. Everything after that was AOR schlock, IMO.
Glad you weren’t his manager then… 😊
I loved the Raspberries when l was a kid. I was 12 when l heard go all the way for the first time. I personally was into drums and although we were very young, the few of us that couldn't go a day without practicing music and songs wanting us to be a great sounding band. Rock music was at its best then and, Eric and the Raspberries was one of my favorite influences. My own Mother loved them along with us and wanted us to do I Wanna be with you so much she went to the local music store to buy out all the 45's that would replace the worn records. Yes, we only had records in the 70's but Eric's contribution to rock was another reason I'm so grateful for all the music l was fortunate to grow up with and to have a mom that bought my first Ludwig set in 1971. God bless Eric Carmen And my mom, I'm sure she's up there telling telling Eric the whole story! Haha. The love and the great memories will live on forever. ❤
LOVE ERIC CARMEN
Should I wait is the name of the song David smiley sings that song when The raspberries were together. It's an awesome song and Harmony is so on track.
RIP at 74 😢😢😢😢
I do like the song Overnight Sensation when he was with the Raspberries.👍🏻😎
