Watchin' Adam Hughes draw was a joy I can not explain. Thx soooo much for filming him for so long lol It was awesome. You guys got to meet so many great artists, & see them in action. These OAX vids are pure gold.
It is so cool getting to watch a master at work. Awesome of Adam Hughes to let you do that. Watching your series of videos has made me make a decision. Once I can, I'm getting a commission done for sure. I need to have some rare art in my collection. I'm going to have to do some major research! I'd want it to be something they've never done before. Plus something they are comfortable with. While still having fun creating the piece. Getting to hear all the artists' backgrounds from the artists themselves is amazing, too. Thank you for sharing all of this.
You dont get much for $100 bucks from Hughes!... Must be trying to make up for all those free ones.😂 Great vids guys! This OAX series of vids was awesome. I dont collect original art and I think the only stuff i would want would be way out of my price range so ill stick to the comics, but this was lots of fun to see. That black and blue and white Batman drawing that other guy did in your sketch book was awesome!
Literally he spent 2 minutes on the spawn drawing for $100 I would have just got the free sketches but I met him years ago when he charged $150 for a full commissioned drawing with Shadows I am grateful I was able to meet him years ago and get a a fully rendered sketch but still cool to have a drawing from him he is a legend how to do free sketches that's awesome congratulations
So awesome to see Adam Hughes doing those little sketches and signing comics, also the CatWoman and Spawn inked sketches that he did on your comics were absolutely amazing! please keep doing more videos like this, showing artists on conventions is fantastic.
you gotta put "Adam Hughes sketching" or something in your video title, its so hard to find good vids of him drawing and you got a ton in this one video, AMAZING!!
People are saying Adam Hughes doesn't want to be there but he seems perfectly pleasant to me especially given that he's giving free art to at least a third of the people in that line.
I was very curious to see your interaction with Adam Hughes. What did you guys think of him? I wouldn't say this is a situation where you shouldn't meet your heroes but there is something about him that just seems off and I can't put my finger on it. From my experience he did seem unapproachable. I wouldn't say he was rude but very quiet? With that being said I'm still a fan.
Can I ask: did you bring your own blank sketch covers or were they for sale at the show? I just bought my ticket to OAX 2025. Any tips on being prepared? Thanks for the great video.
Going to be honest, if I saw Adam Hughes on the Guest Artist List, I wouldn't even go to his table. He just looks like he doesn't want to be there and feels forced to be there. Didn't even look like he wanted to do his sketches either or sign really. Might be because he probably thought, these people are just going to sell this stuff on eBay so I'll put low effort in.
You're the reason artists appear to give attitude at these shows. He's drawing something - for you - on the spot - one of a kind - one request after another, most of them for FREE - creating art out of thin air, and folks like you look at it and go, huh... I shudda got more for my hundred clams. What - so you can flip it on Ebay the next day and feel like a hero? How much more should they have got?
Way to freak out snowflake. For $100 he spent like 45 seconds more on it, don't know about you but $100 is 1 to 2 days of work for some people, so they work 16 hours to pay him, he could at least spend 5 to 10 minutes on it.@@kcewing1
Everyone of ALLEN Huges sketch cards, looked the same. He just changes a little bit here and there, but the faces are always profile with the same look. It was nice that he was giving them away, but there was very little diversity.
sry artist couldnt care less what they wanted. Dont know who he is but seemed like he was ready to leave at any moment and could give a shit less what people wanted. The Leo he drew was quite bad growing up on TMNT that lazy drawing just due to named artist is accepted is not ok. drawing with some sharpe and calling it art is kinda nutty
Adam Hughes a legend for doing those small sketches for free
Even 100 is a pretty good deal for someone of Adam Hughes' level.
I'm not even into comics on ANY LEVEL, and yet I was so pumped up by this!! So very cool. I think we all can relate to meeting one of our heroes!!! :)
Adam Hughes is a Comic Icon. His autograph lines and commission lists are legendary! You all did really well!
I love watching Adam Hughes draw. I even bought his DVD one year at a show! LOL
Incredible footage. You guys have raised the bar, with the OAX content. 👍
What a fun video and great memory you captured for me. Thanks 🙏
Great video unbelievable buys!!!! Great sketches Adam Hughes is amazing so jealous of ur sketches!!!

It’s just amazing to watch him pop out those sketches one after another
Those are some nice Adam Hughes pick ups! Amanda Conner is class! Can’t wait to see what Bianchi does for you!
sick!
Love that FOIL She-Hulk! I was trying to find one of those when it came out! He did a really nice Hela variant for Thor awhile ago too...
Jimmy & Amanda are two of the sweetest people on the planet.
Another Great Video! Congratulations on The Adam Hughes Art.
Back to the times when I was young these guys are like my Rockstars!

Thumbs up on the Bianchi! I was fortunate enough to pick up some sketches and cover prelims back in the day ^^
Thank you for putting this up, great to watch and congratulations on your stash 😀👍

Good... Good... Show!!
Wow great interviews Adam sure can do a lot of sketches in a hour he was raking in the $$$$$

Those pigma pens are the truth, I got a set for art and a set for documents. Amazon is a tad cheaper then Michaels, great post as always guys, thanks!
Your OAX coverage is the best online by far - well done on capturing this event so well
I have a signed A.H. 9.8 Vampirella .. the way he draws females is fantastic.❤❤
People are saying Adam Hughes doesn't want to be there but he seems perfectly pleasant to me especially given that he's giving free art to at least a third of the people in that line.
Great video! Love watching Adam Hughes draw, but to be honest, he really looked like he didn't want to be there.
This is so Kewal! It's just like I'm there with you and Sara!
Enjoying the art show. Sorry I missed you today at Joe's. Work got in the way again!
Adam Hughes man! Wow! Just wow!
I was very curious to see your interaction with Adam Hughes. What did you guys think of him?

Dang, got that exact impression myself the couple of times I've seen him at shows.
I think he has a full time headache.... 😂
Paolo seems like a such a cool dude
Sick count
Nice upload ❤
Fantastic video
I will NEVER get tired of watching Adam Hughes sketching at the speed of Light.
sick!
Where you guys get the Hardcover art sketch book ??
Adam Hughes Spawn sketch is killer!
Adam Hughes is a chad for sure 💪💪
Can I ask: did you bring your own blank sketch covers or were they for sale at the show? I just bought my ticket to OAX 2025. Any tips on being prepared? Thanks for the great video.
I'd like to know what is that thing Paolo has attached on his drawing pad? Looks like a handle, anybody knows?
Adam Hughes seemed tired. I guess drawing all day can get to someone

Didn't even look like he wanted to do his sketches either or sign really. Might be because he probably thought, these people are just going to sell this stuff on eBay so I'll put low effort in.
Hughes didn't look happy to be there.
He's actually like that. I met him last year and he acted the same. I wouldn't say he was rude, but he did seem very unapproachable.
@@gc8262 I would tell him I don't want a side shot of the character just to see his reaction.
Adam hughes draws for free? Spur of the moment kind of thing?
You guys been here for 2 weeks lol
I feel like you should of got more for $100

Adam Hughes looks so annoyed to do 100$ head sketches.
O shut up he was perfectly pleasant you internet dweebs are pathetic
Adam Hughes looked miserable…
Angelo back pedaling coz he cant afford Del Otto's art. lol
Everyone of ALLEN Huges sketch cards, looked the same. He just changes a little bit here and there, but the faces are always profile with the same look. It was nice that he was giving them away, but there was very little diversity.
If he changes them all the time, people will question if they are really his.
Ever heard the phrase "looking a gift horse in the mouth?" Google it...
The last artist was there just for the money not the fans lol. How sad.
sry artist couldnt care less what they wanted. Dont know who he is but seemed like he was ready to leave at any moment and could give a shit less what people wanted. Oh if only Kim Jung gi is alive😢 he could have drawn so many awesome sketches
