Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your videos. I am a lapsed comic book fan from the early 90s who got back into it this past year. Your videos have definitely reignited a passion/hobby for finding not just old books from my youth, but finding weird and interesting books in interesting places. I made my way to a warehouse sale last weekend (300,000 books priced at 50 cents a piece), and was able pull such fun books. Thank you for making these!

Beautiful presenting copy of ASM 100, even if mid-grade. On camera, it looks phenomenal tbh. I got some great Romita Sr. at Plastic City - I would absolutely love to snag a copy of that even for the $80 original tag!

Same, I live in Kentucky and there's basically none around here or they're poorly advertised. I struggle to find any good books in my area.
Over the years, I've lost so many characters in the Tomb of Horrors that a chill went up my spine when I saw you pull it out of that box ha!

I am so excited for you when you find great stuff. I really enjoy your videos for this reason. They depress me a little when I realize a lot of the great stuff that I sold off decades ago on Ebay. This was before cleaning & pressing and slabbing was a thing. I sold my Hulk 181 for $500, but this was before the X-Men movies started. If I had held onto it and gotten it graded, I could probably have paid off my mortgage. I was a condition snob when I used to collect. I had a lot of great keys and a lot of unusual stuff. I even had a completed Marvel Value Stamp book. (I wasn't the one who did it though.) I do still have some good stuff, but alas, not the treasure trove that it was.
I remember those hobbit books when they came, high quality paper and covers and super pretty art

Great deals!! Enterprise comics! I bought a bunch from them at the Western Mass show in Greenfield! Love that ASM the most( being a ASM collector!!) Another mention of Jim Starlin? Need to look into those Malibu ones more! LOL! I don't play D&D but my son does! Always great seeing the other stuff you get non comic related! Does it cost much for pressing comics? Does Jeff( Comic Spa) have a site or page?
Great video! In Denmark (where i live) we only have 1 "real" comic show per year, often with very overpriced books because of danish taxes. I hope to someday go hunting at The East Coast, where i can hopefully buy a comic book for a dollar (literally unheard of in Denmark).

You just showed a trifecta of books I adore. I have asm 100 bc why not?? Batman but sadly it's a second print. I collect dd but don't own that one. Focusing on the silver age run and the frank miller run exclusively. Great video. You'll be at 15000 subs by the time you post all the terrific on content. I cant wait!

The funny thing is the first two are my favorite single marvel hero comics, Thor and Daredevil, then it is all the team books, like D.C. It is Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and their team books!!! GaryBailey God of Thunder and Lightning

Keep On the Borderlands is the greatest sandbox module ever written!
However, Tomb of Horrors is more famous or should I say infamous Great for a one shot and I love all the ways people have beaten the module.
People always say it’s not what you know, but who you know. Those deals were headed for you because of who you are and no other reason.

ASM#100! I had #100- #102, #139 & #150 all in VF or better condition signed in silver or black sharpie by John Romita SR too. I traded them away in exchange for a lot of pressing, cleaning/ washing. And like two hundred E. Gerber Silver Age back boards and mylars.

@@AMR_productions I mostly hear through Instagram, sometimes a certain vendor will list their shows, but in general just word of mouth
Was that dealer aware that his Thor was missing the MVS? $75 is a little over the top for an incomplete book.
missed last month. I know 1-2 shows ago one guy had Batman #121 1st Mr freeze
What?? That batman 423 is seriously that kind of money ? I had it in my batman collection along with a great run from #401 through to # 530.. nothing after then as that's when I had to get rid of my stuff..
Had loads through the 300' not as many in the 200 ' and a nice smattering in the 100's such as a lovely copy of 181. All had to go as I needed a few quid & I couldn't move what I had as I had to move home quickly.
I dabble here and there now but I won't start collecting again
I would have had to save all that D&D stuff. Very under valued market imo

Best way to save money is don't go looking, it's hard to not to look it's like a decease, especially the demon that is eBay. I currently spend 100-140 a day whilst still trying to fund the hobby by profits but it's soooo hard to not hold onto something that you really want to keep but don't need. Thus not making money/ These video's don't help, it gets the juices flowing to go for a quick look haha.
