great video you should get a large negative rake scraper and maybe bowl roughing gouge then you can get rid of the 60 and80 grit sand paper you have many impresive tools already keep up the good work ill be watching

Almost reached your target and I think you hit bullseye with this one really like the pale colour and the grain in darker and iam so glad you at last made a pedestal style bowl absolutely gorgeous keep them coming peace out
It is sometimes more pleasurable and quicker to start the roughing cuts from the bottom as push cuts toward the sides. That way you can ride the bevel along a clean cut and don't get the banging from the spindle type cuts of an irregular starting shape. This is a beautiful piece.
I am not a wood turner. I watch wood turning videos because I find them relaxing. Your pleasant voice makes your videos extra relaxing.
