Actually in the original Wizard of Oz, her subconscious made the fortune teller into 4 characters. The guy at the front door of the city, the carriage driver in the Emerald city, the guard in front of the Wizard's room, and of course, the wizard.
I always thought the carriage driver, the guard at the wizard's door and the guard at the city entrance were all the same character just in different disguises. 💀

Dorothy played by Grey DeLisle...doesn't sound like she normally does. She sounds great! Just not what I am used to. I figured she'd be cast as the witch, and seems like a role she'd really enjoy. Hearing her as sweet Dorothy is not something I'd imagine, but she does a good job!

Also a fun fact: The original was not the first adaptation. The first was a silent film that is now lost, like 90% of other silent films.

I've actually heard that that one was pretty good. The late Earl Kress wrote the script for it. I remember when the Tom and Jerry & the Wizard of Oz movie first came out, he clearly stated on a cartoon forum that he had no hand in this one. XD!

+Cosme McMoon Actually, Hanna-Barbera has been doing crossovers between their shows since the 70s. I don't think they ever really had a consistent universe though, so that might be tricky to pull off. Unless they rip off Kingdom Hearts and give each series its own little world.

I actually never seen Wizard of Oz. I always wanted to but never really got the chance. So that one scene at the critic asked " if you never seen it" I won't lie it sounds interesting but I'm pretty sure it's not really bad interesting or that weird. Pretty funny though.
Maybe it was amazing back in the day, nowadays it's just akward. Especially for people like me who don't like musicals.

Honestly, the idea of a Tom and Jerry and classic movies cross over could work you just need the right movie that compliments the slapstick of Tom and Jerry.

Not gonna lie, Tom's facial expressions in this movie were hilarious. He's the only one reacting to the madness around him, in a constant "whyyyy is this happening to me?" situation.
I’ve actually seen Tom and Jerry Spy Quest a couple of time. As to be expected, it’s a Spy Quest story with Tom & Jerry stuck in there. For some reason a small bit where Jerry hits Tom with a steak was the only thing that really resonated with me.
Also absolutely loved the “Go home movie you’re drunk” remark. Far too funny for its own right.
When you realise why Tuffy's voice sounds familiar:
He's voiced by Kathie Soucie.....who voices the DeVille Twins AND THEIR MOM BETTY from rugrats 😭😳😳😂

In a way Scooby Doo made sense
They both delt with the supernatural with Mystery Inc dealing with proving its not real while Supernatural is hunting it
Dean and Sam could get along perfectly with everyone without it being forced and can get laughs
While Tom and Jerry needs a character like Tuffy to interact with everyone since Tom and Jerry don't speak

With Jerry dropping the lid of the Ark of the Covenant on Tom.
Almost true. The biggest impact that Indy has is somehow getting the ark off the island, yet we never saw how he did it. It would be like somebody in Star Wars mentioning that Luke destroyed the Death Star, but we never actually saw the battle.
