No where near photography but the color choice on your thumbnail is so on point it caught me. This the vibe im about and your very clear and concise. Props
Super helpful ! There are videos comparing the two but this video tells you that getting one before the other is a good path to take. This is exactly what i needed. Thanks !
show some examples next time. like when you say "ive shot everything from fitness (fitness video) automotive (cut to automotive clip), fashion (cut to fashion clip) good info but its hard to watch an 8 and a half minute video of someone talking into the camera a good rule of thumb is to not let each clip run longer than 15 seconds . ideal clip length is 9-15 seconds
I also like the thumbnail color, its what drew me in. I think you need to add more visuals to your video though to keep people engaged. show more of what you're talking about!
Argh, another cut and paste "film" youtuber... everyone has the opportunity to be different but then you go just follow the same format: jump cuts, loves to talk but shows little to no B Roll, and uses the same style template text that literally everyone uses...
Hey Sam thanks for the comment. My instagram is @robtrent_ I have a lot of BTS & final images over there, so if you are looking for that there is plenty. Definitely going to include more B-roll in the future however this video was less about cool b roll and more about the concept. The specific reasons I work with the cameras I work with and my experience with them.
Totally unacceptable for RED company to crop @60 FPS and 120 FPS on this camera to where it's not even usable. But don't worry RED's marketing team is working on the next Beta camera they can hype up and sell to their fanboys.
Camera might just not be for the type of work you are doing. Personally I don’t use high frame rate often so it doesn’t bother me. Okay to use cameras for different types of work.
Great advice and terrific insights. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much Red! Hopefully I can make another thumbnail or two that will catch your attention! Thanks for watching

You got it! I’ll cut in some B-roll next time!
Komodo only balances easy if you have a short lens, which can be difficult to do, because you're usually using an adapter.
Why not the C300 Mark iii?
Great vid! Question for you, have you shot them both together in raw on a project? How do you find the color matching/skin tones etc?
Great job Rob! Keep going dude!
LOL..."it's pretty dumb to have on your profile, I got one on mine..." Nice video!
What about now that the Komodo X is out? Are you upgrading?
Great video bro! Love the office setup btw too
Good stuff Rob, greetings form Irvine!
Hey Rob! Nice content bro, just noticed that you're a lit bit out of focus! Despite that, red komodo is a huge good deal, I have one and I love it :)

You got it! Love the suggestion. Would you be more interested in B-roll or BTS of the actual use cases on set?
@@robtrent4167both would be good. Even if you were to just do a cinematic portrait type video.
YOOOO Love this man! Good work!
Thank you bro!
great video @ !
new office space looks fresh to death
Can you share your thoughts on whether a C100 Mark II is worth it in 2023? Thinking about picking one up soon. Thanks!
It’s not
That's a lot of nodes for a talking head clip in the background.
Haha! Just making the switch to resolve so having a bit of fun with the color
😆
Get the R5C
What’s r 3D??
R3D is the Codec that RED cameras shoot in. Gives you a lot of flexibility in post & is a very common codec so most people know how to work with it.

That's how all their cameras work...
