    Thank you so much Mike, as usual. Very much looking forward to your tail light restoration video! Mine are original and in need. I had to buy some EU spec replicas to bring the car to Japan (for ~$900 ea!!!) but they don't look right and don't fit with the seals. Would love to get the originals back on.

      Hello John
      Yes the aftermarket taillights and lenses leave something to be desired to say the least.. Not many solutions for replacing them..and very expensive too! Restoration and some trim work on the seals I've found the best way to get thru them.

    Thanks Mike, your busy putting out 2 vlogs'. I can't wait to see what your working on after electrics and sound deadening. I am still hoping for your engine to be rebuilt.

      Hello Richard
      Carpet installation coming up next..going thru editing now and should be available soon
      Plan is still to complete the body before diving in to the engine and transmission
      But we're getting closer!=)
      Yes you are right! The UK moisture can be hard in the cars for sure

    Wow, turning the blinker with the key out puts the park light on. I had Opel GT's that did that and I thought it was a factory flaw! Must be a European feature.

      Hello Amundsen
      Yes its strange for sure...First car I've owned that has that feature..I can't imagine acutely using it unless for a quick stop?

    Hi Mike, it is normal that the wiper arms motor do it saund lauda. In your video i understand that is so soft in a 3 position.
    Can you help me please.
    Michele.

      @MikesRestorations  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Michele
      Im not quite sure of your question saud lauda?
      The wiper motor has 3 speeds and the early cars were right hand park direction..
      Left hand park direction was later but not sure the year they began that direction
      The squirt can independently operate without wipes moving or can do both
