    I actually use peppermint oil after I clean my customers Bins. It is a natural bug repellent and it smell Great!

      If they refuse to pay you after providing your service, you should spray fart spray in their bin instead. If they call you, and ask you to clean it again, charge them double.

    if youre doing can cleaning and thats all " DO NOT GET INSURANCE!!!!!!" Its A WASTE of money. You will never need to use the insurance for any damages because there will never be any. and if so... The trash cans are like $80. Cheaper than insurance lol

    Here on long island , the towns by me have sanitation companies contracted thru the town so we don't have the nice big heavy duty cans. Everyone has cans they have to purchase.

      I assume you are talking about fast food etc.? You need to pre write your estimate, include insurance info etc. And the store GM forwards the bid to corporate who determines if the want your service.....

      Most people are okay with you using their water source. I use on location sources for pressure washing and carpet cleaning. Only maybe 1 out of every 50 customers says anything about it being unusual. And that is just due to a past experience they likely had being they are familiar with someone else having a portable water tank.

      Charge anywhere from $10 on up depending on the size of bin and how dirty it is..etc Buy supplies on Amazon in bulk..

    If I can do 20 cans per day charge 20 a can 20 x 20 is 400 a day I love it baby!!!!!!! And some people have two or more cans but will give them a deal if it comes to that.. but wow 400 a day is good money I just need a water tank… hmmm just thinking should I price it at 15 a can or 20?

    Love this ! My son is 14yo with his little driveway cleaning business for our neighbourhood. Should his new washer be 3400 psi at 9.5 L/min or 4000psi at 13 L/min ?
    Can he run a surface cleaner easily with both ?

      It shouldn’t matter too much if he’s just doing driveways so do whatever you can afford. Obviously 4000 psi would be better but it could be almost $1000 more because you have to get a better surface cleaner to go with it. Surface cleaner will work on both.

      9.5L would be fine for a little side gig! But 13 would be better and would be better compatible with a bigger surface cleaned

      It is illegal. The water is supposed to be collected into a sealed container and disposed of properly.

      Yes it is illegal to dump water on the grass or city street's...etc If caught you can face a fine of $500 on up and 90 days in jail per statue...etc city code.

    Anyone know pricing and good ways to clean actual dumpsters? I believe my city sanitation is open to someone cleaning the dumpsters and I think I could make a ton of money. But I’m not sure how to price and what to use to help get rust/graffiti stains without damaging the metal/paint? Anyone have any advice? If I can jumpstart my business with this contract for like 120 dumpsters I think I’ll be doing pretty good! But need some help before I go to the manager and look like an idiot

    One question I have is this:
    If a customer has trash at the bottom of the trash can and you have no truck but just a regular ol Honda, what's the probability of them being ok with you taking their trash and putting it inside a bag and once you are done cleaning their bin, the trash goes back inside their bin. Of course, it will be inside a bag.

      @@TRexRyu10909 Nope, but I also wouldn't pay a plumber to come fix a pipe, or a roofer to come fix a few shingles, because I can do it myself. If 70 dollars work for him in his local economy then by all means charge 70, no one but the business owner has to right to say they're overcharging, they put a price on the service they provide and if the economy accepts that price then they have a deal. Period.
