i think the grim reaper is just the drug in a symbolical form, its showing that since zoro took so much damage that if the drug takes effect then zoros basically dead
The Grim Reaper's skull looks exactly like Brooks, so that cooouuulllddd be Brook. At the same time, that could just be how Oda draws Skulls/ skeletons.
3:58 I never noticed this but the descriptions on the books about them when they are captured are pretty interesting. Makes me wonder how they got all that information though...
I love how the series is picking up so quickly now. Got me into making my own videos about one piece too. Plus your videos are a big inspiration as well.
You know on reddit I read that a possible theory is that the renamed devil fruit they were talking about was the Yomi Yomi no mii. The theory is that Brook in actually has the Hito Hito no mi: Model Shinigami or Grim Reaper
Brook fruit has special circumstances to awaken it's full potential. If Brook had revived like normal without decaying he would just of had a second life. So you would need to die in a foggy ocean then have the bad luck to get lost. Brook fruit however is definitely 100% a paramecia.
I think that' s Brook (and you can clearly see his afro under the cloak), so my guess is Zoro is actually seeing Brook who is checking on him but he's having hallucinations
I am pretty sure it wasn't the Grimm Reaper that Zoro saw but was the embodiment of Enma (King of Hell) itself. Which would make more since to me if it was a setup for Enma to let Zoro know that his battle with King some how proved Zoro was worthy of wielding it.
@@romram7984 That makes a lot of sense and is a interesting motivation, I'd also love this to be the Yomi Yomi no mi awakening and Brooke is just saving zoro by becoming Death. (I don't suspect either, and one piece is so cool almost anything could happen, but Oda will tie it together masterfully, or fix it later in an sbs.))
The thing that comes to mind about Niji's and Yonji's situation, it's that the big mom pirates can study them and replicate their upgrades and modifications, (the actual goal of the wedding was to get Germa's tech)
After getting run over by the sea train, maybe franky saw the grim reaper as well but was able to fix himself to fight it. It is a possibility that Franky will protect zoro by rematching an old foe
Oi, haven’t seen one of your videos in a while Tekking… I remember watching your bleach reviews all the time, it’s awesome you’re getting even more views since then, keep it up!
I’d love to see Brook just pop out behind Franky as he finds Zoro and Brooks talks Death into leaving and maybe sharing a joke almost like old friends?
The Death thing really reminds me of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (which Oda took inspiration from several times), maybe Franky just scares Death away, or someone else, before Death gets to Zoro. Or maybe Zoro has to overcome this, to become The King Of The Underworld/Hell, as he said before. In Greek mythology, Hell and the Underworld are the same. The underworld is just divided into different level, with Tartarus being Hell for the too wicked, Elysium being the heaven for heroes, kings and shit, and Asphodel for the rest. So, there is precedent.
With the whole Zoro and Grim Reaper deal, I really like what Liam on GrandLineReview said about it, that its just Brooke and Robin that are hiding/running from CP-0 and decided to disguise themselves like that. But Enma Bankai is to funny not to enjoy the thought of.
With the way the Grim Reaper appearing before Zoro, there is a likely chances that Zoro will saved by the spirit of those who he has a connection with. My first guess is that Zoro may be saved from the Grim Reaper by the spirit of Kuina, and comes to remind Zoro to keep fighting and stronger.
The backlash of the medicine is equivalent to feeling the wrath of 4 Yonkou and 2 commanders (to Zoro) if Zoro was a Saiyan, he'd get a hefty zenkai from that... Almost... Godly.
Couple things. For Eizo, I read a translation that said “Not one more step.” Which was fitting becuz Kid & Law are telling Big Mom the same thing by the end of the chapter. Him being on the brink of death and taking on Cipher Pol would be the death wish Usopp just spoke against, so I think Eizo’s like “… fuck.” Zoro: (Walk with me for a second) I’m a long time reader of Wolverine comics and there’s a particular arch (probably like 20 years ago) where Wolverine explains what happens when he “dies and comes back to life” with his healing factor. He says every time he dies he has to have a battle with the Angel of Death in order to come back to the land of the living. I immediately thought of this when I saw Zoro this chapter. Maybe it’s the Grim Reap saying what’s up to the new king?
Also Laws ability is named "Shock Wille". Wille is German (like all of Laws abilities) and means Spirit or Will (as in the will to live). So you could translate it to Shock Spirit or Spirit Shock.
Wanted to comment the same thing😅 and for the americans, it is basically pronounced like villain without the n (the best explaination that came to mind)
@@azmiraclegirl441 Non of the above lol. I dunno how exactly to explain it to english speakers because we pronounce E differently. So the word "Wille" starts like will but then the e is pronounced like the e in egg. Try to say willegg and then say it wouthout the gg part. There you have it.
it would have be better if Kidd screamed "ZA WARUDO!" Also, I don't think One Piece would survive as a series if Oda killed off Zoro. I'm pretty sure that would mean the world is ending.
Man, you are so brilliant. I really love your intros and in general your videos. I wish you all the best for your future and I hope that you will go on with your content, the best One Piece content ever existing. I really appreciate you man. Best wishes from Germany! :)
I think its actually the grim reaper and zoro might make a deal with the reaper. Because it’s easy to come to the conclusion that zoro is hallucinating but a good twist would be if the grim reaper tells zoro he’ll come back in 20 years or something to collect his soul
If it is the grim reaper, brook already met him when he died the first time. The encounter would not be that exciting. “Hey grim, someone die?” “This guy” “Not zoro! I guess im gonna call in that favor then.”

Don't know if that's makes a difference but that's why I love your ponderous mind on this things. Keep up the good work sir!
The thought that occurred to my mind: what if Death is Aigis Zero? Might be just under the mask, might be an ability, would otherwise make an interesting thematic Lucci vs. Death fight later.
After the fire blob covers Yamato she’s gonna appear after using her ice to clear the fire or not even just standing in it and just says “it is not oden if it is not boiled” or something along the lines of oden surviving a boiling so the fire is nothing
I don’t think brook has fought anyone major yet, he can sense the underworld perhaps he see’s zero and senses the grim reaper and we get a skeleton off
What if the Grimm Reaper fights Brook? And there are interactions like “finally, I’ve been looking for you Brook” “yohohoho moon god sanka, you will never catch me!”
I have a theory maybe the reaper appeared not only because he is nearly dead but because he said I wanna be the king of hell and if he wants to do taht he has to beat the current king of hell. The reaper
What do you think of Big Mom having a homie getting the poneglyth rubbing this entire time? Even if she loses, no point of setting up Pudding in the cover story, and in WCI and not going thru with it. I bet Pudding awakens her eye during the cover story and Big Mom gets Kaido's rubbing also.

That Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy reference was funnier than I wanted it to be
i think the grim reaper is just the drug in a symbolical form, its showing that since zoro took so much damage that if the drug takes effect then zoros basically dead
The Grim Reaper's skull looks exactly like Brooks, so that cooouuulllddd be Brook. At the same time, that could just be how Oda draws Skulls/ skeletons.
What IF Brooks Yomi Yomi no mi, is the fruit that the Gorosei change the name for. The awakening is mythical zoan Model shinigami?
@@MartinOsth that would be dope!!
3:58 I never noticed this but the descriptions on the books about them when they are captured are pretty interesting. Makes me wonder how they got all that information though...
The reaper to Zoro "Come over here and lets finish this"
Zoro "Ok sure", *walk in a different direction*
This comment is underrated
I love how the series is picking up so quickly now. Got me into making my own videos about one piece too. Plus your videos are a big inspiration as well.
You know on reddit I read that a possible theory is that the renamed devil fruit they were talking about was the Yomi Yomi no mii. The theory is that Brook in actually has the Hito Hito no mi: Model Shinigami or Grim Reaper
Interesting.
The problem: that would require brook to have lied the whole time. Ernies Lobby arc established those who eat a fruit know what fruit they ate
Brook fruit has special circumstances to awaken it's full potential. If Brook had revived like normal without decaying he would just of had a second life. So you would need to die in a foggy ocean then have the bad luck to get lost. Brook fruit however is definitely 100% a paramecia.
@@jasonbolding3481 no oda confirmed that that's not how devil fruit works and that's just a translation error
@@alvinip9128 where?
the grim reaper is so scary that oda changed his drawing style to represent him
I think that' s Brook (and you can clearly see his afro under the cloak), so my guess is Zoro is actually seeing Brook who is checking on him but he's having hallucinations
I am pretty sure it wasn't the Grimm Reaper that Zoro saw but was the embodiment of Enma (King of Hell) itself. Which would make more since to me if it was a setup for Enma to let Zoro know that his battle with King some how proved Zoro was worthy of wielding it.
Brooke shows up to fight grimboi wouldn’t be to bad either, and a little more believable, but love the idea of franky blasting death!
phrasing
I feel like death would have a vendetta against brook swing as how brook escaped death with his fruit
@@namakaleisure4916 Danger zone.
@@leveloct882 you better call kenny loggins.
The thing that comes to mind about Niji's and Yonji's situation, it's that the big mom pirates can study them and replicate their upgrades and modifications, (the actual goal of the wedding was to get Germa's tech)
Just imagining someone in the One Piece world having the Human-Human Fruit Model: Grim Reaper and fighting Franky now. Ghost meets the part-machine.
Your energy and positivity is contagious man, love your vídeos I haven’t missed any of them for months
After getting run over by the sea train, maybe franky saw the grim reaper as well but was able to fix himself to fight it. It is a possibility that Franky will protect zoro by rematching an old foe
I want this low-key
Oi, haven’t seen one of your videos in a while Tekking… I remember watching your bleach reviews all the time, it’s awesome you’re getting even more views since then, keep it up!
I’d love to see Brook just pop out behind Franky as he finds Zoro and Brooks talks Death into leaving and maybe sharing a joke almost like old friends?
Really appreciate the long videos,no matter what it is if it has Tekkings name and approval I'm watching.
Health in the red? No, Zoro's at zero and he's making death saving rolls at this point.
Nat 20 preferably
I think Zoro is hallucinate everything bc zou medicine and its actually brook helping him
The Death thing really reminds me of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (which Oda took inspiration from several times), maybe Franky just scares Death away, or someone else, before Death gets to Zoro.
What if with saying he'll become king of hell while wielding enma, he made an oath to legit become king of hell, but he has to die first.
Been waiting for your take on the chapter!
Brook just sees the grim reaper and he’s just like “DAD?!”
"you look pale! Yohohohohohooooo skull joooooke"
halarious
The backlash of the medicine is equivalent to feeling the wrath of 4 Yonkou and 2 commanders (to Zoro) if Zoro was a Saiyan, he'd get a hefty zenkai from that... Almost... Godly.
The intro to this video was so awesome i was scared first then cry laughed and fell from my chair ...nice one Tekking!
My personal theory is that Zoro is hallucinating and the reaper is Killer coming to help Zoro.
Couple things.
For Eizo, I read a translation that said “Not one more step.” Which was fitting becuz Kid & Law are telling Big Mom the same thing by the end of the chapter. Him being on the brink of death and taking on Cipher Pol would be the death wish Usopp just spoke against, so I think Eizo’s like “… fuck.”
Zoro:
(Walk with me for a second)
I’m a long time reader of Wolverine comics and there’s a particular arch (probably like 20 years ago) where Wolverine explains what happens when he “dies and comes back to life” with his healing factor.
The translation I read was Schockwelle, as is shockwave.
@@paulsander3799 I was reading the original version (on Manga Plus), in which it is "Shock Wille"
Is it pronounced "while," "Willy," or "will" because I hear "Willy" in my head and Shock Willy sounds kinky
@@azmiraclegirl441 Non of the above lol.
I dunno how exactly to explain it to english speakers because we pronounce E differently. So the word "Wille" starts like will but then the e is pronounced like the e in egg. Try to say willegg and then say it wouthout the gg part. There you have it.
every week tekking's intros get more and more elaborate
it would have be better if Kidd screamed "ZA WARUDO!" Also, I don't think One Piece would survive as a series if Oda killed off Zoro. I'm pretty sure that would mean the world is ending.
You really do have the most solid content, love this bro. The intro was top notch
Funfact: Laws Attack is named after the german word for shockwave ( Shock= schock and wave= welle )
If Franky can see Grimmy-boy, I want the only explanation to be: “saw this guy before, when I tried to save Tom.”
HI TEKKING! according to the anime (the scene where Marco Kicks the Big Mom Pirates ship) Mont-d'Or is at Wano trying to join up with Big Mom. Soooo Oven is the only one watching Yongi and Niji. Don't know if that's makes a difference but that's why I love your ponderous mind on this things. Keep up the good work sir!
I think this cover story is going to show how much an effect Sanji had on his dad.
Thanks for this chapter review tekking I was confused with it but not anymore
The thought that occurred to my mind: what if Death is Aigis Zero? Might be just under the mask, might be an ability, would otherwise make an interesting thematic Lucci vs. Death fight later.
After the fire blob covers Yamato she’s gonna appear after using her ice to clear the fire or not even just standing in it and just says “it is not oden if it is not boiled” or something along the lines of oden surviving a boiling so the fire is nothing
It would be sick if Zoro says not today, and uses his conquers to scare off the Grim Reaper.
Been waiting all day for this vid and the scythe did not disappoint
I don’t think brook has fought anyone major yet, he can sense the underworld perhaps he see’s zero and senses the grim reaper and we get a skeleton off
Fun fact! Corna dio means horn God. So Kid is yelling "PUNK HORN GOD"
What my theory is is that the grim reaper is there to inflict the double damage to Zoro.
Been waiting for this all day.
I really don’t think Big Mom will die in this arc, or anytime soon because wouldn’t Zeus go too? And the clima-tact upgrade would go to waste.
Tekking is a rockstar in his own right! Keep up the good work, Matt!! Supreme love and respect all the way from the Philippines
What if the Grimm Reaper fights Brook? And there are interactions like “finally, I’ve been looking for you Brook” “yohohoho moon god sanka, you will never catch me!”
Brook is in the basement rn though
Not even you would stop my promise with my old crew...
these chapzer reviews often make my day- thx tekking ; )
Nobody knows if Zoro saw the grim reaper during Thriller Bark, Because "Nothing Happened"
He wouldn't have asked "who the hell are you?" If he did.
Loving the intros lately man keep it up
Maybe Pudding frees Niji & Yonji then leaves with them. She might think of it as a favor to Sanji since I don't think she knows their history.
The title leading into the intro is just amazing work. High quality shenanigans right there. Wonder when we'll check in on Zoro next?
I have a theory maybe the reaper appeared not only because he is nearly dead but because he said I wanna be the king of hell and if he wants to do taht he has to beat the current king of hell. The reaper
Zoro's about to wake up in Soul Society....actually, that would make for a great video. Strawhats in Soul Society: What squads would they be in?
I guarantee you, we will see Pedro alive in this cover story. Be prepared
I really want you to be wrong but its Oda
intro was great effort tekking
Pudding can edit memories, so could she ‘cut off / delete’ Niji and Yonji memories to do with their conditioning and possibly their emotionless state?
That wouldn't work memory deals with the conscious mind psychological conditioning deals with the subconscious
Legit the only review channle that actually says what happens instead of how they felt.
This was pretty good man I appreciate all the hard work you put into these reviews
I hope that Brook get his fight in wano. And now I hope it's against the Grimm Reaper.
“I don’t have health insurance doing this”
Even death is out here struggling.
