- Welcome to this tutorial video where I will be showing you how to create thousands of NFTs using only photoshop a spreadsheet and NO coding at all!
I have multiple tutorials already on variable data and in this video I'm going to combine this technique with designing NFT's to create thousands of unique .JPG files that can be used to upload to NFT markets like OpenSea.
The downside of this tutorial that there is no option for exporting the metadata. But I will get into some calculation for the rarity.
In this video I assume you already know that NFT’s are but just the be very short: NFT’s are these unique collectable .jpeg files that have been put on the blockchain so you can own and collect them.

Very helpful video, thank you! @Primo Graphics is there a way to limit the NFT output to a specific number of variations? I have many traits and don't want to output the max number of variations which would be in the millions. I only want 5,000...
Times the variations together, it'll tell you how many are expected, then once you're slightly over, remove the number of lines from the variation that you don't want before exporting the CSV into photoshop.
That'll create lesser NFTs and give you the amount you need.
It's best to work our rarity etc prior to exporting the CSV to photoshop too, that way you already have the metadata available and won't have to delete any images later.
man your video is very cool and very instructive, unfortunately i can't find the "show items with no data" in my pivot table. so i can't continue the process of generating every combinaison of my layers. do you have any solution for me please ?
Is this possible to do with video layers and blending modes on specific layers?
I'm struggling in the process. I have no idea what's going on. On my PivotTable fields do not show my rows the same name I have in fields name. It only shows the mouth in the rows. Also shows all values.

Hey thanks for this tutorial. Can you specify the number of outputs? If you have more than 4 traits the max number can easily get into the millions / billions. 10,000 seems to be the best number these days.

one thing i noticed is that the combinations are not random.
For instance every background is used the same amount of times so i am having the same version many times but just different backgrounds
it is generating all the combinations but not actually mixing them randomly.
can you give me your input on that please?

Hmmmm wondering if there's any follow ups with this since this is just the generation aspect. We also need to think about the metadata aspect as well.

When you mint an NFT collection. Do you have to individually pay for each NFT to be listed?
This is a great video, thank you. I made 1500 nft group. The one problem I have is some of the smaller attributes like eyes, mouth etc are oversized. They didn’t hold the parameters. Is there a setting in photoshop that would prevent that?

Got an "excel not responding" when trying to create the pivot table. Would that possibly be because there are too many files loaded into it? Do the pivot tables generally take a really long time to load? Thanks

Hi Mahdi, could it be that you have a variable in the header without any data or with blanks in that column? That could be the cause! Good luck

Great information! When I try to export as files and select Number 1,2..None on the remaining, I get an error that reads "Cannot export Data Set 1 because the replacement file is not found". Any idea why I'm getting this error? I selected the .csv file and all the data showed up as uploaded, so I'm uncertain. Thank you.
Also, my Excel does not have that "Design" at the top like your Excel. I don't know why that would be.
Please help! In csv file i have 3500 combination, and when i import it in photosho, it only shows 1235 variables.

When I was importing data set csv file showed me this error...
I ve done it twice and Everything looks fine. All of my pngs are there in the same folder, neither blanks or anything and still it says that could not export any data set . Is it bc I use a specific background and sketch-base?
At what point of the process do you get that error and what is the exact error?

Hey I keep getting something when I export the files to layers. It goes and then stops and says command delete doesn't currently work and then says user canceled the operation
If it keeps crashing you can also try to export the layers manually as .png

i must be the problem... followed every word 50 times.... after i create pivot and do all the table settings, it only shows one list of file names. All others are counts. Anyone?
How can you export with keeping its position in canvas? I did it exactly what you did but the result is only the object without its original position in canvas

After you have your complete excel file you can cut and paste like 250 rows into different files and upload them 1 by 1.

Nederlands inderdaad. Ik denk niet dat het kan want .gif files worden volgens mij niet ondersteund als pixel variabele. Ik ga het eens uitzoeken binnenkort!
@@PrimoTutorials weet jij misschien met welk programma ik animated NFT’s kan maken? I.e; een gif als achtergrond en op de voorgrond het poppetje met verschillende lagen? Het lijkt zo simpel maar er is niks over te vinden zonder te coderen met Python etc 😵💫

Please, I did everything like you and at 15:50 it doesn't work 😭 it says:
Unable to export the dataset because the replacement file cannot be found.
Did you relocate any of the .png files? If so place it back to the folder where the spreadsheet is pointing to. This warning is triggered when one of the file locations in the spreadsheet is incorrect.
@@PrimoTutorials I have redone everything in your video twice. And still the same error in the same place. Do you know where the error could be coming from?
It can be only one thing and that is that the image file for one or multiple of your datasets is missing. Make sure the spreadsheet doesnt link to any non existing or moved .png files.
It worked for me. I had removed certain items from the original excel file, even though I copied everything after making the changes it gave the error so I redid that process and it finally ran smoothly.

Why do you do the last part to change the rarity of some of them?
Because some people want a certain trait to be more rare then others.
Can you attach Metadata this way?
You can calculate rarity but no metadata.
error: a common photoshop error. This feature may not be available in the current version of photoshop. The delete command is currently unavailable. please tell me what to do?
Check your file for empty layers

Clear out the blank cells and check if every Variable row contains data.

Hello! How do you select the rarites and choose what percentage of each trait is generated? having trouble with this step
Hi. He showed it at the end of the video. You can reduce the trait to the number of times you want it to feature in the nft collection. You could also delete the number of pictures from the folder where you have your nft collection. That way, you can manually do.
how to add meta data?
You can calculate rarity as explained in this video. Metadata needs to be coded if you want to add that.

Very good tut, but there a lot easier way to create unlimited NFTs for free, no coding of course... and also no Excel! It's too complicated. 😉
Yeah the technique got old really quick because a lot of new ways are developed in the meantime.
