I'm on week four (2.5) and the side effects are nearly all gone. Keep going, don't give up. Things will get better. I've batted with extremely high blood sugar numbers. My numbers are now like a normal person. It's been a miracle for me. My numbers went down significantly even in week one. I've dropped from 193lbs to 177lbs in four weeks. Weight loss wasn't my goal but it's been a pleasant side effect.

I'm down 17lbs in week 5. I'm not even trying. I'm just not hungry and not eating much. I'm a bit concerned about the not eating part. I'm starting to look for meal replacement drinks to make sure I'm getting some nutrients into my body. I've always have been taking a few vitamins like B12 (need to take this if your on Metformin as it depletes it.) B complex, D3, K2MK7, Magnesium (This one is import on this med.) I've also noticed I'm not drinking so much. You would never see me without a cup in my hand, whether it be coffee, water or diet coke. Now I have to make sure I drink some water. Still getting reflux on occasion if I eat to late at night. That's been the worst part for me. The good news is that my blood sugar numbers dropped right away. I've had AC1 numbers as high as 13 !! that was a long time ago but I've struggled with numbers like 250-300 after some meals. Now I find myself hovering around 89-126 on average and peaking at 145 - 165.

I started on 2.5mg Mounjaro August 26th and lost 30 lbs. the first month. Now I'm down from 208 to 165 and it's still under 2 months since I started. It's amazing stuff. I am on the compounded version since insurance doesn't cover it, but it is definitely working!! I've had some nausea and weakness, but they kept me on 2.5mg since I'm losing weight so quick. I'm also doing Ruthless, which is a 20 minute workout program similar to Insanity with intense circuit training.
On week 6 and I am quitting. The GI side effects have been overwhelming and too disruptive to continue. Had extreme morning sickness first two trimesters during pregnancy many years ago. This is similar but much worse.
Hesitant to try this but got prescription. Dr. Jason Fung protocol has worked to put type 2 in remission but it requires a lot of concentration. Very good video.
I am Polish, lost 10,3kg within 3 weeks. I am on 1000kcals per day and KETO diet. I feel no hunger. Next Saturday will be on 5mg. No side effects. Highly recommend!
I've made the choice. I'm stopping mounjaro because I have never gotten the gas, bloating, and heart burn under control. Sadly, it was the only thing that controlled my type II diabetes. I can't live a life waiting to explode at any given moment. Can't spend a day or two on Mounjaro days where I stay in bed. Can't spend my life looking for where the next pharmacy is to fill my prescription. Can no longer deal with the constipation. This is not LIFE. Hopefully, some alternative will come down the pike.
this is where i am.. the constipation was horrible.. 3 to 5days.. i was really concerned..then the not being able to find a pharmacy who had it in stock.. im done.. now 3 weeks off it and im still constipated.. smh.i want my body back..lol
I started monjauro and had all the side effects you've had and quit cause I couldn't take this nausea stomach pain and constipation. So I did some research. I found that a high protein diet does the magic. 120 g of protein lots of water. Fiber gummies, stomach still lozenges for nausea. Exercise a brisk walk chair exercises. Bloom green powder helps if you take in the morning. Lots of fruits veggies. I'd stay away from broccoli cauliflower and cabbage that tends to give you gas. Water, electrolytes, coconut water. Helps I lost 4.1 lbs my first week. Thursday was my 2nd dose. We'll see how this week goes. But definitely high protein fruits and veggies and fiber ! Hope this helped.

On the fifth day of taking Munro, I had tingling all over my body, my whole arms, my hands and feet and then today’s day six I had a little bit in my hand and feet and then day seven I still have a little bit in my hand and feet. What do you think this is?
I took it two days ago. Yesterday I was belching sulfur all day, was exhausted, threw up all over myself and shit myself. I am 100 percent not joking. also my doctor is out of town, seeing a different doctor today since I am so unwell.
❤ Im sorry. My comments were deleted, but I have had very similar issues. Many have. You aren't alone, and it's not nearly as rare as claimed. Some things do help the side effects. Gas x helps w the burps. I take zofran for nausea and make sure im hydrated. Carefully not eating fatty things and trigger foods also helps. The diarrhea thing is something that i havent found a solution for. I have mental health issues on higher doses too.
@@Rehamy not really sure what i said for it to get blocked but I only had nausea, cold sensitivity, Sulphur burps and constipation on 2.5mg unless I ate something very fatty and fried then I would get soooo bloated and have pain in my side and vomit badly. As my dose was increased even seeing the shot would make me nauseated. I would be so fatigued, bloated and nauseated and would throw up if I ate the slightest thing wrong.I had a kidney stone form at one point. I started getting anxiety and depression REALLY bad too. Like i had episode before mj but nothing like this. I would wake up in anxiety attacks and cry my eyes out. I also started feeling very angry at small things and getting very hypersensitive and easily overstimulated. I eventually quit my job bc the anxiety attacks and cry fits were so bad in the mornings i couldnt go in. I got them to check my thyroid bc i was gagging and feeling tightness in my neck alot but turns out it was anxiety triggered. At one point when i showered or would work in my yard I would feel lightheaded, short of breath, and have this feeling like I was passing out. I also started having these pain attacks in one side the night of my shot or the next night if i ate slightly bad. ( like 1 slice of pizza after barely eating at all that day, or just a bite or 2 of anything fried,or even the tiniest hint of bbq or having a small slice of cake) This was after id stopped the shot to have a surgery then resumed months later. I wasnt taken off the meds but supplemented vitamins started hydrating w water and electrolytes. Now a year and half into taking this on and off I am adjusting better. 😂 I only have the bloating, burping, diarrhea and acid reflux and most of that has an over the counter solution. 😂 I am definitely not the majority taking this medication btw! Plenty of people have little or no side effects on it but bc there was so little info when I started they didnt know my mental health symptoms were the meds and then after months of suffering and emergency mental health treatment, I found forums with actual patients on the meds and found out they were experiencing the same problems too! I will say im down like 50 lbs but the price I paid for that weightloss was heavy. Just know if you have weird symptoms you are not alone!

You have to be very careful not to eat any fatty foods or things that dont agree w the meds or you will be so sick on it. (Since you're one of us who has side effects) I have learn this the hard way. I take mine w water after a small meal and take gas x w it. Make sure you hydrate really well and take your vitamins. Also, if you are on metformin, it can make the symptoms worse. I was taken off of metformin bc it was cause such issues.
I had to up my dosage after the first month , the first 2 weeks was fine , suppressed appetite, slept well , but the 3rd , my appetite came back with a strong .. let’s see how the 5 mg do

I am so allergic to it. 😢 2nd dose Mounjaro and I got at the next day a full blown allergic reaction. My whole face and neck flushed bright red. Skin got very hot and itchy, also my arm and hands. Whole mouth started to get numb and tingling. Antihistamine did nothing at all. Only after I took steroids it calmed down to a bearable level, but didn’t go away. I’m taking now since one week steroids. My face still is red and feels like a sunburn. I decided to take Mounjaro in the glass bottles, because it has way less components. Wegovy and Ozempic isn’t possible because they use propylene glycol and I know I’m allergic to that. So it was Mounjaro. Hopes were high and now I also can’t use it. That’s really crazy, I never thought I would react in such a bad way.
Thank you! I thought I was losing my mind. I to was itching. I was on it for three weeks and the third week I wanted to rip my skin off my body. This week would have been 4wks, but I will not be taking the mounjaro. My Dr. wants me to go back on Ozempic. My Dr. put me antihistamines for 3 days. OMG!! It was the best relief I had in 2wks. So now I’m rethinking about going on any of them and just do this by myself.

I am now on 10 mg Mounjaro and now I'm getting lots of gas release when I stand up and BLOATING! I have loss 80 lbs thuss far and my A1c went from 11.2 to 6.6 thus far I have been on Mounjaro for a year now and I had constipation right through from the lowest doseage to now 10 mg. My main issue is the bloating and it no longer suppresses my appetite like it did in the beginning.
Just to let you guys know, if you drink more than about 3 quarters of a bottle of red wine a night on this you'll have a bloated stomache and acid reflux in the middle of the night, so if this is you that's why your having these side affects and they can easily be stopped.
@@kathleenjohnson1483 The ER doctor gave me a Benadryl Injection to rule out allergic reaction. It made it worse because of dryness of throat. The otolaryngologist diagnosed me with LPR and worked with a a gastroenterologist for treatment plan. I had to change my diet completely and basically lived on mashed potato and scrambled eggs and complete voice rest for three weeks and sleep upright. My voice is back to 80% of what it used to be after 2 months. Within 5 minutes from injection, I could feel the acid burn in my throat. It damaged my upper esophageal sphincter. I stopped taking it after that first injection. It is not worth it.

Who ever have so bad side effect you taking fake one . This is my third month on munjaro , first month 5mg ,second 7.5mg and now 15mg , I lost 20kg , only side effect what I have it’s lack of power and that’s it .
Thats a lie. I get sick everytime i time my shot and it is name brand mounjaro. Just bc you dont have side effects doesnt mean other are taking fake meds! It just means your body agrees with the medication.
My doc changed me to this. And he gave me 5mg and I was fine first doze and I thought I was fine. Took second and I have diarrhea for days now. I have a cruise coming in a few days and I can’t cancel. I am so mad at my doctor! I was fine on Ozempic but can’t find any here so he switched me! I hope he goes to hell if this ruins my first vacation in ten year. I’m so mad!

Who ever have so bad side effect you taking fake one . This is my third month on munjaro , first month 5mg ,second 7.5mg and now 15mg , I lost 20kg , only side effect what I have it’s lack of power and that’s it .
Thats a lie. I get sick everytime i time my shot and it is name brand mounjaro. Just bc you dont have side effects doesnt mean other are taking fake meds! It just means your body agrees with the medication.

I'm getting have gotten mine from CVS PHARMACY, PUBLIX PHARMACY AND COSTCO PHARMACY. I doubt they are selling counterfeits.
My doc changed me to this. And he gave me 5mg and I was fine first doze and I thought I was fine. Took second and I have diarrhea for days now. I have a cruise coming in a few days and I can’t cancel. I am so mad at my doctor! I was fine on Ozempic but can’t find any here so he switched me! I hope he goes to hell if this ruins my first vacation in ten year. I’m so mad!

You sound a bit unhinged, your doctor is not to blame for the side effects you are experiencing. If this medication does not agree with you , discontinue it .
