Hi Billy I worked abroad for 14years, and came back to Liverpool in 2021, I was so shocked and disappointed on how our city had changed, not just Liverpool but all of the UK.
Same everywhere in the UK mate,falling to pieces and being destroyed at the same time!

Like this eberywhere i went down to my local pool hall for the first time in few years yertday and there was a group of middle eastern lads staring at everyone coming in, this would of been jnheard of a few years ago here.
Well he said there's multiculturalism but 'we're all scousers'. Yet if you're indigenous to the UK and from anywhere else in the UK you're forever from that place. But if you're from the Congo and landed yesterday but move to Liverpool you're a multicultural scouser. Go figure.

i love liverpool and when my wife died 4 years ago i used liverpool as a place of reflection and the people of liverpool without knowing it helped me with the loss .. im from the wirral and its amazing how negative the people are over here..birkenhead is a tip and totally dead ....... i spent my teenage years in the 80,s following bands such as " a flock of seagulls " and " echo and the bunnymen " ... well done billy for letting others know about the greatest city in the world .... YNWA ......

Cornish and live in Welsh valleys. My daughter went to university in Liverpool. Went up there for a few days 2 years ago for her Graduation what a nice City. I've been around and I've never been to such a warm and welcoming city everyone was friendly and Genuine.

The juxtaposition of beautiful listed buildings and deprivation is startling. Speaking as a tourist. I’ll always love coming to Liverpool though
I moved to Liverpool a year ago from Belfast and found it very easy to settle here. The key is to blend into the culture and don't take the piss with bullshit. I'm not from here so it's not my place to inflict my ways onto other people. Especially since my ancestors are from West Yorkshire. I've found the locals to be very welcoming but you can tell they don't take any bullshit.
I really like Liverpool it's such an interesting place I'm from the midlands and try make a visit at least once a year people from Liverpool have always been very friendly to me great video 👍

Coming down from Glasgow I was shocked at the amount of homeless. We actually stayed at that Holiday Inn you walked past at the start, Liverpool is a great city and is fantastic for a night, it puts Glasgow to shame, the people are really friendly and helpful.

Absolutely insightful video. Billy there are a number of groups who volunteer distributing food and essential items around to the cities rough sleepers. I've followed them on utube sometime you probably know anyway. I was in the city yesterday from my observations the number of tents have greatly increased. The Guy you identified is know by most of the groups etc ,its the lovely dogs who attract the people. By the way there are only 2 dogs generally. If possible could you edit your content and make a collage format and display it at the Open Eye Gallery in Mann Island. More people need to see your content. Take Care.

I was walking to town from the docks one day and some driver hit me with his wing mirror and shouting after him he drove off as wehit town some lad came running round the corner screaming i damaged his dads car then started swinging so i gave him a good hiding...as I was walking away he shouted 'theres no need for that" hahahah great days indeed lol

Amazing old buildings. Built to last. We used to drive by there in the early fifties to get to my Granny's house. They're all still there. Some workmen from years ago did that.

3 years ago I landed my dream job in IT... fast forward to now, I have just secured my dream job whilst working in Liverpool City Centre.
Grateful for the opportunities I have in life and although drugs will never stop ravaging through communities, I do hope one day everyone has a proper roof over their heads and homelessness is eradicated.

It's weird, the city has improved in so many ways, but it feels like London now because of the number of let's say ' non Scousers' who live here. I still try to get into town a couple of times a month though, sometimes just to walk around or go for a few bevvies👍

Still a British city and a great one at that. I've never been but i know people who have gone - some have stayed and they say that it is brilliant, good nightlife, friendly people, fantastic landmarks and heritage, world famous musicians, including the Beatles and even has a subway. Yes it's got it's fair share of violent history and has a gang problem but what major city hasn't? Where i'm from it isn't so much diverse but SWAMPED and no longer identifiable as British as the locals avoid the town center and stick to the outskirts or shop in neighboring market towns and villages Many locals have left to escape the crime and criminality that has come with this cultural enrichment remorselessly forced down our necks. The destruction of the British/Irish/European identity has been planned by outside forces and 5th columnists for decades. The WEF pulls the levers.
