    Great video. We are going on this trail this week. Any words on advice?
    Do you recommend counterclockwise?
    Do I need waterproof shoes? I know there are a couple of water crossings. I will just use water shoes.

      Thanks! It's a beautiful, well-maintained, and well-marked trail. Counterclockwise worked well with our schedule (it also makes for a milder, more gradual first day), but you can't go wrong either way.
      Good call with the water shoes - there are a few crossings that came well above ankle height, but they are very straightforward this time of year. Safe travels!
