    Hi Albert, your pwm block is set not to trigger the ADC. When I do that I get an error saying that the block links to, but isn't set to trigger. How do I fix that other than setting it to trigger?

      to trigger the PWM you need to setup the ADC element to "start-stop" and PWM element to "trigger ADC". To have the ADC be sampled at the rate of the ZOH interrupt then select ADC to be "continuous" with the PWM to "not trigger ADC".

    I understand that I can only apply positive signals on the ADC on the real hardware. So, I need to offset the AC signals that I want to read with the ADC. My question is how can I remove this offset in PSIM?

      Using the summer blocks and a source you can easily add and subtract an offset of constant or arbitrary nature. Make sure that when you use the ADC block that you scale the feedback signal properly.

      PSIM Can I apply negative voltage to ADC of the actual DSP board?

    • @altairhowto

      You need to check with the datasheet of the DSP to make sure that your signals are within range.

      +ujjwoltamrakar do you know if Can I apply negative voltage to ADC of the actual DSP board?

      +A. Morais No you cannot.

    I am simulating ADC only, but getting error msg
    ""Error Message:
    Element: PSM_F28335_ADC Name: TI_ADC2
    Error #4003: The input of the element is floating.""

    • @altairhowto

      you need to ground the input pins.

    I am having the same doubt here, Can I apply negative voltage to ADC of the actual DSP board?

    • @altairhowto
      @altairhowto  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +A. Morais no you can not apply a negative voltage as per the data sheet. What AC coupling does is it automatically implements the -1.5V reference in the code. It assumes that you will have correctly offset the input voltage in the real hardware.

    i wonder to know which can do generated code?

    • @altairhowto
      @altairhowto  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +劉韋伯 I'm not sure I understand the question. PSIM supports code gen for F2833x, F2806x, F2803x, and F2806x from TI.

      Sorry , my question is which psim version can use this function ,because now I'm using ver.9 , but I got a little bit problem, so I'm curious if my psim can't use this function.

    • @altairhowto
      @altairhowto  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +劉韋伯 code gen is an extra module that needs to be purchased separately. We are currently on version 11 you will need to upgrade to use he code gen tools.
