I’d rather see it being enjoyed and move on with what I enjoy- bringing more busses back from the abyss and putting them back into the hands of people that can enjoy them.
Realistically this bus will get driven 500 miles this year if I keep it, that’s all it got last year- I’d rather hear a successful trip report from a 10,000 mile trip with a new owner.

I’m not a doctor, but If I were missing an arm… I wouldn’t necessarily expect to find it. (Though 10 years is a long search!)
Turn key enjoyment! Thank you for the tour. If I didn’t purchase my ‘91 I would have definitely given that some serious thought. As it sits your pricing is pretty close to what I’d imagine wanting after all the time, effort, and money into it. Beautiful bus. Cannot wait to see the other buses and doka. Do you see yourself going as far with your other projects?
Not sure. The blue bus has been a great new travel companion, and we have a new rescue scheduled soon- so I just don’t see ‘ole-red getting the miles this year. : /

The vanagon market seems very weak at the moment.
For low to mid end stuff perhaps, but stuff that’s well sorted and ready to go- sells fast.

That thing is gorgeous. Say, you’re handy w a welder, maybe see if Bostig Jim will license that bumper design for small, artisan runs.
Jim sold the rights to the files a while back, they're owned... .by someone, but they never went on to production.
How more commen certain parts are here in europ (seats) compared to the states and vice versa is fun to watch:)

AWESOME! Thanks friends! I absolutely love this bus, it's truly been my favorite of all the busses I've ever owned. It's got old tech at this point, still running an old 170ah lead acid battery, but some day- it'll get a lithium setup from Amperetime!

You have literally the only rarer vanagon model then I do! A sunroof syncro 16?!?!? There must be about 6 of those, total!

What would you like to see?
Why would you value a Westy that doesn’t have the roof? Can’t say I would do the Westfalia so much as that roof that goes straight up and gives you walking room from behind the front seats to the rear.
Different strokes for different folks I guess.
The sunroof syncro is exponentially more rare than a syncro westfalia, so that has value. The new owner can change the interior to whatever they’d like.
Pretty impressive. When the door opened I can see the added value . Plus it doesn't have the water leaker .

In this bus- it's lizard skin sound deadener, ceramic insulation, then raptor bed liner.

What’s the estimate on having new headliner Instalation & Labor?
I have not gotten an estimate, but I’d be glad to if we get to that point in the conversation.
The headliner is made and can be remade by sewfine in Colorado, and they’d be the best shop in the country to install it.
