    The significant difference between 'bullion' sovereigns and those with extra numismatic (collector's) value is that the bullion coins are easier to sell for a fair price when the time comes. Realizing the extra numismatic value of rarer coins can be time consuming, if not quite difficult.

    I like checking out your gold coins, very nice assortment! I only buy from reputable dealers and very rarely private sale.

      @@SovereignSaurus there's a couple sovereigns on my bucket list for sure. I'm working on filling a tube of quarter oz and a tube of tenth oz eagles, and I recently decided to get my first collection pieces the Spanish mint tenth oz Lynx and plan to get each of the tenth oz releases. Other than the Spanish mint releases my gold purchases are on hold till I get to my silver base weight goal because it was increasing too slowly. Once I get to my base weight goal (1000 Oz's of silver) I'll start primarily stacking gold so I can get to reaching those goals sooner. It just sucks being in such a limited income but I'm addicted so it'll happen, just not as fast as I'd like to see.

    It's hard-enough finding dealers who'll pay spot for gold, let alone 'collectible' coins.

    What are your thoughts on the new Memorial bullion sovereign?

    • @SovereignSaurus
      @SovereignSaurus  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's unique in that it's the first sov with him on and a special design but also it is unusual that they've released 2 2022 sovs on bullion. I don't think it will be a bad buy and it'll do ok but I don't think the bullion version will gain loads and loads in premium. Once mine arrives I'll have a video out 👍🏼

    When its time to sell your coins.. do you think people will care about face value or weight and gold content?

    • @SovereignSaurus
      @SovereignSaurus  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Some of that could likely depend on tax rules and how the disposal or acquisition is treated. Maybe not a big deal for a few coins but as a stack gets larger could be more of a consideration. As it stands certain coins are treated more favourable in the UK, US and thus they tend to be more popular on the whole
