Tfs! I am currently trying to use up 6 bottles that are on their last legs. While I can pan makeup and not get sick of it, I'm like you in that i cannot imagine forcing myself to pan a full bottle of perfume. I am motivated to pan 6 bottles only because they are almost already done!
Hello Wendi, fantastic goals with your project pan. I don't tend to use my fragrances that are hard to replace😅. I need to enjoy them more because that is why I have them. I will say it can feel so good to finish a bottle. I am going to be trying to use things I am tired of having, mixed in with things I actually want to wear and push myself to have a fancy fragrance day at least once a week week. Hi Wendi! Video suggestion: I would LOVE to hear how you got into fragrances! What they mean to you, your connection to them as you have evolved throughout your life, etc...all the things! Maybe you have touched on this before, but I haven't come across one of your vids where you talk about your journey! You seem so passionate and I just KNOW there's a good story there, and some deep thoughts!
I missed the boat on Bottega Veneta, sampling it only after it was discontinued. I’ve been able to order several decants, and I’ve purchased Rihanna Rogue (also discontinued? bur readily available) which smells very, very similar, a bit of a screechier opening, but not much later, very close to the same. I love your perfume videos!
Hi Wendy! You have sophisticated taste in perfume. I own several of the perfumes that you mentioned including the EDT of Bois des Iles. I'm wondering if you get the gingerbread note? Thank goodness I have a FB. It's so beautiful. I'm also sad that Bottega Veneta has been disco'd. Ugh, I wish I had a backup. My little bottle is almost empty. I can't seem to stop my hoarding tendencies with these favorites. I love that you talk about all types of perfume. It's refreshing to watch a video that doesn't consist of mostly gourmand scents. They become repetitive. Good luck with your project pan!
Thank you so much! And yes I totally get the gingerbread note, it's warm and enveloping and thankfully not too foody. And it's like a perfume tragedy about the Bottega Veneta. Why God Why??? I'm glad you like my choices I know I'm not going to appeal to everybody but I figure I have to have some kindred spirits:)
Ok I’ll be the schmuck- bois des iles is pronounced more akin to ‘….de zeel’. Or maybe you did that intentionally, right after panning the egoiste guy? Haha. Always love your eclectic mentions- Moss gown and Vientiane and divine from providence I do adore. The only bottle I’m working on working thru is pomares beaulah. Because the sprayer went bad and I only had bottles to decant half of the now open-to-air bottle. I marvel at my laziness sometimes.
That's hard to answer. The florals are unusual in that they are chamomile and sunflower and jasmine vs a more traditional feeling floral heart. Despite being mossy its not a heavy chypre, the green herbal aspect is very bright and not murky at all. I'm not sure if that helps lol.

Six bottles though that is a good amount. And we only have so many days to wear our perfume I'm not wasting a day on a meh that is for sure!
