Isn't it wonderful to be able to let go of something not working! My poor gardener just couldn't understand why I had him pull out 2 small evergreens from the flowerbeds. They just weren't doing it for me after 2 years.
Laura & Aaron, I know that you hear this all the time, and it is said in many ways to you, from people of all walks of life, but I want to say it again, in my way. You both, your family, and all of your staff really don’t know how much you contribute to someone’s day, their week, or their year. I am a gardener, and come from a long line of proud gardeners. Even if you are not a gardener, but just like watching others do it, the way you convey your information as a whole, is always positive, full of inspiration, knowledge, how-to’s, preventatives, fun, and the love of your careers just oozes through each and every video, and touches us deeply. At the end of each video, we are left with such joy, richer in knowledge, and left with such inspiration and a peaceful outlook on gardening, and just life in general. The complete “all”, that you put into your videos is absolutely contagious, refreshing, and you always leave us wanting more. To say thank you, for all that you do, sometimes seems inadequate, but I truly thank you all. You truly do make my day, my week, and my year so much better, in ways that you’ll never know, for all kinds of reasons. This reminds me of a saying my grandmother used to have-“If you want to improve your view, plant a tree in your neighbor’s yard.” She meant it more as a reminder that helping others will improve your own life, but I definitely feel like it applies here. A Hoselink would be a huge blessing, last summer I tripped over my hose and landed on my nose and had two black eyes. Hi Laura and Aron, I love you show. You are so inspiring. My 17 year old daughter and I have been going through a lot of medical problems. My daughter had thyroid cancer a year ago, and recently had to have her entire colon removed. I’m dealing with multiple intestinal problems that require surgery very soon, as well as long-term copper deficiency, which makes and physical exertion really difficult (along with many other issues). I wasn’t feeling good yesterday, but I sat down and watched your videos for this week. It inspired me to get up and repot around 75 of my seedlings that were past due (for the first time, because of you, I started lots of plants from seed to landscape around our new Aquascape pond). When my daughter saw me doing this, she, for the first time, asked to help me! You have even inspired her! When I feel too tired to deal with my garden and plants, your show breathes inspiration in me to keep going. I thank you both so much for that, and for inspiring my daughter. Now that we got that out of the way, let us tell you how much you inspire us as we revamp and recreate my parents gardens as we renovate their 1880's farmhouse and yard. We've expanded some of the gardens they created over the years and are in the process of creating some of our own. The information we learn from the two of you is priceless!! A Hoselink would be a huge blessing, last summer I tripped over my hose and landed on my nose and had two black eyes. I am 64 years old and almost done with my cancer treatments and looking forward to being out in my garden. :) I watch your videos every morning and have learned so much, you and your family have blessed me so much. :)

I have been going through a lot of medical problems. My daughter had thyroid cancer a year ago, and recently had to have her entire colon removed. I’m dealing with multiple intestinal problems that require surgery very soon, as well as long-term copper deficiency, which makes and physical exertion really difficult (along with many other issues). I wasn’t feeling good yesterday, but I sat down and watched your videos for this week. It inspired me to get up and repot around 75 of my seedlings that were past due (for the first time, because of you, I started lots of plants from seed to landscape around our new Aquascape pond). When my daughter saw me doing this, she, for the first time, asked to help me! You have even inspired her! When I feel too tired to deal with my garden and plants, your show breathes inspiration in me to keep going. I thank you both so much for that, and for inspiring my daughter. I'm 22 and have always enjoyed gardening but have really gotten into it the past few years because of your channel. Reading the comments reflect the truly wide range of viewers....young and old...new gardeners to even master gardeners (who obviously have a great attitude about continuing to learn!) is a very fun thing to do!
