- Any fan of adidas’ ZX lineup will know that this aqua colorway is a must-have. This 2020 release is a retro to the original 1988 release, and in my opinion the best version of it. This pair is not to be confused with the 2013 retro, or the 2019 adidas Consortium rework. Overall awesome colorway that pays homage to a classic OG pair from back in the day - all to be had at an affordable price.

You do know that there is boost hidden in the soles?
Yup! I wasn't entirely sure though because I have a ZX 8000 from 2011 (pre-Boost era) and the comfort was near identical. Didn't want to misinform the youth if I was wrong 🤷♂️

Do they fit true to size or snug
I find them to be a bit snug. Felt I could’ve rolled with a 10 instead of a 9.5

Probe agreed! I got a pair of the Azareths in a full size up at 10.5...found that to have a been a good move. Adidas sizing is always tricky to me.
It's felt I heard and I do own Adidas shoes with synthetic suede. I don't feel they are premium at all as far as the material

Sizing? Sizing? Sizing?
I went with my true 9.5 and they fit fine. A little snug for my liking so perhaps I could’ve went up to a 10. That’s just me though, you’re mileage may vary!

When I was a teenager, I got the first iteration of those Adidas Torsion, including the Edberg's tennis shoes. I played tennis a lot and got a new pair twice a year.
Two years ago, I saw the blue running Torsion in a shop in Switzerland and I bought them by nostalgia.
Very surprised and disappointed by the low quality in every aspect.
Adidas makes vulgar copies of its own best shoes.
