@@GolfBanditoHe's by far the best golfer of the last 15 years and one of the most talented ever, certainly top 5, so he's underachieved. What you're describing is how the average PGA players should feel with these results, and he is not average by any stretch of the imagination. Really though if you're like "what are you even talking about" to even begin to understand, there's no point explaining to such a biased fanboy.
Oh yeah for sure my guy. You can pick any lie you want, use a brand new club every time, and I'll give you ten tries. You won't hit inside that shot even once.
@@minioop2 everyone trying to talk trash on this platform like you, little boy. All I was saying is clean grooves and a good lie is a good start for any chance to hit a shot like that. Chill out
What’s also amazing is how much spin he can generate playing the TP5x which is a firmer and lower spinning ball. Must have the perfect bounce and grind on his wedges and just clips the ball perfectly. This was almost as good as his chip at the Ryder Cup that stopped on a dime 😎
Open the face, adress the ball slightly in the FRONT of your stance, keep the weight on your left side, keep a weak(er) left hand grip and hands slightly further back,s so rather on your right testicle than your left. Rotate your hips back to initiate the movement, do NOT wrist set to start the movement. Then, when you achieved the arc you intend to use for that distance you smoothly accelerate the hands (not club) towards the ball, that will generate a little lag. When your hands reach the point where your right testicle was you allow the lag to release fully but NO underarm rotation, left wrist is cupped not extended. This should bring the club that you adressed open back more square at impact, if done correctly and with the right angle of attack the grooves should munch into the cover of the ball, keeping the flight low and increasing spin. In simple words, address the ball with an open face, weight on the left and try to scoop it forwards, not up
The shot I work on religiously. Love it 🏌️♂️
I do that all the time ...on the practice greens!😅
It's a shame he doesn't win more, he's some player.
Rory’s certainly one of the greatest players on tour!
But he is definitely the greatest choker on tour!
I don’t understand how it’s done. Do you slide the club under the ball?
No sliding here. Striking the ball then the turf. For a low spinner compression and pure contact is the key
That's my normal wedge, and that doesn't spin like that 😂
He is just being the ball.
@@TheFuriousTeeyes watch how he releases it through impact, of course it’s gotta be ball first and you have to commit to it
First thing first you need a good ball and razor sharp grooves with no dirt on the club face to even give yourself a chance at this level of spin
How does he choke every time ?
Be original you dork
Rory, the Artist
What are you talking about anything in the top 5 is a win in itself winning is not easy at this level.

On a whole other level
Bread and butter for most tour pros.
Start winning majors again Rory we would all love you to
I do that all the time
Only when noones looking eh?
Such a clever shot a none golfer would just never understand the art needed to perform that
I did that today
Clean grooves and a good lie is a start

Seve was the master
Why can’t you hold the camera angle from his perspective for the replay?
Gripping down a tad and ball back in stance. Steep downswing.
He did not have shaft lean there. He used the bounce
In most cases mine just either stopped rolling too early or went way beyond.😭😭😭

very well🔥
And hes not playing a spinny golfball👌🏼
And the win went to…?
I did that once - well, sort of, it was a dream sequence while taking a nap after a good round at my local muni - but, to Me, it was real…. Ha!
greatest swing of all time
also the most underachieving sportsman of all time
He does it by crying about his previous shot
Just practice!
misses the put😂
😂😂
He subscribes to Dan Grieve’s channel 😂

Always 2nd these days! 😅
Juhhh lyke thought

He has reached a mental block. He has everything else. He should just see a sports psychologist. Love him to bits though and wish him well🔥🔥🔥
He really is overhyped, the golfing gods know it as well, that's why they won't let him win
Ojalá no se coma ese corto putt.
A par foir used to be drive and four iron on tour when Andy Bean was longest driver ave.
Its mickey mouse now .
I'm in the middle of my work and clicked. That chip was really useless to me, and comparatively useless to society.
But great for those of us who love golf.....
La práctica hace al maestro
Any clips of the winner ffs
