      I think "Weed Whacker" was a brand back in the late 80s that made line trimmers cheap and catered to the home owner. The name seemed to stick to all future line trimmers.

    Love the edge it pro I watch one of your reviews on them and had to buy them. I love them cause you don’t have to have a experienced string trimmer. I just tell them to run it along the sidewalk, and at first it’s awkward for them but man does it speed edging. I bought the golden edger which I’ve used the one for 2 years and still haven’t changed it, but we edge with that the first mow and then just use the edge it pro! Great product! If you haven used or heard of the golden edger look it up and try it change the blade once every 2 to 3 years.

    Just a thought on the weedwacking those small areas in the back of those buildings between drain pipes. You might want to try spraying a growth regulator on the grass so you may only have weedwack it every 6 to 8 weeks and then respray and repeat. It looks those areas would be a pain to trim. Great video and I look forward to B27i videos.

    When using the edgit pro on beds. Do you let the wheel run on the ground for better results or keep it up at the grass level?

    • @AmbrosLandscapingInc
      @AmbrosLandscapingInc  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It depends...if there is a lot of rocks or loose debris I wont let it touch the ground since it will fling up more debris . But if it has been edged weekly then I will drag it for sure, as well as on concrete edges.

    Southern California guy again...
    No guard, long .095 gauge line, at least a 26cc-ish motor and SKILLS.
    The longer pull on the string doesn't kick as much rock and crap and holds a line better. But you need the power!
    I'm using the Shindaiwa T262. Besides the 30cc motors, this one has a clutch that can hang with my long line.
    Try long line, no guard with low RPM in your roses on weeds. So choice.
    Weedeater or weed wacker.

      I personally love the tool since I got it, and i dont work with the company or get paid in anyway at all. I think the reason why a lot of other youtubers dont use it is because it does take a couple to a few weeks to get use to it so they give up on it to early. And when companies send use string trimmers to test out and demo it's not an universal fit which stinks....just a couple things I can think of but there are many more of course.

    String trimmer is using strings or lines. You’re using a metal plate aka the edgit pro thanks for wasting my time

      Wow umm ok....well the edit pro is plastic and is a guard...it doesn't cut anything. This trimmer still uses string, there is not metal blade on this idiot. Wasted your time and looked stupid doing it...congrats
